The important question now is who is next for Stake? Wink

If everton survives and doesn't get relegated then stake won't have to worry about having to choose another team to sponsor. But even if everton survives and doesn't get relegated I doubt they'll make it far unless lampard manages to restructure the whole team and put players with a big name on the market. But even so, lampard is still a coach who hasn't won great things and even if he was a great player he will have difficulties in making a good structure at everton, I say that because everton has had good coaches and even then nothing has changed, things have continued bad. Everton is like Manchester United, they have good conditions to have a good team and achieve great things, but for some strange reason they haven't been able to do it even though they have good coaches.

Ah, I know a sportsbook sponsoring not one but two teams in EPL,,, could actually have been three had the first one renewed their partnership but they chose Stake instead. Nice to see that their ex-girlfriend is now with bigger clubs, but now their current gf also has another sweetheart in Everton Wink

Players with big names,,, you mean like Manchester United?  Grin

Hello everybody! Put some bets on Tennis and on J-League today, let us see if I get strange good luck again from betting on games I never know about  Cheesy

Just FYI there are also new free promos all up, all on Japan football, one for Bet 4 free and one for the $100000 Bet 6. I did not consult any odds for the 6-6 I just put low scores and 2 draws for all picks,,, see if dumb luck helps me again.

A new dice site,,, finally! I like the looks, make it like this, less graphics and more about speed, and all kinds of autobet functions that is how we dice players like it. My suggestions are
> Make autobet include history download so no need to use external bots, keep it all stored on database externally after 1 month or something like this to save space. I hate dice sites where you cannot see history!
> Make house edge 1%,,,, from your screenshot it is 2% not good Wink

Hello guys,,, I just wanted to check in and say hello and to update in my very very slow quest for VIP, which is now 22% complete (0.22 BTC wagered as of today). It actually took a huge jump yesterday when I took the biggest risk and played martingale style on blackjack at 10 ubtc starting bet.

Very bad decision.

I actually did NOT lose, but I was on my final bet it had gone up to 10 mbtc wagered with all in... and I hit on 13, got 20, Dealer had 19.

All this in maybe 20 hands.

Yes I got 10 mbtc wagered instantly but I could do the same with much smaller risk just wagering 0.02 mbtc 500 times Smiley Anyway wish me more luck Wink

BTW site is down on and off past hour but Cloudflare under attack so many sites including bitcointalk affected.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this Golf Strategy? [Betting €5400 on the US Open] on: June 21, 2022, 07:16:46 AM
I think a riskier yet better bankroll approach is to go for the ones you think have outside chance to win like above 5x-20x.

Then as tournament progress, those below 5x who do not perform if they dip, you also bet on them.

Yes, you're right - you back the outsiders with $6 each, then if their chances improve you "sell" (lay) it in the exchange and make profit from it - but it requires you to be hands on on the odds, and watch them go up and down, and likewise you never know when you're reaching the bottom - but it's definitely a nice strategy to try.

That is right! Back outsiders work the same in football, and even during live matches you can for example hedge the bets IF they score first by taking bets on the favorite then (which the odds will rise if they go behind),,, but I guess in gold it can be even easier to bet on odds as you can check back daily on tournaments right?

I believe there are now some back/lay markets that also allow limit orders but maybe not for crypto. That would be so cool.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io UEFA Nations League Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: June 21, 2022, 05:35:54 AM
The England national team has a bad history of such happenings. They had talents like Michael Owen and a couple of others some years ago and even at that time which for me personally the players were of better quality compared to the ones now the England national team suffered from the same mishap.Together they could not be a concrete team, they missed a lot of chances just because they thought to themselves there is time to score and we are one of the best teams,it seems this mentality is the one who needs to be fought. They need to think like we are not a super team but a normal one and with each passing minute we risk to lose the game or get eliminated from the tournament,I think is the mentality that needs to be fixed.

By the way, I did not mean to say bad things about England only,,, after all I do like many of the players AND my favorite team is English and from London no less. I reread the stuff I said and it seems I am such a hater but that is funny in sports, in a way. I find that watching football with friends I am the worst cussing at my own team, and I can watch other teams and comment positively but at my own team cussing so much people have asked me am I really a fan or what  Grin

But true about the mentality. It was fixed to a certain extent in the past few years but again now there are some players who get too bigheaded like maybe Grealish so I totally support why he is dropped sometimes, and other players too. Their egos too way ahead.

Yeah, not most difficult win for Max. Sainz gave him some pressure in the end, but he wasn't even close from real chance to overtake him. But I don't think that Sainz should be disappointed about result. Yeah, he wanted to win, but after so many races with bad outcome this season, 2nd place is great result. 3rd place for Hamilton is great thing too. This season is so difficult for him, so this result is a bit relief for him.
Tsunoda crash on pit exit - wtf was that and how?

The distance from 1st and 2nd place was almost 10 seconds,,, not as far away as in Baku but again just proves the dominance from Red Bull, even when one of them somehow fails to finish.

Nobody could see how easy the next few races would be for him after not even finishing the first two. But the season is long and if Ferrari moves in quickly, they have a big chance.

LeClerc finishing 5th is one heck of an achievement.
228  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: June 20, 2022, 09:12:24 AM
well the first everton game will be against arsenal, friendly game, we will be able to see how lampard prepared everton for this season. I don't expect much from everton this season but they might surprise me. In the case of Aston Villa I hope that this season they manage to finish in a position that is better than last season, of course it will not be easy because this season they have Tottenham, they have Manchester United, they have the arsenal that are teams that will surely fight a lot to occupy positions 3 to 6. one that for me the first to third position will be occupied by City, Liverpool and chelsea

Indeed,,, we can all say whatever we can, stats will show what they do and history will suggest a picture that we can follow but the best thing about a new season is a reset, and with teams like Villa, Coutinho was a big swoop and now made permanent, I believe they just need to find a way to be consistent.

But the weight of pressure from expectations is something smaller teams will always struggle with. Everton will have less expected and could perform better for it.

The important question now is who is next for Stake? Wink

Was he just so bad or did his attitude once more cause him to lose? What a shitty way to start weekend  Angry

I watched part of the match, and other games he played... and I am avoiding to bet on him (even if he is a strong layer with "strong" tennis and strong first serve).
Against Hurcacz was able to win the first set "easy"... break point at end of the set and easy 6-4. But Probably he is not in the best physical and mental form (you can see just counting smashed rackets...).

Berrettini has the potential to place himself on top of Wimbledon, I will not surprise if he can reach another final even this year.

I guess strong is something that grass just totally defeats, and for some players, they prefer to work on their strengths rather than improve weaknesses, maybe he is one of those types,,, thinks he can do just enough and hope the opponent has the same strengths, then defeats them on power alone. Strong first serve but it was his opponent with more points on first serve it seems now I read the reports.

Another day, another chance Smiley
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this Golf Strategy? [Betting €5400 on the US Open] on: June 20, 2022, 07:01:46 AM
I totally agree with swogerino,,, almost risk free is as good as high risk when the results do not go your way.

I can compare this to rolling dice at 1% house edge for 1.01 profit (you still have 2/100 losing outcomes). Sounds perfect because it is in our minds virtually impossible to hit on one big roll but so many people lost before including me.

I think a riskier yet better bankroll approach is to go for the ones you think have outside chance to win like above 5x-20x.

Then as tournament progress, those below 5x who do not perform if they dip, you also bet on them.

I honestly did not see Warriors winning at all, obviously no Curry FMVP in that case but if they won, Curry FMVP made sense of course, it always made sense on the first year as well, iggy? really? Anyway, I was hoping for another Suns finals, which they failed to go to even conference finals this year and got beaten by Dallas which had a horrible start to the season and recovered very well.

I assumed it would be a Suns vs Heat or Suns vs Sixers and I was wrong on both sides, glad that Warriors won but upset that all of my outrights were wrong. Congratz on getting your win, it is definitely a good feeling to get that and I believe it is a good show of expertise.

Well,,, the odds itself was not too far away as an underdog,,, for me whenever it is less than 4x then it is more than 1 in 4 possibility, at least in basketball or tennis it seems. So not really an expert just luck, believe me Wink

Always there is next season for you, but at least you do not go all the way to the final and lose, sometimes that seems like way worse for me than not even getting close.

232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io UEFA Nations League Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: June 19, 2022, 02:12:43 PM
English players there are some humble ones but overall as a team they just feel so overrated. I do not really get it too,,, super talents players but put them in 11 and they play like junkies.

Only a selective few them are good players, vast majority of the rest are average players that are just overhyped by the English media and EPL being very popular league where we get to see these guys play week in week out, we tend to believe they really are good players, quite a number of them wouldn't even get called up into some national team if there were to be from another country.

Indeed,,, they do have world class players but so does every national team,,, since being national is the very definition of world class but a true generational talent they maybe have Kane but I am biased him being from Spurs and even I would say just Trent as a standout rightback but he does not even play the same formation or style. Midfield I think Gerrard and Lampard were way better.

Totally overhyped and worse,,, they cannot play properly in a team for some weird reason!

234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 19, 2022, 12:07:08 PM
congrats on a bet won, and congrats to Warriors on title
it was all over in first half, and it is done on experience, Celtics are good team, but you need to be best, if you want to take the title, and you have to have Curry in a form, or someone in extra form to have Curry down

Curry deserved MVP title, congrats to him, and he supports crypto and NFT's, so plus for him

with all said, I do not expect from them to repeat this next season

Thank you thank you, it was a nice win for me,,, this particular period did not place much bets but decided to go with Curry and his team in bets and predictions and it all paid off.

Celtics are a good team but Warriors winning half of the last 8 championships probably makes them an even better team.

I did not know he supported Crypto too actually, does he just own them or he also did Saylor BTC buy  Wink
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: June 19, 2022, 10:49:33 AM
One strategy could be to pick against all the favorites though, and you only need one or two of the big upsets here to make money from the whole thing. Actually I might try that with $1 on all of them Wink
Yes good strategy on betting for these UFC fight nights.
Usually there are a few upsets and the heavy underdog has a good opportunity to win their bout against a heavy sided favorite.
But a good tip I always do is: Bet on the other markets when in doubt.
Such as Will the fight go the distance or over and under rounds for you selections.

I forgot to place my bets for this one actually,,, I had quite a number of freebets won from prediction contest (the NBA Finals one) so for a first time I believe I actually won a bet AND freebet betting on the underdog there!!

Last night seems there was a new record for KOs in a card too,,, from what I read on the news,,, that itself is quite another strategy, to bet on/against KOs in all the fights.

Did anyone make money last night? Wink

At this stage maybe Villa is a bit better? They may look similar right now given the latest season ending, but Villa seems like an overall better team for the long term, the yhave the players for it. I believe that Everton will get better a bit later. I am imagining its going  to be like 5 seasons of Villa finishing better or at least "should" finish better, and after 5 seasons its going to be Everton finishing better or at least "should" finish better.

Why? Because Villa is a better overall team according to me right now, I might be wrong, I could be proven otherwise, and odds will show if I am wrong or not. But Everton just made a huge chunk of revenue maker for themselves, which should mean that over course of next decade, they will slowly get better and better each year probably.

Yes,,, I do agree. Villa look much better, they have a proper manager who has proven himself and won honors already in Scotland (take into account he did an Invincibles season there AFTER 10 years domination from Celtic) whereas Lampard has almost nothing to his name except a squad at Chelsea he could not do much.

But Everton do have finances and a big fan base and a lot of talent that Ancelotti proved were actually good.

I do agree. But I disagree on points above of relegation and who has 'better' chance.

HOLY WOW Steve and guys you beat SKYBET (I see Skybet on my stream all the time watching EPL)! And you are crypto too, everyone will know now

Meanwhile,,,

Sao Paolo game did not disappoint, only in the winner. Like arallmuus says,,, it is never over and I think we saw 2 or 3 Soccer Blackjacks where we hit over 21 points and only had 1 goal in the game thanks to Brazilian yellow card league and 20 minute injury time  Grin

Yes leea-1334 no problem with that im from a blessed earth for football. The city of Messi, Bielsa, Di Maria, Banega, Correa, Martino and a lot more players.

HAHAHA not here we dont have so much russian influence in that kind of issues, but if you search you can see the FIFA put some eyes in this not clean transaccions.

I am always so jealous of football in South America,,, Although recently there are comments from people even like Arsene Wenger whom I respect a lot, that somehow looks down on the development of sports there.

He has a point, that Europe is the best for facilities and for encouragement of player development but what saves football and makes it big in South America is the culture there and the respect footballers have.

In Asia footballers are seen as a poor career and sports in general, there is a lack of respect and admiration for it.

238  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: June 17, 2022, 09:11:49 AM
Villa and Everton are equally not at risk, so not sure why you say it like this. You realize Everton only relegated TWO times in their history and the last time was 1950?

Villa relegated in 1987, and then in 2016 and stayed there until 2018. How long you watching EPL?

look at what i said, villa has a good coach and made good signings, now look at verton, everton coach Is frank lampard and i haven't seen (at least for now) great signings at everton, now look at others teams and ask yourself:

How far can everton go this season? Can they be 1 to 10 or 10 to 15 or will they be in the last 5 fighting to not be relegated? just look at all the teams and you'll understand what I'm trying to say

Well as I pointed out the stats and history show the proof. Villa was relegated 5 seasons ago. Yes they got good players now but we also saw teams self destruct trying to buy quality without having a good foundation. I still say Everton and Villa are more or less equal in terms of relegation risk and position. I did look at all the teams and well,,, I guess we will find out anyway this coming season. I do like Villa a lot for sure, so if they get into Europe spot that would be very nice as well.

This is why I do not think that Everton will be amazing right away. However, we should remember that Everton is still a premier league team, even if the relegate, they are still in EPL and that is still awesome.

Yes,,, never thought they would be amazing, they definitely bought themselves and thought they could do magic but money is not everything too, they forgot to change the mentality as well!

Yes @leea-1334 UFC seems to be picking up the pace during the summer time now is upon us. Marketing is their only route so their fan-base is to aware when and who the next contenders will face off in the octagon.

UFC ESPN 37 is on this weekend and here is your chance to put in your picks for the next round of the multimaster challenge sponsored by Sportsbet.io:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5402605.0

Good luck to everyone who decides to participate in this one!

Already done yesterday and thanks for the reminder,,, I saw a LOT of heavy favorites in the selections though (based on the odds given by Sportsbet) so I only made my mind up for about 5 of the matches and went everywhere else with the favorite.

One strategy could be to pick against all the favorites though, and you only need one or two of the big upsets here to make money from the whole thing. Actually I might try that with $1 on all of them Wink

4:0 at home, against team like Hungary shouldn't happen even if they have 2 players more on the pitch. That is proper embarrassment, but I always like to see England struggling a bit since they are usually very arrogant and they have double standards for their own players. If opponent attacker tried a dive like Kane to get penalty in that game they would have it on front page of every newspaper but when their own players do it, conveniently fair play gets forgotten.

Same here. Kane is my man at Spurs so of course it hurts to see him on the losing side,,, just as it hurts to see Son lose with South Korea but if I have to choose any time I prefer to see him lose with England than with Spurs.

English players there are some humble ones but overall as a team they just feel so overrated. I do not really get it too,,, super talents players but put them in 11 and they play like junkies.

I don't know if anyone else noticed but the remaining are just like 16-17 games max and they are in a consecutive week day by day from 22-27 September. There are only 51 points in total before the tournament ends so these are really just 5-6 days of games and then this pool is over.I believe this to be the shortest pool beside the Euro and World Cup ones or Afcon ones which are just one month long.Nevertheless this is showing to be one of the most interesting pools so far, personally although I am sitting 6th I don't expect that in the end I will be one of the 5 winners of the pool.

So we are halway through but we have to wait like 3 months,,, but right after that World Cup so we are all good Wink
