Switched from bittrex to binance a while back, and I'm happy I never have to use bittrex again

My only airdrop experience so far is with DeepOnion, and boy, what a rewarding coin and community!
If it is required to wear a signature it's not really an airdrop in my opinion.

Electroneum has a good marketing team. Until their mobile miner is up and running I don't see any good thing about this coin. During their second launch no one could get access to the wallets. it was a joke. The team wasn't even prepared or they were smart enough to purposely lock wallets to keep up the coin price. If the coin reached $35 it would be 0.6 the current Bitcoin Market cap. Which is highly unrealistic to happen. I would say around 0.5~0.8 by 2018 would be a fair assumption if everything is delivered by the team as promised.
Honestly, their killer feature is not much of killer. Yes, mining on mobile, so what? That's good enough reason to have, I dunno, 100M marketcap or so. I also don't really see a use case for being able to mine on a phone, and imo it is not a good enough reason for it to move up whatsoever.

I bet that almost all the erc20 token airdrops are scam, especially when their main "attraction" is speed...while every erc20 token transacts at the same speed.

whoa $700M for a shit coin, I think people are buying to make profit in the short term. Its community is one of biggest and active communities, good hype.
I think that's what everyone does with doge. Buy low, sell high and repeat

I think it is mostly because high BTC fees. Honestly, right now rather than buying more bitcoin for 1000 dollars, i rather buy some promising altcoin.
Of course the main reason is also the fact that more and more people are coming into bitcoin, or some BTC holders due to the fear that BTC will fall are buying some promising alts... All of these reasons are responsible for these bullruns we seen last days.
I think the fee's are partly at fault, but bitcoin is reaching such prices that some are diversifying. I also think some are trying to enter crypto with a little less money.

Yes, crypto world is risky, that is why i insist on investing only in quality projects with real professional team members. There a lot of useless projects that will be hard to survive.
Everyone wants to invest only in successful and reliable projects, but unfortunately they are not so easy to choose and determine the professionalism of the team, if you do not have too much experience. I think people here are happy enough to invest in scams, as long as they get some profit and when it's other people losing their money and not them.

First of all Bitcoin is not going to crash because there is largest population of the world yet to get in BTC, still a great number of people worldwide are not very well aware about Bitcoin, BTC market is Young and the increasing price of BTC is unstoppable. But IF Bitcoin crash then the era of cryptocurrency revolution will meet its end.
So what? Bitcoin has been through numerous "crashes". If it happened before it can happen again.

I also want to know why Doge coin price is high like that! Today Doge coin take place into gainer and loser thread.but I have no Doge at this moment.
Same here, I have had my eye on doge for the last couple of weeks but hadn't pulled the trigger yet.

I am holding some. But have sold off a lot as well, don't know how ripple will turn out, but I do know it will get it's pumps (and dumps).

After the initial hype, ETN is only going down and I'm not sure that have a real future. Everybody was exited about the "mobile miner", but it was just a clickbait.
Exactly how I feel about it, who needs to mine with cellphones? And why would you even want to is the big question to me.

cryptopia withdraw 1000 xby = 75 xby fee
yobit = 0.01 xby
wtf
Imagine how much money they are making with these bad practices. Seems quite lucrative. 1. Is it still working? up till 2017 Dec 04, yes, perfectly. Cryptopia BTC withdraw fee is 0.002BTC (23USD!!!) and Poloniex remained at 0.0001 (1.15USD); Meanwhile Cryptopia LTC withdraw fee is 0.02LTC (2 USD) and if you use BCH, it's 0.0008BCH (1.26USD)
2. Why LTC? Let's answer like this: Why not ETH? Because Poloniex has a minimum deposit requirement of 0.5 ETH (230USD); Why not BCH? Because of the block time - in my experience LTC is more stable and quicker than BCH at this moment. Moreover, I'm not a big fan of Roger Ver. Why not other alts? Because of liquidity and spread.
3. But LTC price on Cryptopia is worse than Poloniex? It depends on days. But generally LTC price is on a upward trend and is more stable than BCH and other alts, so the risk is manageable if you give it some patience (and if this 20USD saving is important for you).
(original post) Due to personal reasons, I decide to sell 100 onion for BTC. And I checked cryptopia.co.nz BTC withdraw fee, it's a horrible 0.001BTC
So what I did: - Exchange onion for BTC on cryptopia; - exchange BTC to LTC on cryptopia; - withdraw LTC to Poloniex; (fee is 0.002LTC) - exchange LTC to BTC; - withdraw BTC from Poloniex (fee 0.0001BTC);
And LTC-BTC exchange rate on cryptopia is often slightly lower than Poloniex (so you buy LTC cheaper and sell on Poloniex for higher), szo you gain a small delta by doing this, effectively covering all fees.
h This is very useful news that you gave me. I will use it for sure. Only now I realize how much money I have thrown away. Nice

REal unprofessional behavior from Cryptopia. Administrator behaved like a child.
Anyhow, looks to me like a good moment to double on Safex. Met Dan in person and he def is a guy who can deliver.
I am unsure. Delisting from bittrex is pretty big you will never get on it again. But delisting from both exchanges is even worse, I guess the community couldn't afford to launch an "attack" after all.

It is obvious that Bittrex has chosen the way of regulatory compliance. If you don’t like the idea of sending your id, bank statements and colonoscopy recordings to random people on internet, don’t use it. There are other options out there and hopefully decentralized exchanges will come to save the day in 2018.
This is what made me stop bittrex after being a long time "customer". It totally goes against everything crypto imho.

No just for the fact that litecoin isn't bitcoin, and it doesn't have the development bitcoin gets.

What is the deal with Tether? What assurances are there that Tether isn't creating US Tether out of thin air and running up the prices on legit cryptos?
This has been my thought as well. But everybody seems to be using it anyway.

A lot of them are coming out soon but I don't think any of them will be actually worth your while. I can try my best to cover them all but I forget with all the forks that are incoming. You have
Bitcoin Platnium Bitcoin Silver Super Bitcoin Lightning Bitcoin Bitcoin Uranium
Do you know if Bitcoin White is part of it? No as far as I can see that is some erc20 token, an erc20 token doesn't come close to what a hardfork is.

It is crazy how many we have nowadays, doing your research can save you a lot of money.

Even though it spikes up the transaction costs and generally makes for a slower network, I still like the kitties. Introduces new people to crypto.

With such higher fee, I think bitcoin will be doomed
A friend of mine (a newbie in crypto) bought $110 btc, yesterday he tried to sell for profit but blockchain was asking $98 fee out of $110. That is insane, lmao
Any new coin should need to rise up and vanquish bitcoin, like Litecoin and Dash, Bch is also good.
Oh this one again, bitcoin is doomed I agree that the fee's are getting ridiculous though.
