I think we should just make 10% mandate donation for every claim when claiming. It is simple and fair and guarantees the amount for the foundation and deals. Then we don't need to worry about any uncertainty and can quickly move forward to work on the real world business adoption of iota.

This is a good idea. 7.5% will be enough this covers the foundation and big deal goals.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RAWX altcoin exchange (former mcxNOW) to reopen soon | see a preview here on: May 13, 2016, 11:26:51 AM
Good luck with the exchange!  Smiley
I have a few questions:
1. How far are you in the development process? When can we expect the exchange to open trading?
2. What will be the trading fees?
3. Will you offer feeshares for sale before the exchange launches? 100k is the max amount of feeshares iirc, will they all be in circulation (by previous mcxnow feeshare holders) when the exchange launches or is there a possibility for new people to buy shares?

What I learned so far from testing :

Do not re-use the addresses from the ICO. Use the set of addresses displayed after you claim your iota and enter the seed.

You can open as many account as you want, at the same time, by opening multiple windows.

The more transactions we do, the quicker it gets confirmed.

Also I would like to add this: Don't publish your console logs, they may contain your secret seed!

Guys let's start trading ESP on Novaexchange. It's fun to trade in a LTC market for a change.  Wink

Thank you! Is there anywhere we can see the progress of jinn hardware development or any info?

Yes, I will post a huge update as soon as we have launched IOTA, also having explanatory video made and a full website detailing the processor etc.
In short: we'll exit stealth mode soon after IOTA launch Smiley
Nice! Looking forward to the updates.  Smiley

I think there a quite a few Iota holders not aware of the foundation and it's fundraiser, we should try to reach to them. It's possible that they have joined the newsletter on Iotatoken website so maybe an email to them would be in place.

Hello Big Iota Community!

As I remember, yesterday it was last day to claim IOTA, wasn't it?

Hopefully, These Iotas are going to the Foundation/Deal, aren't it?

Have a nice weekend !

Cheers
Last I heard was that half of unclaimed Iotas go to Jinn development and half for the foundation.

235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Calling ETH TOP on: March 27, 2016, 11:12:07 AM
Is mining ETH profitable atm?
I think it's the most profitable coin currently to mine and has been for a long time.

237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How big is a whale? on: March 26, 2016, 12:27:19 PM
I would consider someone who has more than 1m to play with a whale. So about 2500 BTC.
I think only the few top altcoins should be considered here. Yes someone could be in away considered a whale when he moves
some shitcoin markets with 0.1 BTC but I stick to my 1m/2500BTC rule.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL [IOTA ]- ICO 2 -Do YOU want to buy IOTA at a reasonable price? OR BIG SCAM? on: March 26, 2016, 08:54:11 AM
The butthurt is really strong in this one.

And then the voting options jeez.

Pro tip for you:

Stop playing with altcoins and just hodl btc.

Thanks for your 'pro tip'

We've all heard the butthurt , sour grapes, ...why not try and communicate as an adult. These are the trademark statements from those involved with scams.

Re read the thread then feel free to comment.

Why not explain start with a comparison between the ico's of iota, eth, nem, lisk.

Perhaps explain why ico's are better than pow?

Just come right out with it and say why a small, under advertised ICO with no POW is the best way to go.

Once you explained that then we can just let the topic drop and iota can get to pumping their tokens from 130sats to the 4000sats they are demanding now. That is already more than ethereums rise from ipo to where it is now and it's not even out? okay.

Eth is currently at about 36,5 x ICO. Currently lowest sell order on IOTA is 0.00003333 so about 25x ICO
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LISK price speculation on: March 26, 2016, 08:39:59 AM
I believe Lisk a good chance to hit the exchange at about $1

That would mean a mc of 100m, way too high for initial value imo. Even Eth didn't start that high.
