So if I understand this correctly there are exactly 222 people who have more than 50K ICN. They'll add them to the test in no time.

Can someone check how many people got more than 50 000 ICN during the ICO or is it impossible? It might give us better understanding of how far we are from the release. A quick calculation says even if all the 87 million ICN tokens were bought in batches of 50 thousand, this would mean that about 1700 people are waiting for beta access. Either way even if we still have 5300 people to go they will probably start granting their access faster now that some things don't have to be tested anymore.

I mostly agree. Many times a few huge whales hold the majority of coin availability and every time the coin sees some pump they create huge dumps plummeting the price. This is unhealthy for the growth. However this way the situation gradually improves as the tokens are in the end still getting distributed among a wider group of holders.

I'd like to see something done to improve the situation, but I don't think the buy cap proposed by many people is the right course of action here. Not only does it go against what we stand for in the crypto economy, but it also can be easilly bypassed. ICO funded companies also wouldn't have too much interest in that, since they mostly need to collect their funding quickly and smoothly, and that will make the crowd funding campaigns longer.

Something should be done to make the potential ICO organizers combat this issue, and when a solution is available in the future maybe people should start boycotting ICO campaigns that don't make use of it.

I have quite some money riding with ICN, and I'm pretty confident in that project. The token is nicely tied to the project success since a buyback program will be funded with the profits from the Iconomi platform, which will help maintain a high token price. Maybe more ICO projects should look into something like this. Also already have made a X10 since the ICO last year.

I think they said they'll adjust for high ether price by decreasing the total amount of tokens(thus making individual tokens more valuable in the longer run), but don't quote me on that.

It will likely be acheived in a few days to a week tops. SONMs ICO sales target is not that high anyways. I expect most of the money will be collected through the first 24 hours period when there will likely be some bonus tokens for whoever buys in.

Early access was promissed to all ICO participants indeed but they seem to have left them for after the beta list guys. More and more ICO people joining means that this beta is getting close to its final stages.

Don't see a reason why we won't see it on Poloniex. Anyway, even if they don't list it, ICN proved it's capable of making it to the moon without Polo. We may see it get listed by Bittrex too, we'll wait and see.

Yea, but they have very little effect on the price. The small fluctuations you see throughout the day are day traders doing, but in the end the price still gravitates around the same point unless there's a major pump or dump which day traders can't cause since they operate with a very small volume.

At least $3 if things go smoothly and as planned. That's a conservative guess.

So what's so ironic about it? Iconomi may have been a bit less transparent than we'd like in the past but that's all this is now - past. Would I want them to be even more transparent? Sure! Would I want them to be more transparent if that would give an edge to their competitors? Hell no!

The future is bright, people have confidence and the relatively stable price during the burst of the bubble is reflecting it. If you're an investor I think you should be pretty happy with that.

Didn't realize ICONOMI have so much uninvested BTC and ETH still. This means that their funds in $ have grown significantly during the recent bubble. Awesome! More money to invest in future ICOs and gain revenue.

The more I look into it the more I think there will be a correction to these numbers. When they were announced everything was calculated for 1ETH= about $50. SONM needed something like $10 million to realise their project, not 50 million. They'll likely revise this, but they're probably waiting for ICO date to draw a bit closer since god knows how much will 1 ETH cost then.

Yes, the current exchange rate of 606 SNM per 1 ETH means that 1 SNM will be like $0.30 which is a substantial price per token for an ICO. However this might coinsidentaly solve the problem with the ICO ending in 12 hours and being largely dominated by huge whales who later dump 10% of the whole token supply at the same time and destroy the price. They'll also be hard pressed to obtain so many tokens like they did in previous ICO campaigns and this will probably make the campaign run for maybe a few days at least, allowing more regular people to join in albeit with smaller shares.
