221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value? on: October 02, 2021, 07:27:40 AM
Bitcoin is not backed by any physical asset like Gold nor by any fiat currency. It makes me wonder if I should invest/trade in Bitcoin or not?
This question is not for anyone else. but for yourself. what do you want to do with bitcoin? trading ? holding? all decisions in your hands. if you ask why people are still trading or holding bitcoin. there are many answers. like they believe prices will be much higher in the future . or volatile prices are of interest to them or something else.

223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is easier? on: September 29, 2021, 06:01:50 AM
To those who are trading consistently, I would like to ask you based on your experience.

Which is easier in making a profit, riding with the hype, or waiting until the price will dip?

Most people say that don't buy when the market is bullish, just wait until there's a price correction and the price will dip.
So with your experience, I like to know which is more effective between the two.

Personally, I prefer to wait for the price to drop. and not in a hurry to buy. because I realized even though the price is volatile . patience in determining the decision to buy is needed. better late than in a hurry. and also depends on the situation and market conditions as well.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: feel like never wanting to use crypto again on: September 29, 2021, 05:51:55 AM
to many bad experiences.

and to think that i was about to overthrow the eur and usd in favour of crypto, whenever someone would want to do the same they would have to get throught me first.
not clear what bad experience do you mean? trading ? investment? stolen? hacked ? scammed? the most important thing in my opinion do not completely trust the promises of strangers on the internet. everything will be your choice and your own decision. and be more careful with your money.  Smiley

225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are you taking the China Bitcoin Ban? on: September 29, 2021, 05:37:55 AM
Chinnese Goverment hold 194k bitcoin ? where do all those numbers come from? confiscation from the government to their citizen ? regarding your question I might not feel any impact from their regulation about bitcoin ban. maybe people from that country who have spent a lot of money investing in crypto and crypto-related industries are feeling the impact about that.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: Boost of a countries economy on: September 29, 2021, 05:34:55 AM
It wouldn't be bad idea if Y'all can share your thoughts and ideas about this from your own point of view.

Each country has a different goal for the welfare of its people and country. of building the economy. military , infrastructure . education . health and others. cannot generalize the finances of one country to another. because they have their own problems and concern which are the priorities of their respective countries.

231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT Billboard on Time Square WHAT? on: September 26, 2021, 01:35:58 AM
Take a look at this Twitter post https://twitter.com/Bassjackers/status/1438580479855366144
Isn't it a sign that NFT will be the most hyped thing in 2022-2023?

I think it's good see ads like that it can tell people what NFT is for those who are interested in the ad. and as some other users have said it may not get significant attention, but it shows the seriousness of their project. and to be honest I'm also quite interested about it. most hype thing in 2022 - 2023 ? im not sure about that but its already hype from earlier 2021.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difficulty of explaining Bitcoin to people is massive on: September 26, 2021, 01:22:15 AM
Sometimes, some peeps don't even want to get crypto related like most of my friends down here,no matter how much words you explain to them with, they'll still argue unreasonably and try to prove you wrong .
Secondly, if the person isn't a computer literate, the can never be an autumn of understanding..not at all!
In such cases, you just have to let them be
-Trojane💎

Yes, I've felt that way too. like they trying to our counter statement and sometimes just because someone understands crypto or blockchain doesn't mean they understand all the technicalities under this technology. I have never educated someone who didn't want to know. but if anyone wants to know and want to understand about it.I will be happy to explain what I understand. more just sharing and not debate.

233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you get in early on certain alts? What's your source.. on: September 26, 2021, 01:17:45 AM
Hi all,   i was wondering,   what are the top sources i should be keeping an eye on, to spot future trends such as shib and cardano?
So what 3 sources should i keep in a pinned tab, and keep my eyes on daily, to catch early coins ?

Becoming really an earlier investor in a successful project is not an easy thing. in fact a lot of that information after the coin has gone up to success. and people will hesitate to join when altcoins are successful. and i think bitcointalk and coinmarketcap are still the best places to get that information.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking To Invest $50-$100 In New Projects Any Ideas? on: September 26, 2021, 01:08:26 AM
Hello everyone and hope everyone is doing well. I am currently looking to invest in some new projects in the sum of 50-100 dollars. If you have any new or exciting projects you would like to share with us here, please post and let us know. Until next time take care.

That's too low in my opinion, but it's still an investment. but do not expect to get a significant return. maybe I will choose the new NFT games which are currently a trend and can be purchased with a low budget. compared to trading with that capital than be early investor in NFT games. and this will be your DYOR nft games.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China trying its best to get hated on: September 25, 2021, 07:34:57 AM
What's really amazing is that they don't understand that they are cutting themselves out from a super-growing market, letting all major investor taking all their money to other countries (like the mining exodus happened recently).

Maybe people's perception of bitcoin is more dominated by China is still exist today. even though the news of the rejection of crypto's existence in China has always been discussed by the crypto community, and it is possible with this to create a new view that crypto does not depend on an economy or the regulations of a particular country. if bitcoin can survive and get through news like this without making too much of an impact I think that's a good thing.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Nft hype-cyvle is over? on: September 25, 2021, 07:32:10 AM
I've been following crypto this recent days and I am surprised about the amazing hype of NFTs, some of the NFTs are selling for unimaginable amounts of money, and many have become millionaire because they are being early or by being part of the minting process.

According to Alex Thorn, from Galaxy Digital, NFTs daily trading volume has continuously declined every day after the start of September. What does this all means? Is the NFTs hype- cycle is over?

well what happened also relates to the current bitcoin price. and I think it's still reasonable, a lot of good NFTs are still in the development process and i think there is still many people wait for something new nft concept will exist in this industry. maybe it's only because of the bitcoin market conditions that have an impact on the NFT trading volume decrease compared to before.
237  Economy / Economics / Re: How has inflation affected your savings and investing? on: September 25, 2021, 06:33:37 AM
Have you had to cut down on your expenses so as to maintain the percentage of your income you allocate to savings & investing?, Or you have adjusted the percentage for savings and investing so as to accommodate and maintain your standard of living?

Well I save in various types of assets. like stocks. deposits and properties and only use the money for personal and entertainment needs. and not interested in expensive goods. so I think inflation doesn't really affect me that much at the moment. and I think the most important thing to deal with inflation is to choose a savings instrument that keeps the value the same. may have an impact on people who do not do so .

238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT hype-Who knows what the next big thing in crypto will be? on: September 25, 2021, 06:27:51 AM
Some people are spending millions of dollars on NFTs like crazy these days. They buy so-called NFT art sold out for ten million of dollars (USD) as their Avatars of social platforms.
It sounds ridiculous, which is exactly its charm.
For what I know, crypto behaves in strange and bizarre ways. First it was the ICO hype. Then came the "De-Fi" hype. And now it's the NFT hype. Who knows what the next big thing in crypto will be?

It seems that things related to smart chains or smart contract  will still be popular in the future . and NFT is currently quite hype from many investment circles. it seems that things that are investment and profitable will definitely become a trend in crypto. as previously . staking. farming. and now NFT games investment .
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the NFT hype? on: September 24, 2021, 02:45:19 PM
Im a long time in crypto and NFTs took over really fast.. do you guys think the hype will keep going?

Yes, I think this NFT Hype is still long enough. Many new projects are still in the developing stage and many people are waiting for it. like Metaverse. or game2 created via unity or something like that . and I think NFT games in the future will be more advanced than many things. compared to now.
240  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation and protecting you wealth on: September 24, 2021, 02:41:12 PM
How would you defend yourself from inflation:
It depends on the amount of assets I have. but for sure I mix real estate and cryptocurrency and bitcoin and I think if the goal is to be safe from inflation the goal is to keep the value of our wealth the same as before. because so far it seems property is safe from inflation . and as a believer in bitcoin i think bitcoin will also save from inflation.
