621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 24, 2022, 10:12:27 AM
International break sucks. For me as long as Kane and Son do not get injured I am happy. South Korea has a tough game against Iran and that is the games I always worry about. Kane is great but Son is the most important player for me.
It's the only sport for me, that I couldn't care less about international fixtures. Don't get me wrong, I like a bit of the world cup, but other than that I'm not all that bothered. I obviously like to see Wales win, and do well in the competitions, but the same amount of passion that I have in boxing, MMA or Rugby just isn't there in the internationals for football. I much prefer club football, maybe because the level is higher? I don't exactly know the reason, but it seems that most football fans see it this way.

The biggest issues about internationals for me is that almost every single time a key player gets injured.

Football is also the only thing I watch, and I do not even watch a lot, just whenever Spurs comes. I started following Italian league but actually because of Sportsbet pools so I guess I can blame them for increasing my interest,,, I am generally not even very interested in Sports and World Cup my country also does not play so no interest.

It is for sure about quality in Europe club football and for some reason also the fans are much more passionate. And the commentators are so cool too sometimes. I never understand the painting face with your flag and watching your national team every few years but otherwise they do not even watch the game properly, just eating and going WOOO when there is a goal. Even Olympics is more "important" in a way.

Thank you Steve and everyone at Sportsbet for making this promotion,,, I think it has been part of my daily life for such a long time that it is almost the top thing I think about when I have my coffee break to go on to Sportsbet Smiley

Best promo on forum ever!

All good things come to an end,,, but like Multi Master we all hope to see Soccer Blackjack return in the near future!
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 24, 2022, 08:04:41 AM
South Korea are much luckier than its neighbor country Japan to be placed in group A as it is much easier to contest for a top 2 spot on the ladder in group A. South Korea and Iran have already secured their qualification for the world cup and both of these teams could play the upcoming match today without much pressure on their shoulders, I guess there is a chance for this match to ends up with a goalless draw today.

I am definitely supporting South Korea here and as you said they already have no worries so can experiment and give game time to their fringe players but I still expect they will play their stars,,, sometimes I feel it is important for some of these players to gain more caps and more goals, just something for the individual. Son is assist king and he will enjoy the internationals too, 2-2 is my pick Smiley
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Solana have a future? on: March 24, 2022, 06:44:42 AM
Not saying that SOL is a scam but it does not at all look different from other "challenger" networks. Tries to get Defi in, then tries to get nft in and now gaming and metaverse also.

Only pro is cheap fees.
I would have to say that it is clear to me we are not going to end up with a big deal out of "all" coins. I mean it is obvious that some of them will fail. Maybe it is the veteran in me, but I know that shiba and the likes will fail, the memecoin ones. How do I know this? Because if a project is basing all of the success on hype alone then it will die, hype is temporary and it will not continue.

What I believe however will happen is that we will see a lot more people making a better coin or token, where the features and the roadmap has serious stuff in it, even better there will be some new features that we haven't seen before, those will succeed.

Honestly speaking,,, one does not need to be a veteran to know that all memecoins will eventually fail because of the reason you say. Nothing but hype, and spending new money on marketing to get more new money in.

And if we are being objective things like Solana are exactly the same.

Roadmap? Serious stuff? I thought you were a veteran;) That used to be all that ICOs did. Some of the best scams had brilliant whitepapers and roadmaps. New projects do not even bother these days with whitepaper Smiley

Yes but I move a lot because of my work and currently I am in Western Balkans, enjoying my time here honestly as the food is great compared from where I come from because Europe is well known for the best food in the world at least for me.As I said no need to PM Steve,I am passing the prize to the next guy which can use it as he see fit.

It is forbidden every website that has the word "bet" in it from the government in a tentative to stop people gambling at bet365 which was massively used but people still use VPN-s to access it through the alternate locations so by doing so they have also limited other sites.Of course I can access Sportsbet with a VPN but that would risk my account a thing which I don't want.

The good thing is if I win again the yellow cap,it will be passed to the very next person who replies after me at that time so I see it as a positive.

What I meant about PM-ing Steve was to alert him about your account issues not the freebet Smiley I actually also have issues, but once Steve makes notes of your account then SB has no issues with you later on, as they know you are a good user (not a bad user). This clears you for any future use if you have to move or use different access. So you can use without fear Smiley

Just reading back the posts, so it seems buwaytress actually got the most points from all of us but only got $20 usdt from that (you mentioned in Sportsbet main thread)?

So we all who got so few points got more than you, but in the form of a freebet Smiley

Of course, it still does not mean it is more worth to lose because if you end up being 2nd spot with few others, your share could be bigger.

My selections -->
Arkansas Razorbacks and Under 154.5
Michigan Wolverines and Over 135.5
Texas Tech Red Raiders and Over 136.5
Houston Cougars and Under 145.5
Purdue Boilermakers and Over 137.5
Kansas Jayhawks and Under 141.5
UCLA Bruins and Over 141.5
Iowa State Cyclones and Over 134.5

627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League Thread 2021/2022 on: March 23, 2022, 11:14:02 AM
And my personal thanks for managing all the special prediction threads for Championship. I have to admit I do not know most teams there except of course from previous participation in the Premier League but it makes me wonder, with people like Norwich, Watford and now Fulham, if it is very common for teams that drop to go next season as champions in their league.

This should be something nice to bet on,,, except it keeps your bet locked in for 1 year  Cheesy
Norwich City actually have been one step on relegation drop to championship next year behind 8 points from latest team relegation as Everton but still have two match left. Norwich City have play with 29 games and left 9 games although have half of left match play as home, still not give guarantee for Norwich City could save from relegation and back drop to championship competition. Another team maybe Watford as candidate for drop to championship competition have 22 points and behind 3 points from Everton as collected 25 points but Everton have play 27 match and Watford have 29 match.

I know duh Smiley Why are you summarizing something everyone obviously knows and is not about the Championship anyway Smiley

I was referring to when they and Watford dropped out of the Premier League and got relegated to Championship, but then fought to win the Championship the very next season. Fulham also look like they might go and do this too and I wondered or asked if this was a common thing because if so, it would be really cool to bet on the odds like this except your money stays in there the whole season.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎰 Sportsbet.io 🎰 "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: March 23, 2022, 09:43:43 AM
So I guess the lower you go in the league the less points you can expect,,, since both games yesterday were low busts,,, looks like an issue of few corners rather than goals or cards though.

But we have another unknowable quantity today as well as the first selection is Women's football! Italians v French. I put a regular bet on this, who knows Smiley

OK so today the Multi Master unlocked for me and I went in and this time did not even look at the odds, I just picked everything totally random.

My the gods of basketball be with me, and not with all of you Wink (Trying to wish it correctly this time!!)

Hey everyone, looking at here and other threads it seems not only am I not seeing the Betfree promos but even the "normal" promos are not available to me anymore. Speaking about the March challenges and the March Madness I see all of you discussing in the other threads. How sad  Tongue

Try to contact Steve about it directly then? He helped me a lot already and whenever something went offline for me, he helped to fix it directly. It is just an issue of your location I guess.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League Thread 2021/2022 on: March 22, 2022, 02:15:51 PM
We are taking well deserved break from EFL Championship and next round is scheduled for April 1, and that is not a joke Wink
To sum up pervious round and state on table, we have Fulham strong in first place followed by Bournemouth, but my biggest surprise is Luton climbing on third place!
It's shame to say that Derby is now last placed team in the league with 25 points eight less than Reading who is on safe zone edge.
Miracle repeat is going to be mission impossible this season for Derby and coach Rooney, with only six round left to the end of seson.

And my personal thanks for managing all the special prediction threads for Championship. I have to admit I do not know most teams there except of course from previous participation in the Premier League but it makes me wonder, with people like Norwich, Watford and now Fulham, if it is very common for teams that drop to go next season as champions in their league.

My honest 2 cents is that all altcoins have potential. But also,,, all scam coins have potential.

Not saying that SOL is a scam but it does not at all look different from other "challenger" networks. Tries to get Defi in, then tries to get nft in and now gaming and metaverse also.

Only pro is cheap fees.

Just my opinion.

Hi everyone. I normally discuss this on the discussion rev thread but it seems there is one just for NCAA here.

I very happily found out that I got a USDT reward from the Sportsbet Multi Master contest. I only got 6 points but I guess that even qualifies for 4-10th prize which is 50 USDT Smiley

Nothing more to spend it on except Internationals, but I hope to get better with Sweet Sixteen. As Trofo says, good luck bastardos!

633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 22, 2022, 08:49:46 AM
International break sucks. For me as long as Kane and Son do not get injured I am happy. South Korea has a tough game against Iran and that is the games I always worry about. Kane is great but Son is the most important player for me.

That looks good too but I cannot access anymore Sportsbet site from where I am located now and that is why I had already decided to give the prize away even if I was the only person winning the yellow cap.
Rdbase can do that instead of me and send us all mbtc as you say,I like the idea but in the end is his choice.

That is really sad to hear swogerino,,, have you moved somewhere else or is this temporary? I think if you PM Steve he can see if you have any option of access. Currently my location allows me but if I use to connect from my office, where the private connection is located in a different server it also does not let me, so I know the location exclusion is purely based on the server location (since my work is in the same country).

8-10 rounds left in all seasons, may the best guy win!
No, no, no that is way to nice. You were looking for a phrase like "May the luckiest bastard win" or something similar. That one is actually my favorite and i always use it in situations like this. Of course I mean "bastard" in best possible meaning of the word Smiley

Screw international break, this will be boring 10 days. Hope to prove me wrong but I seriously doubt it.

Same,,, I was just thinking teams either hate or love the break. If you have negative momentum like Torino and Empoli (I hate Torino keep losing my bets why I bet on them) then you hope the break gives you reset. If you have good momentum though you lose it from the break. No team in Italy now has "good momentum" though the longest win streak now is,,, Juventus at 4 Wink

And Hahaha okay noted,,, ok we have a phrase I sometimes hear being used and I sort of say a similar version but it can translate something like 'go shitheads and be the shittiest you can be' but that is in the best possible non-meaning of the word also.

So in that spirit, be shitty everyone!
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin, Dogecoin Gain After Musk's Tweets, But Will There Be Another Bull Run? on: March 21, 2022, 02:12:38 PM
I guess so,,, but now even above 250 satoshi per doge feels like a big slump from 1000 satoshi but still this is way more than a year ago at 50 satoshi,,, it is wonderful for a joke coin. And over the years it always goes up and up in terms of BTC price. Other memecoins have not copied this pattern yet Smiley
From 1000 to 250 sats is really a big dump but yeah the price of dogecoin is so much better now compared to when its price before it got hyped. It's really amazing because who would have thought that a joke coin that everyone else is making fun of will jump thru the roof one day?

But, doge doesn't goes up year after year and its increase have come to an end by the time people figured out that they are only being fooled by Elon and Elon stop mentioning the coin from his tweets but it looks like he was back at it again but right now we haven't seen a big difference in the price of doge or see lots of publicity news about it, maybe people really learned their lesson.

Yep,,, 75% dump sounds big but we have all seen this happen and much deeper crashes with even Bitcoin,,, while on the other hand most alts are not even up to the 2017 ATH, so they are way, way down the ladder. In this kind of relative comparison, I would say Doge is a success.

Even when it comes to acceptance right now I can name many services accept Doge, even more than I can name services accepting some other coin like SOL, much less other memecoins like Floki.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 21, 2022, 12:38:16 PM
Most retired footballers are still in the industry grabbing opportunities that are related to their profession and that I think will benefit the organization as well as the retired players. It's better to grab opportunities that are closer to their passion except for investing because they could still excel in the field despite their age.

Not really sure what on earth are you talking about but I always feel that some retired footballers should not waste time being pundits or experts if they actually did not learn anything much,,, I have respect for all athletes but just because you used to play football does not make you a great manager or commentator Wink

I use jinx protection special card  Cool Cool Still plenty of games to be caught up, but I won't make it easy for you guys.

Sometimes there are some competitions I always wonder if I am the jinx for others,,, like Poker if I did a wrong choice it affects the guy next to me. Thankfully,,, results in pool are all about individual so you can take full responsibility for success and failure.

8-10 rounds left in all seasons, may the best guy win!
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: March 21, 2022, 12:05:23 PM
Yes exactly. Who wouldn't take the consolation prize for having the closest to 15 correct anyways?
The leaderboard so far is looking like there will be top 5 who are in the running to win.

Remember, this is round 1. So there is likely they will have one more the remaining ladder of matches up until The Last Dance of the tournament.

New round is up now but have to place a bet,,, I thought I have been doing nothing but placing bets every day but I guess as soon as new round comes they want you to bet fresh! So I have to wait for bet to settle before I can see what the selections are but do you know how many teams left are there? Just wondering what strategies to use for Round 2 if there is any Wink

639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt market today on: March 21, 2022, 10:42:29 AM
Then we might as well say we would be happier if Bitcoin was at ATH or at $100k then,,, of course everyone is happier if prices increase right? Well maybe except for leverage traders doing nothing but short trades. Which is why all of these levels now will not likely last because of short trading and for sure a lot of limits are also set at $50k BTC or $3k ETH Wink
For me $100k is out of the reach for this year, possible $50k, but I will not be surprised that we won't touch it as well. What I'm saying is that we are in bear market, so prices is very volatile but at the end of the day there is no dramatic rise in price like last year wherein we have a new all time high. So it's better to put on a conservative price. Same for altcoins, if bitcoin doesn't move that much this year, expect that the altcoin market might bleed.

Yes, I know and everyone knows what you said duh Smiley And yes $50k is more possible than $100k but maybe you missed my point, that whenever I see someone say they would be happy for X price and that X is a higher price than current,,, I just roll my eyes and say duh of course. Who is not happy if prices go up unless they are short sellers.

Why is it 'better'  to put on a conservative price? How does that affect the actual price? What exactly do you mean by 'so volatile' and yet 'no dramatic rise'?
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 21, 2022, 10:09:39 AM
Waha @Trofo I do remember,,, and I think the people who had the most fun seeing Arsenal like that of course was Spurs. But then karma bit us back and then just 3 games later they were above us  Cry

Very short round with rather predictable results in the end I would say,,, I just wish some of my "against the flow" bets would turn out.

Well done to swogerino and rdbase for getting the double yellow caps Smiley And why not instead of giving away freebet, put it on 100x bet, if you win, you can send us all mbtcs  Cool
