There is another way for this thing, you can build a zcash GPU-miner and sell it to the public, maybe you will get a lot of money, for sure I will buy one if it's not expensive.
Miner with built in fee would be the best idea, something like CDM. |

why you not use usb riser ?
If you can insert 4 cards per rig, it fits into nice pc case and temperatures are in acceptable range - forget about risers. That build is safer. |

4GB is better for mining as it has less memory, so the power consumption is low. Most algorithms do not use 8GB.
Reselling value will be higher for 8GB version, gamers prefer more VRAM. |

480 is a full chip, gives more possibilities in other algos, and difference in power consumption is not such a big problem. If price is the same take faster card.

What to do? i got 6 shapphire nitros 480s orderd . Better get 480 ref cards and some coolers and wait for modded rom for them instead of the nitros?
Keep your nitros and wait, 8pin and nice double fans are worth the money.
Have never needed to do that, but yup, if you have onboard vga, or another GPU, you can still easily flash your badly flashed or bricked card. (If it gets detected though :p)
Well, i had to do this once or twice, always got replacement or refund. Two words about the BIOS: wunderbar job When you are done with power measurements, could you check if risers doesn't catch fire in dual mining? Or did you inserted card directly into motherboard slot? |

How does warranty handles this stuff?
It does not. Flash card with stock BIOS before sending for warranty and you will be ok. |

did anyone test the R7 370 ROM and can confirm it? I've got 2 rigs with 12 cards, but at the moment I don't have the time to flash one to confirm it's working.

If we are talking about reference design board then yes. If you are going to buy non reference board (ASUS, MSI, POWERCOLOR) then there shouldn't be a problem.

But what when i want to dual mine, or mine some other coin (with higher power consumption)? I am not going to pay for a card that can't achive full possible hashrate because some amateur decided that 6 pin connector would look nice and pcie specfication does not apply him.

Hey I already had a nitro rom for 380 Shared it with a few people privately. They're all very happy with it Getting 23.5Mh out of it Will share it later. Got a rom for 370 cards as well.  Awesome! I knew you will get nice results. Cheers |
