They also issue a lengthy explanation about how the transactions with the Wirex card works, so I hope this could clarify any doubts you have. Also, Please remember that if you send more than one ticket about the same issue, the support team will eventually close and merge them so they issue can be handled orderly. I made this post because they are total shit right now.. I have had a case where I tried to deposit money using their card to a betting website but the betting website did not receive the money so my balance was not updated. I have opened many tickets for this and to this day they can't respond to tell me where my money went it's been more than a week now their support is total shit. now I have sent 100$ worth of bitcoin to another address from my account on their platform and it seems they did not calculate the transaction fees right causing my money to get stuck on unconfirmed for about an hour now.

Suddenly transfer from paypal to wirex is taking ages, it used to be something like 2 days, today is 7 days I'm waiting and money has still not reached Wirex. How is that possible? Thank you, you noticed  We are working hard to listen to our community. HOWEVER, if I want to exchange 0.1 BTC to GBP it uses the exchange rate of 953.23 GBP/BTC. If I exchange 0.11 BTC up to 0.5 BTC, the exchange rate is 976.71 GBP/BTC. I didn't put more than 0.5 BTC in my wirex wallet to test when (which BTC amount) the exchange rate actually reaches the 991.01 GBP/BTC.

Wirex isn't a scam (well, it wasn't before -> i was all happy before on the e-coin platform), but they have a lot of problems lately..
Exchange rate is really too high, should be less for about 3-4%.
I sent over some BTC last night and it shows the transaction went ok , but the BTC never arrived on my account.

Stay away from these guys. It's not scam but in contrary to their help page the wire transfer took 3 weeks each (tried two times) and the BTX transfer is credited to my account but blocked since two days. Totally ridiculous.

I feel physically sick and have been reduced to tears with this information. The support ticket ID is "90196". My account is successfully verified with wirexapp. I can supply numerous documents to prove who I am. This is unfair and I really need help as it is a huge loss to me and something which is causing a large amount of stress to my family and I.

I told you all that E-coin a.k.a Wirex is scam because of their hidden fees long time ago.
We see now that their fee is ~7%.
Also bitcoins vanishing ...
Oh, this again. We already explained countless of times this is not true. However, We do have a technical issue regarding our Bitcoin rate right now, and we have the development team working on it. Also, bitcoins don't "vanish" on Wirex. If you get a problem with your balance, you just have to write to the support team and they can help you. Actually, It's kind of suspicious at least 8 accounts with less than 5 posts are repeatedly spraying the same misinformation about Wirex. However, We do understand there are issues, like with any service growing fast and offering new features all the time, but none of the issues of any user is left unresolved. Hey. I am so happy I found this website with responses on wirex and their service, which is a complete ponzi scheme. I have currently been in contact with wirex support over the past 3 weeks trying to resolve a issue with my USD card. Before now, I thought wirex was only on reddit publicly. I have been in contact with them on reddit here for atleast 2 weeks about the issue. Here is whats going on : *** PLEASE LOOK TO REDDIT BEFORE USING WIREX!!! THEY ARE A HUGE PONZI SCAM!!!*** Wirex is a scam. They have been trying to hold my money for a month now. Telling me that after I loaded the card with funds, now I have to verify the card. This is however a lie because I followed the stipulations of a unverified usd card. Instead, wirex claims that there is a 1,000 USD card load limit for the life of the card on reddit. On their website, it shows that there is a 2500 dollar limit to load onto the usd card. When inquiring why my 1141 dollars transaction does not go thru on Amazon.com wirex replyed : "I understand your point. However, you are getting the situation all wrong, getmeright. Verification is not something you "decided to do" or not. This is part of the terms and conditions of the service and actually, is established by the card issuing bank. It's as simple as this: If you surpass the lifetime limit for card expense of $1000 for unverified users, you have to verify your account in order to continue using the services.
