222  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Are ponzi games still a thing? on: December 13, 2014, 02:27:31 PM
Like this? https://coincontroller.com/how-to-play
i doubt about the ponzi games, seems like scammer :x
Thanks for pointing that, but they aren't really being direct and transparent that is indeed a ponzi gambling game. Ponzicoin.co, does that ring a bell for anyone???
223  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $105 Starbucks Cards for $35! Accepting BTC, LTC, Paypal, and Venmo! on: December 13, 2014, 02:01:45 PM
Thanks for reopening. I will definitely make sure to buy some cards in the near future.
224  Bitcoin / Project Development / Are ponzi games still a thing? on: December 13, 2014, 12:46:32 AM
I remember a while ago ponzi gambling games were all over the place, now I can't find a single one. They were quite fun, but why did they go down?
If anyone is interested, I would start up one.
225  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] (Staff Only) Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: December 12, 2014, 05:04:55 AM
I agree that gambling shouldn't be the only 3 point. There could be some other sections that are also relevant to this. Marketplace, maybee digital goods would be a good place.
226  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Amazon gift cards on: December 12, 2014, 03:58:53 AM
Any proof of these cards? Like receipts, or a conversation on how you got them? Here on bitcointalk there is an unbelievable amount of scams with gift cards. Also, if you obtained them legitimately, why would you cut your profits by 30% in the loss?
227  Economy / Gambling / Re: Live Chat in Gambling Sites on: December 12, 2014, 02:40:06 AM
Some of the reasons people choose X gambling site over Y, is the community. Primedice has a great chat, with peoplealways there, and you eventually get to know them. Same with luckyb.it, I see the same people on there, and I like to talk to them once a day or so, and that is the reason I keep coming back to it. Also, sometimes I just come there to chat, but eventually after seeing all the bets, I make a bet, effectively bringing business and making me use there project. If I were to run a gambling site, this would be the first thing I would add. It is completely necessary.
228  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] (Staff Only) Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: December 12, 2014, 02:36:29 AM
I've completely missed out on this. Interesting deal indeed, the idea is great.
However I do not agree with the ones saying that Off-topic shouldn't be worth anything. If you really look at it, there sometimes tend to be great discussions of value in it. However, posts like in that thread where you only post a single image, or word games should be nullified.

Now that I realize it, off-topic is probably more valuable in terms of post quality than games and rounds. Off-topic has some pretty good discussions in it, but I see why they don't pay. Some have nothing to do with bitcoin, but games and rounds has things like giveaways, and sometimes are related to gambling so I see the logic there.
229  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: December 11, 2014, 06:19:46 AM
Stunna just updated the primedice sig campaign thread with information about the new point system:
Here's the forum sections and what they will be 'worth' for posting in. This is relevant to the decided payout for your user group. As in if your a full member and your getting 0.0009 per post, 3 points will be 0.0009, 2 points will be 0.0006 and 1 point will be 0.0003.

Campaign is still not open yet, just letting everyone know the values of sections beforehand!

Hope that makes sense!

I am pleased with this new system, it will definitely help primedice in terms of advertising, they are specifically targeting gambling forums, instead of wasting money on some giveaway threads. Some negative impacts of this, is that the gambling threads will now be a lot more popular, possibly taking away some volume and presence in the gambling threads, since so many more people will be posting there now. If bitcointalk allowed ads which could track impressions and CTR that would help, but obviously thats not there yet, we can only estimate impressions.

I agree, off-topic should be worth nothing. I am very excited to partake in this new point system, and I hope that I am included in the next signature campaign. I've been a part of the other primedice signature campaigns for a couple of months, and since someone confirmed that Primedice would be creating another signature campaign, I decided not to take part in any other signature campaigns, as none would be as trustworthy and consistent as the one I had been a part of. I think Stunna's example of for full member 0.0009 0.0006 0.0003 rates was similar to the previous campaign, if the post limit is still 400. With this being divisible by 3, I would think that 0.0015 0.001 and 0.005 would be likely there as the maximum rate, possibly for legendary and hero. 0.0012 0.0009 and 0.0006 would be likely for senior, and the amount I stated before would be likely for full. For lessers I think something like 0.0006 0.0003 and 0.0001 would be likely.
I am excited to see the terms of the new campaign, and I hope that I can be a part of it
I just saw stunnas post being updated about the automatic checking, this is a great idea to be able to incorporate the post system, but I think the actual pots content should be logged somewhere where you can quickly skim over it and look for any bad posts, and then add a red flag next to them to decide further auction, whether it be banning the user (extreme cases), or just not paying for that specific post.
231  Economy / Gambling / Re: Live Chat in Gambling Sites on: December 10, 2014, 04:00:50 AM
Almost all popular dice sites have live chat. Sorted based on chat activity currently afaik:

PrimeDice.com
Just-Dice.com (CLAM)
BitDice/DogeDice/RedDice/LiteDice
PRCDice.eu
win88.me
peerbet.org/dice
dicenow.com (pretty dead chat)
Don't forget luckyb.it, but you said dice so I assume this is just dice sites.

233  Economy / Gambling / Re: Live Chat in Gambling Sites on: December 10, 2014, 02:52:19 AM
Very important. If there is a community to talk to while betting, it makes it much more fun. For example, I go on luckyb.it, just to talk, and eventually I make a bet just for some fun. It brings back business and makes the experience a lot more fun.

Hilariousandco, do previous members have any preference on joining the new campaign? Or is it just first come first serve?

Provably fair simply cant be cheated, thats why its called "Provably fair". If nonces are skipped, you will know. If there is one actual example of primedice cheating, they would die instantly.
