I think it was described in a pretty much detailed way what is wrong and that your business does not belong to a map ...

I am not sure if inventing special BIP32 versions for altcoins is a good idea.
There's no reason why you couldn't use the same BIP32 tree for all altcoins. Let's say path m/0/... for bitcoins, m/1/... for crapcoin and m/2/ for different shitcoin, etc.

What could I be doing wrong for it not to update ?
Providing Node ID makes finding an issue much easier ...

I'd just say I can't navigate to it with ipad 2, browsers (chrome & safari) always crash before full loading
This bug is already known. Unfortunately it's outside of CoinMap, so we'll have to wait until Leaflet folks or Apple folks fix it.

Any way to automatically get the data from https://lamassu.is/maps/ and put it into coinmap? It would be handy to see where all the Bitcoin ATMs are! Not sure about the data export, but if you want to put those in OSM (not just as new data source for CoinMap specifically), which I find an interesting idea, you should talk to the OSM community first. Both to establish a tagging scheme for non-fiat ATMs and also because automated imports always require discussion and planning. Also map on lamassu website is crap. Positions are not accurate, one cannot zoom it, etc.

Sounds good, but looking at the Waves Coffee house their robocoin is just "node 2516023474" - which is pretty meaningless to most people.
They should add a name tag. Or you can do it. It's a wiki afterall, right?

OpenStreetMap has tag amenity=atm for ATMs. So it should be enough just to mark ATM with this tag in addition to tag payment:bitcoin=yes ...

I love Coinmap, but I'm a little annoyed lately by more and more LTC places showing up. There's nothing wrong with that, but since I have a bookmark I have to uncheck LTC every time. Is there a way to create a bookmark that includes the "disable ltc" information or just change the site, so that the selection is saved (cookie)?
That's funny you mention it. I published a change that deselects LTC by default a couple of hours ago. Press F5 to reload the scripts. :-)

Is it possible to not rely on device random generatir, but instead directly enter 128 or 256 bit string, let say in hex like in electrum?
You can import BIP32 private node (which can be generated the way you described), but this scenario is advanced and not encouraged to do by casual user (because you need to trust your computer).

Hi. Did you start to deliver devices? Thanks!!! current plan is to start delivering in January

Yes I found this wallet file a while ago. It's encoded. There's no plaintext anywhere. ;(
Do you remember at least something about your password?

Beware. Open Street Map Foundation have abruptly stopped accepting bitcoin donations. Who knows if this lack of openness might extend to uses of their data that promote cryptocurrency, which is of course a commercial tool.
Source? I can still see bitcoin address at the bottom of the http://donate.openstreetmap.org/ page and here: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Donations ...

I have tried to add a Japanese translation. Could someone check if I used Github right? If not, I'll just e-mail the code.
It's OK. Soon it'll appear on the site.

|
|
I just merged a patch from komachi that adds localization support.
Feel free to fix the German translation or add new ones to lang folder via email or pull Github requests. Thanks!

Before risking to spam CoinMap or OSM, which of course I don't think I am doing, I prefer to ask.
It should be OK from your description.
|
|
|
The reason why I ask is because I have been keeping a record of the bitcoin total figure over the last few weeks and I don't want to include litecoin.
Yes it did. I just split the numbers into two separate fields.
