I'm late again, I can't always predict what time Krogo will start his daily free raffle. I always watch his post history but didn't get any luck at all. Good luck to those who manage to get their slots. Smiley
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: December 03, 2019, 10:14:48 AM
If you feel an irresistible urge to continue, forcing yourself to stop gambling won't come as painless as you think it should. If you succeed at it (which is not given at all as if it is in fact irresistible, it is, well, irresistible), you will likely start to experience something like the withdrawal syndrome
This is a difficult thing, using our feel to stop our addiction.
As I know, if we have under-pressure situations, our feel doesn't work. And we need someone to stop our actions because we can't stop ourself at addictions

In my case, I can stop gambling.

The thing here is that I am not addicted, as I said I can stop but the problem is that I can't stop playing it. I can say that I am not addicted since I can control it. In fact, I just gamble some satoshis I can get from the gambling sites I can visit in a day. It is a waste of time I can confirm that but the thing is that I am gambling and at the same time losing just my time and not my money.
Its confusing to me, you're not addicted but you cant stop playing it? Anyhow you're not using a huge amount and just a free satoshis from the site so I think you're playing to kill time. In my case I have control and just playing for fun, stopping is not a problem since I dont gamble to double my money.

Same here, I was also confused, I don't if he's accepting the fact that he's addicted on it or not, though for me I don't see anyone who's going to be addicted in gambling by just spending free satoshis in a gambling sites everyday, the reason why other's are addicted to it because it is their money on the line that's at risk, therefore they have to be careful and keep on chasing their losses to gain back their money, which always turns out in the opposite way.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done to experiment to determine percentage of winning? on: December 01, 2019, 01:31:24 PM

If there is someone who already does this, could you please share the outcome? At what Bet you usually win? and what platform could that technique be applicable?
For luck based games? Then its total a waste of time and effort on inputting those info on a piece of paper yet you cant really able to see anything with that. You cant formulate something on a thing which is completely random.

For strategic like card games and sportsbet? Possible but this would always vary on your skills and analysis. Writing up some info about it wont make a change though but rather just a reference of yours.

I definitely agree with this.

I mean, it is already given by the gambling house on how much chances of winning you have depends on the ratio of your bet, the less percentage of winning, the bigger amount of money you could win, the bigger risk also, and vice versa, it is simple as that, you don't need to analyze it like you could change your future in gambling, because you can't, gambling house edge is absolute.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: December 01, 2019, 12:42:42 PM
3. You mean donate the money instead of gambling and losing it? You see, if you donate, you give away your money (equivalent to loss. Lets not consider this "feeling good" after making a donation situation). But if you gamble with it, there is a chance of getting back something more.

I guess you are in the top list of those people who hate to store the humanity, and please don't say that it is not good to help others, cause it's beyond good. It is good to see people smiling because of the money you donate on them, like charities or hospitals that raise funds to help their sick patients that have serious diseases. You just need to know the difference between those people who needs your donation and the ones who wants you money, do that and you'll start donating your money instead of risking it on gambling without any valid reasons at all.

Gambling sites owner are already rich, they don't need your money anymore.
225  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Are Women Slowly Leaning On To Crypto Trade? on: November 28, 2019, 05:50:07 PM
Women has lot many family responsibility and they keep them focused on activities for personal grooming and money management for family needs. This is the scenario with third world countries, apart from this they look for a day job that pays little amount that could help them financially. This is what the situation of women in third world countries years back.

Now women are much adoptive to technology and has been getting to learn more about the technology. This has made them identify what they're passionate about and follow the same. This seems to be the slow learning of low number of women into the cryptocurrency network. Once they find it good they're the one who are highly dedicative than men in my opinion.

I agree.

Women in the third world country, especially if they are married, mostly the job that they do all day everyday is to do the house choirs, taking care of the kids, so they don't have that much time to spend in understanding what cryptocurrency is. Most of them are preferred online selling, and taking jobs as freelancers in order to manage their own time.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: November 28, 2019, 04:04:05 PM
I've played gambling before with my friends, they've introduced me to it because it is fun, they've said. I've played way back 2017 and at first, yeah, you could say it fun when you only gamble few amounts of your money because you feel it won't hurt you since you are earning well, but it hurts me a lot when the year 2018 came, I've had a lot of regrets where I think that if I didn't gamble my money way back then, I could have more money in my wallet and would not starve myself.

I've gambled for entertain and I quitted it because of myself, there is so much entertainment in the outside world if you are just going to explore it.
227  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries testing digital assets in 2020 on: November 28, 2019, 03:19:04 PM
I was surprised why China wasn't included on that article considering the amount of news we've digested on the past several weeks about its state back cryptocurrency!

What is so surprising about it, they hate cryptocurrency and they had shut down all the local exchanges in their country, automatically, they would not be included in the list.

Now I'm eager to see on what will transpire on each country's crypto development. Will it ignite a so called global crypto race among bigger and influential countries in the likes of USA, Germany, France, etc.? And what will be its effects on global economy?

The effect of it would be simple, if it's going to be successful where big countries you've mentioned fully implanted the use of cryptocurrency, I am sure third world countries would also do the same to improve their economies as well.
228  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: November 28, 2019, 02:47:13 PM
KYC in itself isn't entirely a bad idea. It does prevent some fraud and adds another layer of security but still depends if the exchange is trustworthy enough. KYC could help retrieve coins sent to wrong address, on exchanges that implements KYC too could use these details to fix some issues. However, even though tax isn't also a bad thing (since it is necessary to have law enforcement and peace and order), I do also disagree on government's hot eyes on cryptocurrencies, especially now that they had seen its potential, it just looks like they just want to profit from these grounds.

I have to disagree.

KYC might not be entirely bad but it is entirely bad, if you know what I mean. We are here in the internet, in a cryptocurrency world where everyone came from different countries that have different identities, personalities, and so many more, that fact solidifies that KYC is not a good thing when it comes to privacy itself, it is like exchanges or anything that requires it are not that trustworthy for me, because look, they could do things they could even though without any KYC, yet they requires it.

And about the taxation in cryptocurrency, I am against it, because Governments should stay away and respect that cryptocurrency doesn't need one.

Voted.

I guessed I've had too much expectation about my art and got a little bit down because I didn't see my name on the list. Anyways, congrats to those who get their prices in Bitcoin and good luck to whoever going to receive the badges about our art competition. Smiley
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A new Bitcoin Android Application on: November 25, 2019, 04:50:47 PM
I really like the thing you work out here, but I think to provide assurance that this can be trustworthy a trial on your wallet is needed,

I agree about this, his project looks good but since I have trust issues, I guess I'll for some future update also about the feedbacks of users who downloaded and uses his app. I'm too paranoid where I think he will have a data base about the users private keys and he will secretly stole their bitcoins since OP is anonymous, something like that, lol. Please forgive me, no offense OP.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can do Governements against Satoshi ? on: November 25, 2019, 03:52:23 PM
If He Forget everything on purpose ?  Cheesy ( Like The genius for remember everything 10 years later everything he did making something he is alone able to see them ).

He know governements probably want to kill him or want him to work for them so he take the risk to be forgotten forever as a legend.

Imagine what he was able to do in 2008 already, when no one in world have the power to change the world, he was the one to believe he was able to start the revolution alone and change entire world by himself.

Nothing, he predicted everything perfectly, he will comeback one day i think he is already back but to crazy like 10 years ago no one believe him already.

No one knows what's behind in his disappearance after he released bitcoin in public, we also didn't know if he really forget everything or maybe he is watching us anonymously. These are all hunches and theory about Satoshi's disappearance by applying the fact that the Governments hate his invention, therefore we came up with different conclusion to solve his mystery that until now is still unsolved.

If he comes back after 10 years and no one would believe him, he just need to do one thing, and that is proving he is the real deal.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies? on: November 25, 2019, 02:09:06 PM

I think that we can solve most of these problems by educating people about cryptocurrencies and debunking what the mainstream media have done to slander cryptocurrencies.
I honestly think that if these issues a solved then we will probably have more people to use cryptocurrencies worldwide.

I doubt that. Cryptocurrency is not something that you could force someone to eat, educating people about it is easy, but the hard part is their decisions whether they are going to accept it or not, maybe they would comfortable rely on fiat, because it is the easiest way for them to earn as of the moment. We are going to need a continuous educating mode if we really want to push this world wide use of cryptocurrency, that includes the persuading process of other Governments that is against cryptocurrency.

This is going to be a long process, we just have to wait until people don't have any option but cryptocurrency, they are blinded by fiat for now.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with a controlled mindset on: November 24, 2019, 04:31:07 PM
You cannot control your mindset if your greediness is stronger than your dedication on controlling what you want to control, you'll always lose if you are not going to be honest to yourself, another factor that affects people in gambling that destroys their focus is their adoration about money. Those individuals who worships money are the worst gamblers, even not gamblers.

Why? it is simply because they are willing to risk everything just to get the money they want, they are even willing to offer their life on it, like borrowing money on loan sharks knowing that they could be killed if they couldn't pay their debt on time.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: November 24, 2019, 02:25:22 PM
I can't even imagine myself in your position, stop for a moment and think, you are paying those people money to lose money? No thanks. I'd rather keep the $70 and make my own probability in gambling, it is more better to feel to lose with your own mistakes than relying your faith in gambling in other people, you invested money and trust yet you never get what you wanted.

Trying this kind of method for a month is understandable but if you're on this for months, you should quit this, too much desperation could lead to too much depression.
236  Economy / Services / Re: Editing photoshoot or any photos [raw] files ( HIRE ME ) on: November 24, 2019, 12:54:04 PM
Why can't you find a legit website? There is Fiverr at least where you can offer your service... Just go ahead and make an account, make some gigs and then promote it. That's all you need.

Another thing you can do, create a website related to your service and promote it through facebook and do some SEO... I see that Seo won't be much tough to rank.

Posting here is not a bad choice tho because doing something is better than doing nothing. But I tell you what, peoples here are very privacy concerned and you may not get many calls so better keep the above options in your mind.
it would be great if on fiver they using crypto currency as well.  Because you know i saw many ppl using it in different ways even youtubers, so it would be great to use  crypto currency for easy transaction.  .im a graphic artist also and i know its a good side line..

I guess many users in fiverr will still use fiat, for cryptocurrency use in payments, they will just double the amount they are going to pay basically because of the transaction fee. Maybe it could happen in the future, let's see Smiley

E D I T: going to lock this topic, thank you for the both of you Smiley

I've checked Fiverr and it is a legit one just like what you have said, thank you for suggesting it, gonna try it up now.

But I tell you what, peoples here are very privacy concerned and you may not get many calls so better keep the above options in your mind.

That makes sense Smiley

240  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: November 23, 2019, 10:13:43 AM
The risks of cryptocurrencies are that these are the same risks as in any investment.

I disagree.

The risk that we are taking when we are investing in cryptocurrency have much higher risk than investing on real state properties, or in a business, why is that, because we are talking about volatility here that could spikes, either it goes up very wild or goes down very wild, like as of now, bitcoin's price dropped again to $7,500 and it is still very puzzling when will be the next bull run going to occur to recuperate our losses.

Although the rewards of bigger risk are always big, that is what I am sure about.
