How about this volume?
*image redacted*
Big difference, eh? That's a lot of divergence! You can talk about higher USD volume when there is a higher price, but this just means lower BTC volume, which is the base asset. You wouldn't look at an APPL chart and compare the USD volume of 2000 and now because of course the volume would be much higher. You look at the number of shares moving.
In this case lower BTC volume may mean more BTC off the exchange. Maybe in people's wallet, maybe used for financing projects, maybe on another exchange. One should expect BTC volume to go down over time.

I'm pretty sure that a client will not broadcast such a transaction. So it's unlikely to confirm. However I do not see a problem with a negative transaction fee as long as the block has only 25 BTC more out than in.
Does a transaction removed from the memory pool result in a negative fee displayed on blockchain? It looks like that's a transaction that has more outputs than inputs. I don't think the transaction will ever confirm.
I looked, the coinad transaction is still on bitcoincharts.com. I didn't find evidence of double spending.
I'm getting "Transacion Not Found" on all those earlier transactions when I look at blockchain.info. Was there a double-spend on that initial transaction? Wow, that will be quite a mess for a lot of few people.
FTFY But me too. I don't see the transaction, very strange. Maybe it was a double spend. Anyway coinbase should make good on the transaction even if they have to eat a loss. Zero conformation transactions are an issue. I'll never doubt that now.

Why can't Americans even get retribution right? There's nothing worse for me than pricks who claim they're on the side of good or justice then go around shooting up the children of the people they claim to be fighting against. If I ever needed to explain why I veer more towards Anarchism, I'd say this is it, justice is bullshit, most people who claim to follow it are worse than the people who they fight against This is an example of how the WRONG ideas of the state lead to the WRONG actions of state actors against the state. We teach people that this is the way problems are solved (by sending them to war.) Then they try to solve problems the same way. Statist gonna state. Even the ones that recognize the blatant abuses of the state.

The Fed is now printing $85Billion every month. That makes 3%/month monetary inflation for the USD. Compare this to Bitcoinns 1%/month. That guy at zero hedge was being silly with his article. Of course the Fed could buy other "assets" besides treasuries.

I think BitInstant is $4 + 3.99% with cash deposit I think BitFloor has two options. With option one (a market order) you pay a 0.4% fee. With option two (a limit order) they pay you a 0.1% bonus. I think MtGox is between 0.55% and 0.6% depending on the size of the order. (although you may pay some fees just to transfer your money to them in the first place as well)
Yes, so mt. Gox is .55% so $10 worth of Bitcoin would be a $5 fee roughly ? It's a 0.55% fee so 10 worth of bitcoin would have a fee of $0.055

The free state project is great. Maybe the liberty forum could be a good way to visit. Bitcoin will be represented this year by Charlie Shrem, Erik Voorhees, and Roger Ver. These are exciting times we live in. Learn about the social philosophy which supports bitcoin. Tom Woods is the keynote speaker.

We have got a good thing going here. If you work for freedom you can keep doing what you're doing wherever you are, or you can do it in New Hampshire and be orders of magnitude more effective. Because we all work together there is so much more that gets done. The free state project is a great idea. The community here is amazing.

Bitware is also forgetting that professionals might want to participate in this project. It is not easy for professionals to move to some unincorporated region. With this project people can move to unincorporated regions, and still have the support network of professionals. Professionals have money so you want to have their support.
There are a lot of diverse backgrounds moving to New Hampshire. You shouldn't assume that everyone wants to live in an unincorporated region.

I have a buddy here who did an odd computer job for bitcoin. I expect porcfest will have a lot of bitcoin going around. Maybe you should come for that if you want to have fun in a camping kind of way. There is also liberty forum coming up.
