221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Still HODLing? There must be better way! on: April 09, 2018, 06:51:25 PM
I have read the article but didn't understand almost everything I think lol.
So the article is just suggesting balancing your portofolio, which is like diversity (?) which is one the golden rule while investing.

Investing $5,000 and split into 5 cryptos ($1000 each = 25%) and then change the value of these same 25% to 20-22-24% ?
..with a fixed amount of time between each rebalance.

Is it this?

Something like that... the OP's articles is a total mess and made with a sole purpose to advertise his 're-balancing service ' shrimpy.io/

I wouldn't fall on this.
We do indeed know what they expect , they want an attention . Rebalancing strategy or whatever they call it are a common thing.
Everyone aware and do manage their own investment with that kind style , don't need really an automatic bankroll manager , especially the operator have no good track record , why we have to use their service? Even more it's make people think that the service are shady suspicious.

Hi poplolnman, this is not true. Rebalancing is definitely not a common strategy in crypto. HODLing is a common strategy, but not rebalancing. Shrimpy is the only application that provides automatic rebalancing for anyone to use. Also, what do you mean we don't have a good track record? We absolutely have a good track record. We released the Crabby application about 6 months ago on this very website, then we released the Shrimpy Alpha version again on this website, now we are releasing our Shrimpy Beta on this website. We have never had a single complaint about our products. You can check my comment history and posts about these other products. I understand why people are suspicious since there are a lot of scams in the crypto space, but our track record speaks for itself.

This backtest tool will show you the advantage of using rebalancing. More people should be rebalancing their portfolio. It's as simple as that.
https://www.shrimpy.io/backtest?c=EAgGgEFA&p=1d&r=97
Never heard about that sorry , I know and understand that you have a point and vision there. But this kind app just make people remember about how bitconnect do a shady business .
People wouldn't even try the app due lack of reputation , I mean tell us who's used your app so far and get the benefit then voluntarily write a satisfaction feedback for your previous project ? People need more than words to trust something , they need a legit proof .
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we adopt altcoin to pay wages? on: April 09, 2018, 05:59:29 PM
Biggest problem is that salaries are usually the people's main income, and you can't really buy a lot with crypto, you can pay it to the governments as taxes and you can't really live on it.
Not only that, there are not a lot of people that will agree to accept crypto as their salary because it's price tends to be very volatility, and most of the people won't afford to lose their entire salary of the month just because they received their salary as an exotic currency.

The volatility problem could be solved by pushing the market value with supply held by the developer , for example ripple. The real problem are when there only few people who interested to use and adopt it even they know already the price would have less value movement, in the near future I feel pessimistic.
Second one , crypto currency well known as a tech savvy thing , the traditional people would reject it.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10,000 BTC SENT TO POLO AND BITTREX. BTC/ALCOIN OR BTC/USD on: April 09, 2018, 08:55:04 AM
the information you provide is horrible, but not for me. why assume from bittrex and poloniex only? because there are many great exchanges available today.

10k btc = 68.7 million dollars (current prices), meaning only a small portion of the total current market cap of btc 116 billion.

do you believe this?
I give the data for analysis, there are many large trading floors, but why polo and bittrex, in polo and bittrex have something different with other floor , Yes it is allcoin a lot
Yeah we can see how several altcoins in bittrex got pumped yesterday , the trading volume also increased drastically. Nbt pumped 150% within a day , tron go up and down so quick and many more strange coin played to up 20% average , that's make people wondering what the hell is happening the price jump spontaneously so do with the drop. Welcome to cryptocurrency space then where unknown money floods the market massively.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Livecoin.net exchange is a SCAM on: April 09, 2018, 03:48:52 AM
Indeed , just play there with caution , an exchange with bad support always accused as a scam service due how customer feel in disadvantage losing some potential profit . It makes the frustration level increased and in the end someone have to be blame , yeah a bad support causing all of this. So to make things clear , I would vouch livecoin still paying , just the way they run the business so far aren't perfectly professional , once again play with caution.

226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can you still get rich with crypto? on: April 08, 2018, 01:48:02 PM
Maybe, but its more difficult now, the market is not the same as it was years ago, we need a professional skills to gain profits as more and more people get involved into cryptos
Unfortunately nowadays a lot of people come and invest the money in crypto blindly without even a single consideration , more likely a gambling to become the rich one or go broke to have nothing.
And you know at the end the day where things went wrong far from what people expected they blame the crypto market are full of shady things , it's worse than the HYIP and many more swearing words. You can get a huge profit only when you have a proper plan , a proper bankroll management and a good skill analysis to see which one have potential , just look at how the way warren buffet turn a couple bucks into trillion dollars now. You can do the same thing , but not with the gambling way.
227  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next hours a drop hours! be there for the good BTC price!!! BREAKING NEWS! on: April 08, 2018, 11:35:54 AM
i am more interested in knowing more about what you think you are achieving by creating practically similar topics here on bitcointalk? one day as price is falling you are saying it is going to rise soon the next day as it is rising you are saying it is going to fall soon!!!
is it just a series of bad decisions that you keep on making while trying to trade bitcoin? or is it just trolling?
Randomly throwing baseless opinion in hopes to make people get panic and sell their Bitcoin .... It won't work. I see this kind behavior as an expression of frustration , you know how the feeling to buy Bitcoin at its all time high , they are tired waiting and looking another option by buying cheaper.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 08, 2018, 10:58:54 AM
Damn! Man City dominated that first half, match could've been 4-0. And Pogba, jesus christ, what the hell happened to the Pogba from Juventus? he's just so bad, but tbf the Man Utd midfield had a terrible performance, David Silva is having a field day with all that space. I think we'll see more of the same in the 2nd half.

edit: Pogba just scored 2 goals..I'll keep my mouth shut  Roll Eyes

same iam not believe, manchester city play in home
and leading 2-0, but result must lost 2-3 , i think in camphion league second leg meet liverpool, same big problem, and very dificult can get ticket semi final stage
the chances that Sterling waisted came over him he could finished the game at any time but Second half showed the true colors of United. Mourinho speech before second half worked for them this time but I wonder why United don't play like this the whole season not just some halftimes.I hope that Mourinho will be convinced that Pogba is an advanced midfielder that stays behind Lukaku and that the best way is to release his potential because his position is not a holding Midfielder. And I think it was a waste for Guardiola to rest some of his main players to the Championsleague game because let's face it his philosophy cost him the semiee finals.

Didn't see United comeback, damn could have made a good bet Smiley

Arsenal should have an easy time time today. Southampton is totally out of form so I am expecting a result like 2:0 or maybe 3:1. I will play Arsenal to win on a serious ticket and Arsenal to win with handicap for a beer money.
If you can see the odds at the very beginning of the second half for United to make a come back , u will die wondering why u didn't take that risk . Smell like a lucky game with referee helps and sterling as man of the match who saves de gea to conceded and misses a golden opportunity , poor sterling.

230  Economy / Speculation / Re: A signal of bull market or trap? on: April 05, 2018, 12:55:47 PM
What do you think?  Is this a bull market signal or another trick?

Given the lagging trends and the blow-off top, I'm not expecting a bull market for quite some time. Given how long everything takes now, it's prudent to expect many months if not more than a year of consolidation. Longer, if this is 2014.

I definitely don't think enough time has passed that we've seen despair. But for now, I'm still waiting for my post-bubble bull trap. The question there is will we make new lows after the bull trap? In 2012 and 2013, we did not.

A trading friend of mine (who generally leans permabear) is partial to this bullish wedge:

If $6k support broken , I'll even call it bearish . The previous momentum of comeback to $7k are a real bullish for me personally but due unforeseen reasons it's turned around until we are on the deeper line now since yesterday night.
Confusing moment , even altcoins mostly follow Bitcoin trends to go down instead run into opposite direction.
Just hold my breath and forget the loss for a while now.
231  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are Bitcoin miners still good to go? on: April 05, 2018, 09:30:32 AM
Because it costs so much electricity, several countries have imposed restriction on mining activity?

no you are mistaken because of a lot of FUD in the media. there were no several countries ever! what happened was that a tiny place in New York State started planning for some restrictions on usage of electricity and that news was exaggerated in less than a day into a big FUD.

you don't have to worry about miners they are making their profit (with or without your worrying!) thanks to the way bitcoin is designed (difficulty and all that) and also not to mention the potential of growth that bitcoin has.
I've heard about that. Exaggerated indeed. Mining would always ptofitable as long as you do a right calculation , a great skill to see an opportunity like when you've mined Bitcoin usually miner sell it all due the cost that need to be cover up soon to restart the business and instead you sell it all , hold some whenever you see a great potential ahead.
Normal thing indeed when you sell you mined coin all at once , think about how if you put it as an investment for longer time , your electricity cost would get covered sooner or later , that is why you better start mining with extra money in your pocket.
232  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: April 05, 2018, 08:08:43 AM
The dice jackpot is getting pretty big, almost 6BTC.

I've been spinning the mid week madness for over a month now, no one has won it yet  Cheesy

Last win 21st February.

I hunt for it as well few hours ago but still no luck till losing all my balance (not much), Wednesday is always the best time to hunt the jackpot as we get bigger chance than other days although our luck does not care about it. You were lucky enough to hit it once some time ago.
At the current jackpot amount, we will win more than 1btc with the lowest bet amount (100 satoshi) so it is obviously great amount to hunt. The most important thing is that we do not need to spend so many btc in order to be eligible for the jackpot.
Yeah, 1 BTC jackpot win with just 100 sat bet is really awesome! i haven't been going after jackpot, i'll be hunting it from the next wednesday. Smiley how does it usually goes for you? do you set automatic betting and let it run for the whole day?
Here I tell you a little secret how to win it , just think and play against what other people do. I believe that mostly chase the jackpot with a super tiny amount as you said then you better to try bigger amount  Grin , works every time for me . Now let's get started and see who's win it finally.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any pvp betting game? on: April 05, 2018, 07:49:45 AM
There are several player vs player betting platform just like onehash where you can bet on different matches and even political events against other players. It's just like how you used to bet on match with your buddy at home..

Odds are set with respect to total amount in bets placed in both side of the event.
One hash yeah it's a sports betting based on pvp , can't see any other games there just sports isn't it? And look at how the betting volume every day , every week an event held I can only see below 0.1 Bitcoin wagered for both sides, it's lack of interest as I said many times before.
234  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: little note of trading bitcoin on: April 04, 2018, 09:25:30 PM
i'm new at bitcoin trading
i have read this little note of bitcoin trading someware

Bitcoin up = altcoin down
Bitcoin down = altcion down
Bitcoin stable = altcoin moon

is it true? can i use it for a guide in trading?
and why Bitcoin can greatly affect to other coins
i know bitcoin is the king, legend, the first but is it possible just because of that?
Choose whatever you want and which guide that makes you feel comfortable. I just think it's the matter pure of Bitcoin supply and demand that stand under decentralization , no one will never ever know what could happened later in crypto. We can't really just say that there's a pattern like what you mentioned above. Too easy to guess and people might could do the same thing at once.
235  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINROYALE.COM • Provably Fair • 1 BTC Bonus • 10% Casino Rebate on: April 04, 2018, 08:45:46 PM
Hey, how is it going with your affiliate program? "Refer a friend" says "coming soon"... how does the plan look?

send an email to support and we will give you the details to our referral program.
It's a new affiliate system victor? Why you can't provide the detail publicly by the way? Last time I get a very little percentage only. Really poor affiliate system it was. But I'll just listen into it to see is it worth to try or not.
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin in april on: April 04, 2018, 08:15:32 PM
Bitcoin has experienced at least a 50% drop in Q1 of 2018. That is a huge market downturn. In the last month alone it experienced about 65% drop (from around $11K to $7k)... Taking into consideration, we can assume for at April that the drop will not be as sharp as the previous months but there would still me some drop. I'd estimate at least a 30% drop in prices come the end of the month. It's not good news, but looking at the charts, this is very likely to happen.
Technically Bitcoin shows bullish since few weeks ago , so the current drop are just a fake one to eliminate some opportunist investor . Simply by analyzing the day moving average for example you'll find out how useful it is to make things easier to predict , to get what you want in trading and that is a profit of course. April should be a right time to eliminate people for a while and bounce back more than ever.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 04, 2018, 07:50:22 PM
While Chelsea will need major revamp like Arsenal the team is no where near last season you cannot belleive that they were champions especially when they go against big teams.

One bad season and people judge chelsea? Every team will have their own bad season, if you are not a fans then you should stop judging them. For me their performance was good but tottenham was better. THe true fans are those who stay with the club at the bad times, not the one that keep rooting for them when they win the league

wrong is coach not player
why must sell diego costa and replace only younger player alvaro morata
alvaro morata is not enough replace diego costa

To be honest with you , I only understand 50 % of what you are trying to say but Alvaro Morata is a good player. He is still young and Conte see that he has potential. The next transfer window probably will be a good chance for Chelsea to bring in more striker if they feel that Morata is not enough but to be honest, his performance is still under average
I bet morata wouldn't find his success at Chelsea or any other English premier league , he should stay at juventus , in serie A , perfectly match for him with his playing style , holding the ball and finish it smartly not just with the strength and anger like Costa .

239  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin going moon starting from June. Don't sale your Bitcoin right now !! on: April 03, 2018, 06:54:51 PM
i really hope so but OP's comment is a completely random guess based on nothing.

this downtrend will only be reversed if price reaches the bottom and lasts there for a while like all previous times. or it will reverse if we see a big good news like another Japan news about mass adoption of bitcoin as a currency.
Nothing more than just an over optimistic crypto enthusiast , no one should believe in this. Even more , later on June Google planned to end / block crypto ads , yeah completely wipe them all. So rather than the price start going up , it should dropped due the fear . That's the fundamentals.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jackpot...... on: April 03, 2018, 06:34:55 PM
March became my lucky month in gambling sites, I won 2 jackpots that made me feel shock a little bit.

My first one was 0.00763365 btc won, and my big one is 2.46873821 eth...
Nice hand france! I bet you've been targeting to hit the jackpot right?
How about you did you experience to won Jackpot while playing at your favorite gambling site?
Not yet coming on my hand but soon I know it will come with crypto gambling sites.

What crypto is this?
Sorry? What crypto?? My screenshot shows a winning of 100x multiplier , which means I've got an unexpected winning with that high odds (it's below 0.1 percent to win that bet) so basically it was a jackpot. Oh and yeah I play at coinroyale .
