The reason that I am not bothered about InstantX and that I think Darkcoin should not be wasting its time on it is that point of sale systems (POS) will never be be doing direct transactions with the blockchain. That will be taken care of by payment processors. The blockchain is a clearing system that is at least 1 tier away from point of sale. It doesn't matter if blockchain confirmation time gets down to 5 seconds, it still will never be able to compete with a buffered point of sale system that can instantly reverse the packet of cornflakes that the cashier accidently rung through from the person behind you in the queue.

My posts about this disappeared in the forum outage, basically I gave notice that I would be reducing them so as to lower my risk on the exchanges, they appeared to have done their job at the time as all the trading was occurring well above them, so I left 100 BTC bid at 0.0666 on Cryptsy, plus quite a few bids higher up and some on finex, I forgot how much, quite a bit got sold in to with the issues of the last few days and I was afk traveling so couldn't reinforce the walls and anyway didn't want to risk moving coins even if I could, but there's bids of mine for at least $10,000 left on finex atm. So far I've been unable to update my wallet and I'm not sure if I'll put a wall back on finex, the price is staying above my floor so it probably isn't really necessary, the wall on Cryptsy I would definitely keep topped up if it got sold in to, there are still approx 500 BTC set aside for this if necessary. I had to double check my screen for smudges, just in case there was a . there somewhere. lol like I said, otohcoin  He's pretty damn cool too! If you are going to be trapped inside of a *couple of forums with someone for a few years we certainly could have done worse. |

I'm having an issue with v0.11.0.13-g90ad641-beta (64-bit). (Win zip file version).
Earlier versions were crashing for me today but this one synced up fine after using a December wallet backup and clearing out peers etc.
The issue is that most of my wallet balance has disappeared - yikes!
Specifically, I see three transactions, dated Jan 21 and 22 that seem to account for the missing amount. They are labelled "Darksend Denominate" and I'm guessing they were legitimately part of a recent Darksend Mixing episode that had looked normal before today, but it appears that the post-mixing return of the balance has disappeared.
Any thoughts on this?

Getting conflicted transactions. If i load up wallet and send one tx, its fine. Try to send second and its a conflicted transaction. -zapwallettxes erases the conflicted transaction, then I can send one, next is conflicted. I think? Gonna stop trying to work around it before I ruin something.
edit: forgot to mention i also tried re-downloading the blockchain which didn't change much. But, these new windows zip files have all these extra files, could it be related to downloading the blockchain using a 32 bit at one point, and then trying to run on a later 64 bit client? the newer releases have included both 64 and 32 bit and i havent been paying much attention to that.

Feel totally free to ignore this advice, but declaring when you are mixing compromises your own anonymity, which you may or may not care about, but since you are more identifiable it also weakens the anonymity of the people you are mixing with. Considering i am fairly sure no single person owns 1500 masternodes it is a very small point, but it looks like I am the guy who is pointing it out this time around. Not telling you what to do though, stick your dick in the mashed potatoes for all i care. The more you know! I'm just mixing for fun...so no real problem there. I'm sorry if I compromised anyone else..won't do it from now on. On another note, DirectBet wasn't good to me today Don't be sorry hombre, was just a good opportunity to remind everyone. I find it really hard to believe that it's random... Something like that is like 1/million Actually man that might be indicative that it is closer to true random. As I understand it, usually when you give humans the option of choosing something "random" its actually a contrived algorithm to appear random to us. True random seems fake to humans because it has occurrences of lots of repeat numbers and weird shit like that, and since we are evolved from apes our brains were totally not needed in that category they short circuit and it doesn't appear random to us. I had been having enormous trouble mixing up until v11. With v11 mixing has been incredibly fast, I am extremely pleased as an investor but would also be happy even if I was trying to only use the service and move on. I did have some issues with it getting stuck and have to -zapwallettxes, and one evening i was in a loop of getting hit for .1s for a bit. But to be honest I really do not care about those at the moment because mixing is lightning fast, finally. I think that guy is confused and I am confident the other two hangups will get taken care of pretty quick. Really nice job devs.
