221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card counting in black jack on: September 20, 2020, 07:39:59 AM
Every casino considers card counting in their possibilities of losing their money and gamblers win their bets.
For this reason, they are changing the decks every so and then and they are making the rounds so fast that your mind would not have the ease in counting the cards.
This becomes more difficult if you play online as you cannot expect what the deck is going to drop.

done deal - he is back on the island again!!
Gareth Bale

Spurs bring back Gareth Bale - Reguilón also announced

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spurs-bring-back-gareth-bale-reguilon-also-announced/view/news/370962

Finally, Gareth Bale officially joined the Spurs again, although on loan. But this is good news for Spurs supporters. With 31 years old,
I believe Bale can still contribute to the Spurs. In his official twitter, Bale announced that he would soon return to White Hart Lane stadium,
and Bale looks very happy with his return.

News of Gareth Bale's re-joining also coincides with the inauguration of the transfer of Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid. So Bale and
Reguilon can play again as a team, The news of Tottenham's transfer made their fans forget about the Spurs defeat in the first Premier
League match.

Bale was so unprofessional player and the staff in Real Madrid has realized that.
He was staying all those year in Real Madrid for nothing, he wasn't playing any match and he was just getting the money even if he knew that he is not in the coach plans. If he was interested in his career he should join another team - away from Real - years ago.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 20, 2020, 07:33:21 AM
Celtics got one back. It seems Marcus Smart taking his frustration to his teammates after losing game 2 worked hehe. I've read a lot of negative reactions to what he did but that just shows how badly he wants to win. Great players like Jordan and Bryant (RIP) have done more or less the same thing.

Boston got one back that helps them stay alive. If Miami was making the 3-0 things would be very difficult for Boston.
It is obvious that Boston won this game in the first period where the score was 10 points on their favor.
Miami tried to recover this difference they only managed to make a comeback in the 4th period but it was already too late for them.

Verona vs Roma is the interesting match at night. night
Roma has some serious absences with the most serious one being this of Pastore but I believe that they are going to be capable of getting those 3 points in this away match.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 19, 2020, 02:58:06 PM
Ronaldo is a lone wolf.

Messi is the leader of the wolf pack.

A lone wolf doesn't give af about what others think. He does it anyway. (look at all those bicycle kicks and other circus moves r7 did)

A wolfpack leader depends on the other pack members' abilities. If they suck, the pack dies from hunger. (like how Barcelona and Argentina did.)

Messi has many times won games for Barcelona by his own.
Even if the other players on the team are not of form and cannot score, such as Suarez, he got some chances on him and have Barcelona the win. I cannot say the same thing for Ronaldo. If the team is on bad form it would be hard for him to win a game by his own.

looks like Kloppo does not get enough and continues shopping... Grin
Ozan Kabak - is he the next transfer to lfc?!

Liverpool want Ozan Kabak - Schalke want slightly below market value

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/liverpool-want-ozan-kabak-schalke-want-slightly-below-market-value/view/news/370931

Liverpool has made some signings during this transfer window but no player can be considered as the next star of the team.
I think that Klopp tries to find new talents and test them. The good players are going to stay and the others are going to be sent on loan. Kabak is not a star, he is just a good player.

Wtf is going on at the Everton vs WBA match?  I'm not watching the game but it seems like there's a few LOL_Ancelloti moments in there.
5-2 and hat trick from Lewin,, just how bad are West Brom defensively that they allowed this guy to score 3 goals? LOL  Grin

at least my 5 fold is off to a good start https://i.ibb.co/ySj2ZQy/acca.png

surely Arsenal and Leeds will get the job done, no?  Smiley

Westtbrom had some serious problems in he defensive part.
Especially during 50-65 minutes they made a lot of mistakes - just consider that they conceded the 3 out of 5 goals during this time period.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 19, 2020, 02:50:50 PM
i can't believe that werder bremen shows the same kind of performance as they did last season in the home games (halftime 0-2 vs hertha bsc berlin)
somehow they haven't learned anything... Embarrassed

Okay, let's try to be calm as it is the first game on the league.
However of Werder do not change the way they play and continue the same results as they previous season, I strongly believe they are going to get demoted
And it would be a loss for the German football to see a historical team like Werder playing on the second division.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 18, 2020, 06:37:45 PM
Bayern is already ahead with 1 goal in the very first 5 minutes played.
It seems that they are going to be unbeaten this season as well and it would be difficult for their opponents to win them.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 18, 2020, 06:33:32 PM
Chelsea are adding a lot of players in a short time, it’s difficult to buy so many & expect them to gel straight away.
It might take a while to build team chemistry & know each others game.

That's why friendly games come to play.
They have all the time to get used to each other in trainings and friendly games.
Chelsea is neither the first nor the last team that has signed so many played in one transfer window. The have to succeed as other teams have done in the past.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does the Lightning Network need to become mainstream? on: September 08, 2020, 02:27:48 PM
LN is pretty much a dead way of transacting, not many people use it and I dont see it being mainstream in future, the technology is weak but the idea is good, won't have success.

There are a lot of people that use Lighting Network especially those who believe in Bitcoin.
It will become mainstream only if Lightning network is going to be easily used by anyone (for example if my grandpa is able to use LN) then it will be a mainstream way of payment method.
232  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Recent summary about corovirus disease on: September 07, 2020, 03:46:47 PM
The number of infections in not a rate to be considered as how much India has a serious problem with Covid.
India has a huge population and it is normal to see them being in the second place behind the US.
The most odd part is how China is not showing any more numbers regarding Covid...
233  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Politics and health care in Africa on: September 07, 2020, 03:37:36 PM
The biggest and worst reason is the Corruption.
Politicians spend money for themselves in Africa and this is why the do not allocate a lot of budget to the Health Care system.
I am not living in Africa but I think that this is a regular situation in many countries in the continent.
234  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does MEDIA affect you? A poll on: September 07, 2020, 03:35:51 PM
Even if you believe that youa re not affected by the media you possibly are.
If you are reading the news you cannot be so out of it and do not believe what they are talking about.
The saddest part is that they affect your psychology negatively.
235  Other / Off-topic / Re: Buying a Dog on: September 07, 2020, 03:30:22 PM
Personally id go with a corgi they look cute asf they are quite expensive though but they honestly like so cute and nice to have that would defo be my personal pick.

If you want to have this dog into an apartment then it would be a good choice.
If you are living outdoors then you might want to buy a bigger dog in order to let it be able to run around and not just sit under a tree shadow.
236  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless Economy: Is Society ready for transformation? on: September 07, 2020, 03:27:36 PM
Maybe it will takes a long time before it happens, there are more problems that should be given priority to focus on India. There are richer and developed countries but still not implemented cashless economy.  Maybe at this time it is not yet possible for India to adopt that kind of transformation.  But if they persevere and the majority continue and support the change they want, they may be able to do it gradually.

It is coming slowly in all countries around the world.
Just think of how many people was paying with their card for their purchases before 5 years.
Now even the elderly is paying with cards for their groceries with is a huge step toward cashless adoption.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: September 07, 2020, 03:23:46 PM
Messi can play well till his fourties if he want but I am not sure he will play well in Premier League after his 35s.
I doubt if he will play till forties. 38 may be the last age for him to play in a football match. But it is purely our speculation, we don't know what he already plans for his career in the old age. But I disagree to underestimate him to play in Premier League. Never judge that he won't play well till he tries to play there for one season at least.

I have seen it before happening in English and Italian leagues, with players at 40 playing very well. Obviously they are not fast but these players never tend to be about speed in the first place so Messi should do well for many more years, obviously injuries might set in later but he is a well managed player with good diet and exercise, he will be fine:)

Messi is no longer as fast as he used to be and he also helps his team's defence much less than other players in the team.
It's far from the demands of modern football and can only work if the whole team is subseauted to that one player.
However, it has been shown in recent years that such a system no longer works and that Barcelona doesn't win trophies like it once did, especially the Champions League.

Messi is still fast that he hasn't the endurance to make a lot of sprints.
He can still make the difference in this team due to his amazing technique.
The reason why Barca do not win a lot of title isn't Messi but the problem is in other positions.
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 07, 2020, 03:17:36 PM
I started to watch the F1 race yesterday expecting another boring race but what an awesome race has been.I am very sad for Carlos Sainz as he needed just one more lap to win the race for McLaren considerinf their last win was Canada 2012 with Jenson Button but congrats to the winner anyway.

We witnessed the most interesting race of the season or maybe more.
Gasly got his first ever win in F1 and it was very odd to see an Alpha Tauri on the top of the podium.
Next race Hamilton is going to be the winner again!

Leo Messi returns to Barca training after 11 days long break, however a great news for the catalonians. Feeling great to see him back in action since he was asking to leave the club. What do you think, this is win-win situation for both or not?

It is not a win win situation. I would describe it as a lose-lose.
Messi do not want to stay at the club and he will be demotivated to play competitively there.
Also Barcelona fans do not want them as he has declared that he want to leave showing disrespect to the club.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 07, 2020, 03:13:26 PM
This season is going to be interesting. Obviously the top 2 I think will be the same as last season but not sure of the order. Chelsea will all their tops signings may push them for a while but can't see lampard out witting Pep or Klopp. Fancy Chelsea to lift 3rd. Then there are a host of teams fighting for the 4th spot. Man United, spurs, arsenal, possibly wolves. Think Leeds will surprise some people this year and push for top 6 but will be interesting to see if Bielsa burns them out as the pace in the prem is much higher.

Chelsea is building a good and young team.
It would be a difficult season for them in order to build their bonds this season.
The results of this signings might be visible from the next season and who knows why not winning the EPL title in the end.
