221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid Bitcoin scams? on: January 27, 2021, 04:40:10 PM
If you asked me Ive seen a lot of type of scams aside from what you mentioned. Mostly these are methods on earning like double the money, free airdrops that have required deposits and social phishing involving popular people.

I didn't click the blog, don't want to take risk on some malware or phishing if ever it has.

Are you the original account of digifinex? This is some sort of traffic ads to let others visit your site.
Posts like these were still effective for those who doesn't seem aware of what's the point of the post. Since the link and the user who posted the thread were confusing since diginifex is an exchange platform.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alert: stay away from new type of bitcoin scam on: January 27, 2021, 04:21:35 PM
this is always the problem.....

people don't understand that investment takes time to yield profit....

so sometimes I don't seem to look at the victims with empathy.....

100% profit in a month is near to luck.... how much more 24 hours
If you're an experienced trader, you can gain 100% of your profit within weeks. But there's some traders who gain 100% of their profits from trading from uncontrollable pump. On the other hand, If you the case is a yield farm, staking or lending feature, 100% profit gain within 24hrs is a crappy scam. It takes several months to gain 100% of your profit if you compound it from the start.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We once had a barter system here, but the government smashed it on: January 27, 2021, 02:57:56 PM
If you haven't noticed, Government is alright trying to control how we trade with exchanges now forcing people to first carry out KYC verification before using their platforms. I wasn't here when Bitcoin started, but I believe there was so much freedom trading Bitcoin back then than it is right now.

It's because back then bitcoin is not yet in the radar of the government, or any agency for that matter. But after the Mt. Gox heist, you will hear a lot of negativity starting to pop up. In the last 5 years or so, government are taking notice, hence KYC/AML verification is now in full effect.

However, this is the best effort they can put forward, they can't really stop bitcoin's trading. One way to do that is to stop internet, but I doubt they will have the power to do that.

It's a big deal when it comes to limit the usage of links on the internet to control bitcoin and it's way too impossible to stop the internet since this modern era of us takes place by using the internet.
224  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: January 27, 2021, 02:33:32 PM
I am afraid of KYC. I dont even publish my name anywhere, I dont use any social network because dont want someone to gather my privat information. Any database may be stolen or sold to criminals. I will reject any ICO program or bounty campaign which requires KYC procedure. I live in new world with new opportunities which bitcoin gave us
KYC's are sure risky since we don't want to get known for some reasons that we need to take care with. We just need to be careful when having KYC'd on a certain platform. We can still assure that there's a low risk for some well known platforms that needs KYC like Binance.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: January 27, 2021, 02:11:12 PM
Bitcoin is a good investment if you know how it works. Investing on it without having the knowledge about it will just make your investment lose profits in the long run. During this time of pandemic, some countries already invested their money and future in Bitcoin, and soon enough, I believe all of us in the whole world will appreciate Bitcoin and will start cashless society.

My only advice is that if you're planning to invest in Bitcoin, don't put it all in because it might go down again before flying to the moon.
Knowing its core value is the best profit you can have and not only by gaining from it. Bitcoin has its good functions in our present time and you can use it on your daily life basis.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!!!! You BitCoin people were right. I wish I had bought back in March :( on: January 26, 2021, 06:15:09 PM
You shouldn't buy bitcoin just because its price is going up. You should always buy bitcoin (or more precisely dump your fiat for bitcoin) when you realize that what bitcoin offers as a decentralized currency that can not be shut down or censored is useful for you. Otherwise the price might as well stop rising and stay here and you'll be stuck with something so valuable without knowing it.
Knowing its true value and benefits that you can gain from bitcoin is the first thing you should research first. Not because you saw how it pump so high and you seemed to ignored its dump price which is profittable, you will start to regret on how you act when bitcoin is at it's bottom peak. Enjoying its true from and use it freely is the healthiest way to have bitcoin. Profits came from dumps compensates you for how you respectively use your digital currency.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the ultimate winner of Bitcoin pump? on: January 26, 2021, 05:55:21 PM
If you look back at 2017 pump it was average users like us who got the benefit of bull run as Bitcoin was easily affordable before the bullrun hence a good portion of users had bitcoin in their portfolio as there were not that much altcoins available in the market. But this year who has gained more ? Is it average users or else institutions and traders who made most of it? I think it's trader's who bought at cheap and sold at high because institutions are yet to cashoutm what do you all think?

If you are in profit with the current huge market pump then you can be called as a winner and also I think all of us crypto user is the winner to in different way but the one who really got benefited on it is the whales since they are the one who buy a huge volume of bitcoins and if buy at the current rate from the past and hold it for sure they are earning big gains up till now.
Exactly! Whales that has been hodling bitcoin from the start before it blooms are the winners. Also, for those who still had their bitcoin which they bought literally on a lower price since it's not that popular within that timeline are also considered as winner. It's quite right that we can consider crypto users as winners in different way and aspects as long as they gain profits from bitcoin's huge success.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who controls the bitcoin price? on: January 26, 2021, 05:36:36 PM
well, i been thinking for a while about who actually controls the bitcoin price.
among the following below, which one do you think has the major influence regarding the bitcoin price?

i. bitcoin whales
ii. the banks
iii. wall street
iv. hedge funds
v. crypto exchanges
vi. crypto influencers
Bitcoin is so volatile, you can't even predict on what will happened from time to time. The Price Bitcoin varies on buy and sell of anyone depending on how big they trade/buy/sell on a certain platform. Although whales were the biggest bitcoin holders but it doesn't mean they can control the whole circulation of it unless they will plan to sell or buy bitcoin for a huge amount which is unlikely referred as a pipe dream.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin advertising by celebrities. on: January 26, 2021, 05:24:08 PM
If the celebrities advertise and support bitcoin it is good for the community because it will spread the bitcoin to their supporters who is possible to become future investors of the bitcoin.

The more celebrity will expose bitcoin to the public the more chances to grow the value and it is what really want to happen. Hoping that not only the celebrities endorse the bitcoin but also the government will advertise this coin and Im sure that many people will invest and the price will grow more.
It's certainly right. Celebrities that posts about giveaways via cryptocurrency is a huge promotion/advertisement that will help to spread bitcoin's influence.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is been Spotted in Google Search said Hoffman Investigation on: January 26, 2021, 05:11:16 PM
Nothing one the link, but as much as we all want to know satoshi ,I won't advice you make it a priority please, satoshi would have come out to us but he choosed to remain hidden .
The real satoshi nakamoto won't reveal himself for the reason of being a pseudo anonymous just like how we live our daily life on crypto world. I believe that he's a wise man and he knows himself where to let his indentity hidden from us just like how we hidden our identity to others.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a world power? on: January 26, 2021, 04:59:34 PM
To gain worldpower, not only crypto but any currency should get minds of people first... While people trust in currency, it works...
Referring to world power, the word such as "World power" doesn't circulate only in currency. There are some characteristics for those who want to achieve such power. You can gain world power by having a massive influence on your state, extraordinary intelligence, has an access on a country's arm forces, also, having such huge wealth and many more. With these, you can certainly attain the "World power" you're seeking with.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if internet connectivity gets terminated on: January 25, 2021, 06:24:26 PM
By that time what will happen with the banking process if there happens a termination of internet connectivity for few days time.

First, that's highgly unlikely in developed countries.

In the same way that the power can go out in a neighborhood of a city for a few hours, the same can happen with the Internet, but do not expect a massive blackout in all countries for several days and, even if that were to happen, the blockchain would still be there. The scenario you raise is so unlikely that I don't worry about it.
I agree with this. Developed countries had always countermeasure regarding on technology that helps us in our daily life since it has been a great progress and had a great impact in these present time. Hence, some countries that belongs to third-world country may experience those slow connections and it's inevitable.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does anybody have any suggestions for investing in Bitcoin? on: January 25, 2021, 06:08:33 PM
There are lot notions around the number one digital currency investment. Potential investors from Wall Street think that it might not be the best for them to invest in Bitcoin. Some people skepticism arise a result of record exchange hacks and also lot of scammers in various social media platform.
Financial expert advisor have different opinions about the bitcoin future despite the huge profit risk takers  made during this year rally. What is your legit suggestion  in investing into bitcoin base on the level of your exposure to the blockchain industry?

Today's market is very risky because bitcoin is a very volatile asset, the future of which is still uncertain. To mitigate any risks involved with investing in bitcoin, you should wait for it to achieve new ATH. Then you skip it and don't invest. Just wait for another ATH, the one that will give you enough evidence that the time has come. You should probably skip that one too because it is still risky to invest your money. In my opinion, you need to wait for the third ATH. Only then it is going to be relatively safe to put your dollars in. Don't wait too long, however, because you can miss the moment when bitcoin is no longer volatile due to its maturity.
The higher the risk, the greater the profit. That's why we try to take risk in order to gain something valuable. Just like bitcoin, there's a high risk when you try to enter its domain by investing, that's why you need further research and knowledge before betting your own wealth into that currency. Also, skipping opportunities such as corrections or dip may be regrettable since it can turntables your fortune if you're already late to bitcoin.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Dying on: January 25, 2021, 05:48:35 PM
Psst. You can use Bitcoin for whatever purpose you may see fit. You want to use it as an investment? A payment currency? A way of having real ownership over your money? A way of hiding your wealth from the government? You may even use it to buy those anime waifu pillows or Belle Delphine's bath water and I don't care one bit. Because that's the point! You have complete freedom with Bitcoin, and you don't need to care what people think!
Also, you can freely choose whatever you want in your wealth since Bitcoin has plenty of unique options you can choose. You're also safe from bad guys who wants to rob your wealth. A term "Dying" for bitcoin is not logical since it's value were too massive right now.

237  Other / Politics & Society / Re: serious question: can we start a TRUMP - Tokenomics on: January 25, 2021, 03:04:29 PM
There is an existing trump cryptocurrency that not related to trump that pump when he won.

Hillary coin dead as she lose.🙂https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1858645.0

That existing can be forked to defi for governance.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to find best Airdrops? on: January 24, 2021, 04:24:18 PM
I really want to know about how i can get legit and good airdrops. There are too many scam projects and its really difficult to find legit project. I missed 1inch airdrop infact i did not find any announcement regarding this and suddenly last night i see a post about it. So i feel bad but cant do any thing.
There are a bunch of airdrop groups in telegram and facebook pages. Only the project itself hodls the legitimacy of the idea and concept if they continue developing it. Almost all airdrops are scams because they use airdrops to gain exposure and will ultimately scam investors that favor their whitepaper and also highly possibly plagiarized.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 24, 2021, 03:43:28 PM
Lucky indeed in gambling, winning that billion is okay but the way the taxers takes almost half of his winnings is not okay, even if his identity not revealed in the process.

Damn taxes.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont stay in crypto too long on: January 24, 2021, 02:06:43 PM
There's a big difference on everything in our time right now. Don't generalize other altcoins and bitcoin because of XRP's issue. If Crypto would be ruled by SEC and the government, Bitcoin's value won't be massive right now. Also, there's some features of bitcoin that can still give you freedom like you wanted. Technology is the evolution of humanity. You can't tell whether the near future will still have a fiat currency or just like bitcoin which is a digital currency.
