221  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Wirex- Bitcoin Debit Card | Buy Bitcoin | Mobile Banking | Send Money on: October 10, 2016, 07:26:22 PM
Hi there,

According to your page here : https://wirexapp.com/card.html , there is Card to Card transfer fees ? Is it the fees for card to card (of same account) or between two different users ? I can't seem to find the features on the E-coin.io website though

This feature has not been implemented yet. In a few moths you will be able to send funds between your own Wirex cards.

It's me or is not possible log-in or/and create a new account?

where are you trying? e-coin.io, wirexapp.com or mobile app?

Well...
My account was made on wirexapp.com but now seems I only can enter from e-coin.io  !?
Two days trying to acces in my account and one still waiting a response from support@wirexapp.com
No info on twitter by @wirexapp and ...I found you just  because I tried on bitcointalk.
I know that e-coin was the old name (but not so old, it seems) but I think I will be waiting for they cleaning some mess before to do anything more.
Thanks anyway.

Weird. I have not see any message from you on Twitter. Will you please give us your wirex registered email and your support ticket number? Sorry for the inconvenience

I am also having issues with Wirex, I added $30 and when I try to load my card it tells me I have insufficient funds and when I try to transfer the btc I also get an error that the transaction failed, what's happening with all these cards?

Are you sure It has nothing to do with the fees or the account limits ?? as far as I know you will have to adjust the amount.
Like I already said, I have $30 on my account and I am trying to load $10-$20 to my card and it gives me the following error messages "Server or connection error and you don't have enough funds to complete this transaction"

Are you trying to tell me Wirex charges $10-$20 to complete a simple load transaction, and where are these owners, no one responds to my tickets and no one responds here, this is the same shit that happened with coinizy for a few months, they steal your money and a new owner returns with a new design while we all get screwed, If I could find enough people who got screwed by this company we could open a scam Accusation and they might respond faster.

Don't throw that work so fast friend. It has nothing to do with our fees. Check this link to learn all about our fees and limits: https://wirexapp.com/blog/faq-wirex-fees/.

As it was already explained, it's a minor technical issue. It will be solved as soon as possible.

Hello and good day. This issue is been attended by our development team and will be solved as soon as possible. Not everybody is being affected by this, and usually if you just log out and re-login it will work again. Sorry for the inconvenience  Cry

Hi! If you got time, We recommend you to test Wirex (www.wirexapp.com). This platform combines the speed and flexibility of blockchain finance with the acceptance of traditional currency in one account. You can manage your bitcoins as any wallet does, or use them to directly load your a Prepaid Debit MasterCard in USD, EUR or GBP. One that you can use anywhere where MasterCard is accepted. That way, you may use bitcoins as an investment and as currency, at the same time. Welcome to the best of both worlds. Cool

Check our mobile app and if you request your first Virtual card on it, It's free.

Wasn't bitcoin created to avoid situation where we have to use debit/credit cards in the first place? I fouind this a bit ironic that bitcoines are baited by 'free' debit cards.
So they are giving out free Debit Cards to lure people into their parasitic network of service fees. I am afraid that by using bitcoin debit cards we are pushing bitcoin adoption away.

I am agree with you at some point but for most bitcoiner. we prefer anonymous way to cashout money. therefore, bitcoin debit card still is best option.

I do badly need one of this.Unfortunately,my country isn't available from one of the mentioned list above. However,is there a way I can ask someone off shore to have it shipped and then use normally in my country ? Would it work ? I have an active account associated with Wirex, which works fine.I'm assuming the card shouldn't have any issues.Do reply.

Well, If you have an available address in another country We support, you may request a Virtual Visa. The detail is you may not verify it, as you don't have verification documents on the other country. So you will have to work with the limits for unverified users.

236  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: August 03, 2016, 02:03:08 PM
If you're holding a bitcoin debit card, then accepting your salary in bitcoin would be more beneficial than getting it in fiats as of now. Because, in my case I am converting my salary into bitcoin for my saving and for gambling spending. If I do directly get bitcoins that would save more time for me which is usually occurring with conversion.
But how you can fill up your daily needs, are you sure, you can exchange your bitcoin into the fiat for everytime you needs?
and does it's just waste a lot of your time, it's fine for your to accept your salary into btc but you need to consider about next problem you can get from that.

Thing is, there isn't an economy built around Bitcoin yet; so i can't spend BTC to pay for my daily needs; at least not here in France.

If you have a Bitcoin Debit Card, you can use your BTC directly, withdraw from any ATM and buy in every store. Actually, the Wirex Card lets you do all this and more. Try it If you will  Smiley

Hello professionals!
I purchase Virtual Wirex Debit Card, but receive only Master card:
"The Wirex Card is issued by Wave Crest Holdings Ltd, pursuant to a Licence from MasterCard International".

Are you know how I can choose Visa virtual card in Wirex (e-coin.io)?

Yes, virtual cards were Visa before, why now Mastercard?

Virtual cards are Visa. Plastic cards are Mastercard.
