I have a computer at work with a 1070 and an i7 that I'd like to do a little CPU + GPU mining on, but the problem is that I don't have administrator access and the Webroot antivirus software removes every piece of mining software I download. I did have ccminer 2.2.2 running for a few hours yesterday before it got caught by Webroot. Currently the only thing that seems to work is the Monero mining extension for Chrome, but that leaves a lot to be desired.
Does anyone know of a way to get around Webroot without administrator access? (so without white listing or installing anything)

why XVG suddenly falled down so straightly today?  The rise was most likely due to FOMO right before Wraith's release, but now it's been delayed. Hopefully they'll get it out soon and we'll see another (hopefully permanent) rise. |

So you rather have them dump the 98 billion coins on day 1 instead of promoting solar for 40 years  The attention span of the average crypto investor seems to be very short  Very few people are thinking about anything longer than a year, and even that is a stretch for most people. |

Most altcoins usually take a hit when BTC reaches new highs. I'm taking this as a chance to grab some more SNT at a great price before it rebounds once BTC settles. |

This feels a lot like the last hard fork... BTC pumps up as everyone tries to hold as much as possible to maximize their fork payout, then after the snapshot they'll start buying altcoins again. No need for all this doom and gloom  |

What if this coin lifted me out of poverty and helped me to see the only lady I've ever loved again, who's on the other side of the Continent and who I was previously engaged too, but then left me because I had no money? Buying during the spike was a mistake, but as they say hindsight is 20/20  Looking forward I think you can hold off on panicking. TIX has only been on Bittrex for about a week, and they added it because it actually serves a purpose (not like most P&D tokens) so I doubt they will remove it any time soon. So yeah it has gone way down from the initial rush, but once people see that it's more than a cash grab coin I'm sure it will enjoy a nice increase. Also keep in mind that another BTC fork is coming up, which could spell good news for many alts. |

I think the pump from B2X could be bigger than the one from BTG, so I will also be putting most of my assets into alts. The trick is going to be picking the one(s) that will offset the fact that I won't receive any B2X, but depending on where B2X ends up price-wise that might not be too hard.

You can say that again I'm convinced there's no rhyme or reason to their picks, they just know that people will go on a buying frenzy based on a whisper of a rumor that they might pick something. Something has to change in the crypto community to take this dangerous power out of their hands. |

Looks like it's leveling out for now. Pretty nice for anyone who bought over the past few days, but not a full rebound for anyone who bought in during the bump back in September.
