they provided no explanation...pretty much just said no, sorry, wont give it to you, neener neener neener.
ive started looking at brute forcing the ssh password knowing that some keywords will probably be "inno" "t1t2t3" "a9" based on previous innosilicon passwords but probably wont have much luck....
Maybe someone can have a look at the firmware?

I think that the A9 will get a performance update at some point.
But I also think that the flooding started now. I would not buy any units from the recent batch at that price, since they will send the 2nd unit in September. I think the difficulty will moon then because Z9 minis, Z9s and all the A9 will hit the network. Also dome projects may fork then. ROI at a pricepont of 9999$ + customs and shipping will be difficult.

Does anyone find that performance mode is actually any faster?
I don't see any difference between it and balanced.
The power draw is exactly the same from the wall which leads me to suspect it's not implemented yet.
If you watch the minor logs it ramps up the clock speed to 1250 and stops on both settings:
Jul 16 22:53:55 InnoMiner mcompat_lib[26727]: A1 PLL Clock = 1248MHz Jul 16 22:53:55 InnoMiner mcompat_lib[26727]: A1 = 1230,352 Jul 16 22:53:55 InnoMiner mcompat_lib[26727]: A1 PLL Clock = 1224MHz Jul 16 22:53:55 InnoMiner mcompat_lib[26727]: chain 2 set PLL Lv.355 success Jul 16 22:53:56 InnoMiner mcompat_lib[26727]: chain 0 pll 1250 finished Jul 16 22:53:56 InnoMiner mcompat_lib[26727]: chain 1 pll 1250 finished Jul 16 22:53:56 InnoMiner mcompat_lib[26727]: chain 2 pll 1250 finished
I can confirm that. It does not make any difference between these modes.

Hi. Can some one please help. I have been using my Baikal X10 for 4 month, some how the web turn White and the Baikal X10 are not mining. SO i Flash the SSD using Img from the web. after replug i can no longer find my Baikal X10 on network ant more. i did restart my router many time. at the Back of the Baikal X10 seems to be working ( blue LED is ON)
Pon
Hey mate, just quick: -Check cables. -Check PSU / take one you know all lanes are working. -Completely power off and restart. -Find IP of miner on router also try Baikal monitor: https://github.com/baikalminer/tools-Try SD card from working miner. If nothing works, most likely there is a problem with your control board.

Because if you go into the kernel log it says only detect temp upto 82.. that means it could be at 110 and its only detecting up to 82
Why does it only detect temps up to 82°? Is it only the specific firmware with the specific miners? Because not all behave the same. Also: Why does the temperature go over 100° on stock settings from the fixed firmware? edit: seems fine to me: do read temp on Chain[5] Chain[5] Chip[62] TempTypeID=55 middle offset=31 Chain[5] Chip[62] local Temp=79 Chain[5] Chip[62] middle Temp=92 Done read temp on Chain[5] do read temp on Chain[6] Chain[6] Chip[62] TempTypeID=55 middle offset=30 Chain[6] Chip[62] local Temp=74 Chain[6] Chip[62] middle Temp=88 Done read temp on Chain[6] do read temp on Chain[7] Chain[7] Chip[62] TempTypeID=55 middle offset=29 Chain[7] Chip[62] local Temp=77 Chain[7] Chip[62] middle Temp=90 Done read temp on Chain[7] set FAN speed according to: temp_highest=92 temp_top1[PWM_T]=92 temp_top1[TEMP_POS_LOCAL]=79 temp_change=4 fix_fan_steps=2 set full FAN speed... FAN PWM: 100 read_temp_func Done!

report:
my single a9 is running stable at >50ksol/s. 10% fan speed right now, not too loud.
good build quality. easy to setup. no complaints so far.
Same, wondering if there's a chance they'll release firmware with option to increase clock speed (e.g like the Bitmain z9 minis.) Temps seem to suggest there's some thermal headroom. Maybe they will release a higher clocked version. Like the D9.

I heard that someone say that downgrading to november firmware can fix some issue like wrong temp reading and other miner firmware issues.
The bad thing on overclocking miner without proper air circulation or cooling device your miner can exceeds higher temp that can lead to higher temp protection.
Yeah, I know that. But given the limited usage time of the miners, you should squeeze out any hash as long as they are profitable. There is the November firmware which should be the recent: Antminer-S9-all-201711171757-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gz And I am usind this one from may for the two miners that run 16TH: Antminer-S9-all-201705031838-650M-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gz Are there any else?

I dont know about your temp readings but i overclocked all of my S9's and ran the for a week clocked at 15 Th, what i do know is that the temp readings of 82 that i had were 100% false, they must have been closer to 100 or more.. so i thought i want to keep them running for longevity so i put them back also to Autotune.. i am in the UK and when the ambient temp drops like winter time then il re flash them and clock them up hope that helps
I found out that the two S9 14TH that were ordered on 24th of march are able to run at 85° @ 16,1 TH. The four S9 that were ordered on 5th of april are not working properly with the fixed frequecy firmware. Can anybody confirm? The two overcloced seem fine. Why do you suspect that the readings are wrong?

Yes, the price has dropped very much, learn to look forward to never trust a Chinese company again. They fuck everyone The problem is, that too many people are hyped by cryptomining, even people who dont have any idea about crypto in detail. You can see that because there are a lot of really "simple" questions in chats and threads about basics that everybody should know before buying an ASIC. If the community would think and calculate a bit more, the difficulties would not get messed up so badly because nobody would buy 3rd and 4th batches.... even 2nd batches at the given prices. ASIC producers would not make so much easy money and lose the incentive to flood markets with mass ASICs.

Umm, guys? I just started to try to overclock my S9s from different batches. On one 14TH model from march or so I applied the fixed frequency firmware and ramped the frequency now up to 750 MHz so far. No significant HW errors, hashrate is over 16.2 TH at 85°C chip temperature. Are the chips really capable to do so much more?
Interesting: Tried a second S9 from the same batch. On the fixed frequency firmware temps go up to 105° C on default 650 MHz. Flashing back the autotune Edit: 3 of 4 S9 14TH get over 100° after flashing fixed freq. firmware. Any idea why? One even showed 132°. I dont know if that is correct at all. I did not wait and stopped the miner by deleting the pools and flashed the autotune FW again.

What was the initial price?
|
|
|
Well if that was their plan then they are failing miserably. Their ASIC is inefficient and expensive, and the price of the coin has been tanking.
I think that the ones who wanted to make profits are already out... And even if it is an inefficient ASIC, they sold their batches.

Hello! Is it loud? Do you think it is worth buying? Who received awards with Antpool? UUPOOL how are you set up?
It is loud. And depending on your elecricity costs, a B3 is worth 50-100$ in my opinion. Not more! Btw. I still did not get any Bitcoin Cash refund that Bitmain promised.

I observed mineority stock. Once they went from 1400 something to under 1000 over nightm after a short period of 0 stock. Now they went from 150 to 0 suddenly. Maybe some big order, maybe they come back up.

I dont want to spread negativeness, but did you ever think about the next level scam Bitmain did with the B3? Step 1) Create a new simple algo, give it a special theme like AI. Make it easy to build an efficient ASIC for it. Step 2) Create a Coin for that algo and grab your premine. Also buy and HODL. Step 3) Promote it. Step 4) Build some ASICs, sell them and make extra money. Step 5) Sell your HODL coins when price rises and get back your invest times 100. Step 6) Stop caring. Genius. You get crazy amounts of your own coins, create ASICs and make even more money by selling them and by doing so, parallely increase your coin prices and popularity. And then sell.

Nicehash reports a correct total sol rate but the individual miner rate is too low. The beta firmware showed correct values on nicehash but wrong in the miner. Profit and total hash seems the same. Since it feels better to see correct values on nicehadh, i might go back to beta.
Nicehash for 2 A9 shown following hashrate for firmware 6/30 Equihash 37575.42 Sol/s 928.41 Sol /s (2.41%) 8192 7 USA Equihash 33348.49 Sol/s 1044.46 Sol /s (3.04%) 8192 7 USA total 72kH/s looks too small total.... Andaris how much kH/s you have on nice... I have between 1000 and 50000 for each showing with newest firmware. But the total accepted shows 90000 up to 110000. And the progit matches with the expected. So its fine. Whats your daily profit thats paid out? And what does the combined accepted speed say?

Noticed new firmware on homepage? Works fine, did not notice anything except it shows now correct hashrate in miner.

I might be interested in these as long as a escrow is used. I'm currently looking around for these, and have contacted a few users. I won't deal with you outside of this forum so won't be contacting you via your email. However, if you are willing to accept a trusted escrow then we might be able to work out a deal. What sort of price are you looking to fetch if I were to buy all 10 of them?
Sold several coupons, rated and unrated on this forum. Never used escrow. I just dont scam. I dont really know exactly how the escrow system works, but I read, you can get scamed this way as a seller. Sorry. If you were faster, I donated some left over coupons some days ago that expired end of june
