221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Virtual/Practice Trading on: December 13, 2020, 02:16:53 PM
Hi guys! I just want to ask if there are websites that are offering virtual trading or practice trading with leverage and with real time market updates? If there is one can you give me the link please. Thank You! I just want to practice trading bitcoin by using virtual trading where the money involved is not real money in order for me to lessen the risks before I open an account in an exchange.
What do you imply with virtual trading and practice trading?

I guess virtual trading when you open your account and do demo trades. Practice trading is when you trade with your real money. If I understood you correct, you can practice with demo trades and learn to get entry, exit price, and price actions but demo trades never help you to practice your emotional control. Emotion is important and you can not trade successfully if you can not control your emotions and orders.

Manchester United 0 -0 Manchester City

this is being a kind of strange game, the two teams are attacking with caution, City already had some good opportunities while the manchester dominated the game in the first minutes.
Coaches (Pep and Solskajer) did not show their ambition to win and get all 3 points. It is a very boring match and Manchester United's players celebrated their 1 point as they just won a Premier League. What a shame for this generation of Man Utd players and his coach.

I agree with what Roy Kean said in his interview

Solsa can celebrate it and his position was saved. As consequence of finanical issues from the pandemic, the position of Solsa is more protected than ever. It is not from his works but from some few stars (Bruno is the player helps Solsa a lot) and the financial of the whole football industry).

When will we switch from traditional money to cryptocurrencies?

When we all realize just how superior and easy and convenient and secure crypto is. We all did the switch from cash to digital for the very same reasons, remember?

Money  in our card and phone made us less vulnerable to pickpockets. Made it easier to count change and pay instantly. And kept our details safe. When we learn crypto is even all that and more, plus cheaper and more responsible. Oh the switch will happen.
There are old and new generations, elderly and youngsters and they have different needs, different habits. Cash or digital currencies, mobile devices won't be able to change all of them and convince them to stop their use of cash. Some will still use cash but the number of digital currency users will increase.

It is not different much with paper book and ebook, email and traditional mail.

With cash, pickpocket can be a risk. With digital currencies, malware, trojans and online threats can steal crypto.

I am not sure this will ever happen for many reasons, and all governments would never allow it unless they are centralized and they have full control over them, but we can use them as reserve currencies.
More people need to see how bad fiat money can be with inflation and se potential of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, and maybe they are not perfect but they are better than fiat in may ways.
Switch does not mean elimination of cash. Cash and digital currency will exist together in human civilization.

For online gambling we always need a combination of skills and luck. At a casino, it might be a lot more luck than skills. And betting is also a matter of good preliminary research.
Information from players, teams and previous results are important here. You don't have that kind of information at your disposal at a casino.
You need ability to control your emotion and gamble responsibly.

Skills can be learnt and sharpened and it can be done more easily than control emotions and addictions. Gamble is addictive and if you don't have any plan to withdraw your capital after you win up to a amount you satisfy with. Or you don't keep up your plan and keep gambling with profits and capital in your account, you can get rekted and lose money very fastly.

I see all crypto gambling sites have their warnings on gambling responsibly and I see its similarity with the warning on packs of cigarettes. "Smoking can cause lung cancer" but who ares if they are smokers.

They need to level up there wallet in to a mobile version before they need to start an aggressive marketing. If they want that to happened, I think they need to add the mobile version of there wallet to target the majority of the crypto user especially on crypto wallet market. A wallet means you can easy access just like 1 tap on the app then you can transfer easily funds.
You forget a rule that trading on mobile is bad. Store crypto on mobile is bad. You can do it with very small amount of your crypto and please do it with your bigger part on your computers.

It is each person responsibility to keep their devices are clean. If they don't do stupid things, their devices will not be compromised.

A banner in coinmarketcap.com is not that reliable on getting a real user, Most the people using coinmarketcap is not clicking ads and also, many scam project already put ads there so I believe CMC doesn't care what project being advertised there.
Advertisements with banners need traffics and I don't doubt on the traffic of coinmarketcap.com. They are a very big site in crypto and projects have banner on their sites need to pay higher fees than on other sites and I think companies will get good clicks and traffics on their sites with banner on coinmarketcap.com.

It depends on the position of banner and companies need to choose the position that has a price of advertisment match their budget.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 12, 2020, 08:13:04 AM
My favorite bet in Bundesliga for today is Borussia Dortmund - Stuttgart game, over 2.5 goals.
When we check their last 5 clashes all games finished with 3 or 4 goals. This season Dortmund has 2.2 and Stuttgart has 1.9 goal average. Both teams are pretty creative on the attacking side.
Dortmund need 3 points more than Stuttgart and they are favorite at home. If Stuttgart find first goal we might see an easier over 2.5 goals game. I think we'll see first goal at first half.
Two teams are very productive in this season and their last 5 clashes are also productive.

Will Haaland be available for the match after his injury weeks ago?

I think Dortmund will manage to get three points but it will not be an easy match for them. 2 - 1 or 3 -1 for Dortmund. If it is 3 - 1, I believe the last goal for Dortmund will be scored very late from their counter attack. Dortmund has some disappointed matches in Bundesliga and they need to get win to keep up their trophy race with Bayern Muchen.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Major Social Media Companies on: December 11, 2020, 03:37:30 AM
It is not a good  approach for your long business if you are serious to build it up if you construct your business on third party platforms (facebook, twitter, instagram, youtube, twitch).

If you want to do something serious and intend to maintain it long term. Build up your website and build it up. You have full control on your business.

Website about crypto can have some risks from regulations so buy domain names from Namecheap and run it on VPS.
228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth to buy trading View ? on: December 11, 2020, 02:12:27 AM
Its been said that if you are a professional trader, you should buy the paid version of trading view as free version have some limitation the major one being  you cannot more than three indicators at the same time.
How the question is that is it worth upgrading to the paid version or using free version is sufficient for majority of the traders ?
It is worth to upgrade your Trading view account. I am not mentioning about more than 3 indicators on chart. It is a mess up on your chart but with Pro trading view account, you can have access to some indicators that you can not have access with a Free account. It is important, the indicator you use, not how many indicators or lines you include, draw and mess them up on the chart.

With Pro account, another advantage is an allowance to download data of the chart. It can be very useful for coders who can build up their scripts to trade with bots.

Be simple and I think a Free account can still enough if people are not greed and gamble. For professional traders and investors, they need a Pro account. It is not expensive if you buy it in Black Friday event each year. Less than 2 dollars every day to have a Pro account for 13 months, it is not expensive.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proved it once again on: December 11, 2020, 01:33:02 AM
Of course if not all, majority of altcoins is paired with bitcoin. So obviously, bitcoin is the measuring stick of all crypto coins. People really don't understand that altcoin market is more volatile than bitcoin, and they think that they can make quick and big money in altcoin, yes it's true, there is this pump-and-dump method in altcoin. But if you are not that careful, chances are you are going to lose your money very fast as well. And just observed that we are near all time high, or as others have said, we have reach in already. But look at the top 10 altcoins, most of the are not even close to 50% of their previous all time highs.
Since 2019, more exchanges create more USDT pairs for altcoins and traders have more convenience with more pairs to trade altcoins. It does not change the role of bitcoin in the market, as a leader, as a King and its effects on altcoins and capital flow are unchanged.

Altcoins are pumped and dumped with news from upgrades, development process, partnership and with general trend of the market. Trend is a friend and can help to get profit with altcoin investment. I would prefect to invest in silent altcoins rather than those altcoins have rallied too much this year.

I believe there is no definite pattern here. There were also countless of times when the price of Bitcoin is going down and the prices of altcoins, at least the leading ones, are soaring high. Case in point, when Bitcoin reached around $20,000 mid December of 2017, the price of Ethereum was only around $600. By mid January of the following year, Bitcoin has already lost around 30% of its price but Ethereum has more than doubled.
It is the capital flow and capital cycle. Whales manipulate the market but their ultimate goals is collecting profits. They get profit in Bitcoin, cash out to USD or stablecoin and dump altcoins at same time. They come back to manipulate altcoins in BTC pairs, get more BTC, and manipulate BTC again to get more USD or stable coins.

Quote
Of course, Bitcoin is the key player. It always has been and will always be the key player. It is always the dominant coin in the market but you cannot create a fixed formula which says when Bitcoin goes up altcoins go up and when Bitcoin goes down altcoins go down as well.
Altcoins are more vulnerable with news and law regulations than bitcoin.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to transfer money to an exchange on: December 10, 2020, 04:22:53 AM
In the country where I live banks refuse to send money to crypto exchanges due to some EU regulation.
You can use some exchange review sites and their filters to find some for you:
https://www.cryptowisser.com/exchanges/
https://exchangewar.info/
https://blockspot.io/exchange/

Your question is not clear. Send money to crypto exchange, what does it mean?

If it is about buying crypto with fiat (bank transfer, credit card) you can search with filters on sites I gave you. P2P marketplaces can be good but you need to choose good reputed trade partners to avoid money laundering and scam. Trade with bad trade partners can cause freeze on your credit card, bank accounts.

233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions about buying, holding, staking altcoins on: December 10, 2020, 03:11:21 AM
On Binance, you don't have to go through KYC to trade and withdrawal on their exchange if your daily withdrawal does not exceed 2 Bitcoin per day.

The exchange has many types of trdaes: spot, leverage, futures and you need to prepare enough knowledge on each type trade before you go into actively trading with each of them. Leverage and future trading can have liquidation on your accounts. They are risky types and you will see warnings before you click on Open the type of trade.

Staking, Binance has their pools and you can join to stake and get rewards. There are different schemes, with different time to lock your coins in pool and get different reward rates.

Altcoins are pump and dump assets so you have to be aware of their risks, price actions and don't make loans to invest in altcoins.

Binance Academy has its instructions for Binancers: What is staking?

How to stake on Binance

In a way, you could think of holding your coins on Binance as adding them to a staking pool. However, there are no fees, and you can also enjoy all the other benefits that holding your coins on Binance brings!

The only thing you have to do is hold your PoS coins on Binance, and all the technical requirements will be taken care of for you. The staking rewards are usually distributed at the start of each month.

You can check the previously distributed rewards for a given coin under the Historical Yield tab on each project’s staking page.

Thank you but it is for technical guy that I am not. I will wait for its official release and try to get my experience with Bitamp Exchange feature.

you can use Bitamp offline (since it's a client side wallet) but you will need to be online to broadcast transactions.

Try it, just save a local file for bitamp wallet creation and you can still create your wallet offline.
Do you have a guide for the offline wallet creation process? If you have it, can you share me a link to read and I will practice steps to create a wallet offline. I only found this article on your blog https://blog.bitamp.com/how-to-create-your-own-bitcoin-wallet/
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: December 09, 2020, 06:21:11 AM
Leizpig's victory was unexpected for me. The team was very nice. And the coach is quite strong. Reminds Borussia Dortmunt of the Klopp times. And Barcelona disappointed again. I haven’t seen it so helpless for a long time. Perhaps the team will gather in the next game.
It is a surprise because Leipzig is very weaker than they were last season, in Champions League and in Bundesliga tournaments. Nevertheless, I am not surprised with the bad result and performance from Solsa and Manchester United. Solsa is bad as a coach and he slowly makes Manchester United become too much depend on Bruno Fernandes.

The opponents of Manchester United know this dependence and they certainly will often try to break the circuits between Bruno and his teammates. Sometimes they fail because they are weak or Bruno is too excellent but sometimes they succeed. Leipzig is an example of successful efforts to break and isolate Bruno Fernandes in order to get win against Manchester United.
236  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need some help. 2FA security keys are not working on coinbase or other exchanges on: December 09, 2020, 06:08:13 AM
OP did not log in the account 4 days and I am lost that OP did resolved the issue or not yet.
- Correct timer
- Use a correct code
- Get a new code from support ticket

Obviously make sure you are using the correct code for the correct site.
Exactly, I wondering about that. This is something OP should make sure of. Sometimes I made the same mistake, mix up the authenticate codes with each other. OP would try by using all the codes. If it's not working even time is synchronized correctly. Otherwise, you have to raise support to reset your Google Authentication codes. If you can provide reasonable evidence accordingly, then hope they will reset it.
I did it too. I used to change my 2FA secret code, from old to new and later, I used old secret code to install 2FA on my new devices. Obviously it did not work. OP can check this point if he did made a few backup versions.

Just in case, OP did resolved the issue, please make a post to say thank you or edit OP and add "thank you". Last step to do is lock the topic if the issue was resolved. If the issue was resolved and the topic won't be locked, members and spammers will join and deteriorate it up to spam topic.

You got help? It would be polite to say "thank you" and give feedback.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finexbox unconfirmed transaction on: December 08, 2020, 03:27:41 AM
I have a trx unconfirmed transaction fore more than 5 hours in finexbox exchange...this exchange have a few trading volum with few users and transactions and i wonder why they take all this time to confirm just a simple trx transaction  Huh
You asked an inaccurate question. As an exchange, they don't confirm your transactions, the miners, stakers do confirmations. The responsibility of exchange is to approve your transactions (withdrawals) and broadcast them on networks. Then the rest responsiblity to confirm are for miners.

Exchanges in their sides, need to broadcast your transactions with appropriate acceptable fees to make sure miners will take it and confirm it ASAP or at least not too long annoying waiting time for their clients.

If your withdrawal was broadcasted by Finexbox but has not yet been confirmed by miners, you can only wait. If your withdrawal was not approved, ask them with a support ticket.

Hey,

I see in the Receiving tab with 3 default receiving addresses for 3 types. I can choose one of them from the drop down menu.
In the Address tab, if I choose each type of address, I will have a very long list of addresses with the address type.

Can I ask for the same long list in Receiving tab?
- Example: I choose the second address in the Address tab. Not choose the first one (the is a default one in Receving tab). So the question, how do I add it to the Receive address and get its QR code there? Is it possible?
- I suggest to include a new space for copy and paste receiving address after I choose an address type in the dropdown menu. As long as the address I copy and paste it is belong to the list in Address tab, it will be accepted. If I copy and paste an address from somewhere else (not belong to that wallet), it will be rejected.

My two cents.

I also see 2 tabs in developments: Lightning and Exchange.

Any sneek peak for Exchange tab, please.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everything you wanted to know about Grayscale BTC Trust but were afraid to ask! on: December 07, 2020, 01:13:30 AM
No, registered clients, or rather accredited investors, can actually buy shares (not bitcoins) from Grayscale. They buy them at NAV value, without the premium usually attached to shares in the secondary market, the one all of us can access to.
Also they can buy shares with an in-kind purchase. This means they can purchares shares representing bitcoin with actual bitcoins.
Buy shares with the supports from Grayscale but what those buyers (also clients on Grayscale) have to do to cash out if they want to take profits. Will they have to do this action via Grayscale? Submit their sell requests/ tickets and wait for acceptance from Grayscale? How long the process can take or it can be done immediately (few seconds or a few minutes)?

From last part of your post, I got the idea that Grayscales allow clients to be free to buy or sell shares of bitcoin on Grayscale' secondary market and it is a 24/7 market. Is it right?
