841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 14, 2022, 10:04:12 AM
Napoli found back to its strength they had in the beginning of the season. Haven't lost a single game in a while and won 4 out of the last 5 games while both Inter and Ac Milan left points on the table the last 5 games. It definitely makes the league interesting and we can look forward to some exciting games when the top teams meet head to head. I would say it is an open race now, hard to tell who will be on top in the end.

Atalanta I agree is the one who is letting down a lot of people including myself,,, they were very good before the winter but have not been able to score as freely as before, while Napoli is slowly but surely gaining back strength. Inter is going to be the one to feel the most pressure I guess but they are used to it. Exciting league for all of us without a true club to support Smiley

Thank for for the freebets Steve! I got them here, so happy Smiley

It definitely looks like you guys all had a really big night. The Rams looked good for the money even though by 3rd quarter huge comeback from Bengals made it look like it was not going to be their night.

Sportsbet should be happy with all the buzz,,, did anybody win something big? I cannot wait to see crazy bets win something!

Today you do not even need a whitepaper anymore, people will invest in something that gives them 300x APY if they see it.
You are right. I have a friend who literally invested into some shitcoin IDO just recently, his own words were "I will sell as soon as it goes up", and that's it, that's all he cared about when getting into it, he didn't care about the project, he didn't care about what they were trying to do. All he cared about was being first, get whitelisted, buy as much as he could afford, see it hopefully do 10x on early periods, then get out as soon as possible.

If people keep investing this way, then they will end up losing money all the time and there is no way to get out of constant debt they are in (or loss). People need to check these projects a lot more carefully and not only care about the short term profits.

He is not the only one. Even project owners do not care about the project. It is not that I dislike all of these coins and defi and nft whatever,,, the problem is the same people running ICOs are the same ones running these projects and the buyers are the same. Funny to see defi projects now do nft games and also metaverse,,, it is one big merry go round with the same pump and dump mentality.

I am already in profit now and even the lowest point of the last year and this still put me in profit,,, but I totally learned my lesson of ICO days where all the ICO coins I have now even at the highest point of last year was still way low in loss.

I guess newbies all need to lose money first to truly learn this lesson Smiley
In 2017 the ICO coins every time after listing got pump more than 10x and seeing that everyone began to invest in ICO but after then the trend end up because of market crash and now people invest with caution in ICO so now only those ICO get success which bring something special to get the attention of the community and only that get success in price rally.

You are wrong,,, people are not investing with more caution. No different from IDO era now or rather starting even from 2020,,, people were putting really nonsense tokens on Uni and Pancakeswap and they were even easier to pump because you could just trade/swap from your own LPs.

Today you do not even need a whitepaper anymore, people will invest in something that gives them 300x APY if they see it.

ICO days have gone so we should accept the fact that we can no longer make decent amount of profits from ICOs these days. However, do not be confused with the market. Its always been unpredictable, but let's admit the fact that the market volatility is the main reason why most of us are still making unexpected profits till now. Yes, a lot of predictions have been out in the market but we are not obliged to follow them. Let's make our own market analysis that is based on facts and from our own technical and fundamental market details.

Tell that to all the IDO, NFT, Defi, metaverse projects that are still hot and launching every day on all those Uniswaps/Pancakeswaps/Whateverswaps,,, Still people believe tokens can x10. Aaxie youtubers were so crowded and saying x1000 by end of 2021 and now most have left quietly I guess after price crash.

Hope they got a good education at least.
849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touched $43k, from $33k in two weeks on: February 11, 2022, 02:02:12 PM
If people are in Bitcoin and not know that news can and always has affected market situations,,, then I guess they have a lot to learn. If you went to any basic school you learn a bit about economy and the past market crashes like the great depression.

This does not equip you with any better knowledge about where the market will move though. Hence people think they can always outguess and get rich in the process.

Hodl Bitcoin.
You know what they say, there is not really better teacher than experience, it is easy for people to think that they are going to come to this market and that they will make a lot of money, but it is not until they experiment a drop in the price of bitcoini n which we can tell if they have what is necessary to succeed or not, after all how many people got scared and sold their coins when the price of bitcoin dropped? I think many people did that and now they are probably lamenting their luck, when in fact luck had nothing to do with it, and it was their lack of experience what made them to lose their money during that drop.

I definitely can back this up,,, I learned very hard lessons in the early periods when I got into crypto. At least I knew I could lose money,,, I just did not know I would lose almost all of it investing in crap. Everything that survived well had a true utility, and nothing beats that factor for Bitcoin, followed by Ethereum.

But I guess some people need many lessons. But they find it in the wrong place, predictions.

853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin overtakes USD dollar? on: February 11, 2022, 06:49:30 AM
I think before anybody can talk about Bitcoin overtaking any kind of fiat money,,, it must have the same characteristics that show USD use.

Everybody even outside the US demands or charges things in US dollar. Even people who use euro in national and Europe, if they bill people online or they talk about cost they equivalent it to US dollar. Never Bitcoin to what I can see except in pure crypto circles.

I think everybody here loves Steve. He makes the issues you have his,,, perfect way to say it. Now with my experience however I no longer worry about any prizes or promos. I wait and they come smooth like chocolate  Grin  But yes, if it does become a real issue Steve just makes everything fine. Cannot believe we deal with so many other places that have not even 10% of the support.

oh and congrats CLS63 for the win again, and something nice to remember your win by,,, I also got an unexpected prize from Afcon which was 1 mbtc freebets split into two. I used them both and did not win unfortunately, but came so close. Put them on Italian/English multis. Italians all won, English ones did not  Grin

Amazing win for Southampton and Sportsbet against Tottenham today!
They played much better in second half and won with great fashion in match with five goals, making them go to 10th place above Leicester and Aston Villa.
Not easy schedule for Saints in net two matches as they have to face Manchester United and Everton.

Ya, they even scored the own goal to try and help Spurs but we just look so bad I think even Conte is losing his mind now. Spirits were so high after we scored 2 last minute goals to win 3-2 against Leicester and Kane looks like he is picking up form but well!

Saints if they even get 2 points from next 2 games is huge but I feel like they can beat those 2 teams. Remember, they stole 1 point from City too,,,

Not rocket, just liftoff. Not yet leave atmosphere Smiley
Other coins are up as well, and some of them are much higher than bitcoin too in this spike (not price, just % amount they went up). If this keeps up, we are going to have a bull season for sure. When people start to make a lot of money from crypto, they put more money in and there is a very good period where everyone just throws money at everything and things go wild. I do not know if that will be the case here as well but I know that it will certainly look great for a while longer.

The trick in the market is that when things are looking fine and everyone is happy with what they have, it is very rare that you could make "all" of them shocked, because there needs to be at least someone profiting from market movements changing, if you find that, you find when.

I never really trust those small market cap coins. A few thousand dollars buying back and forth can produce volume,,, and then the same holders can use the wash trading to inflate prices articially. You know the story. Bull season is for me always only for the old coins with big market cap and many different platforms to exchange with large volume. Otherwise I consider all fake data.
856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: February 10, 2022, 12:36:57 PM
This is why I feel like there is a good chance you could actually end up with a good profit thanks to this in the long run and that is it. Aside from that all other predictions are for fun but unfortunately there are too many people out there who gets fooled by all these so called influencers and they end up losing their money based on it.

I am already in profit now and even the lowest point of the last year and this still put me in profit,,, but I totally learned my lesson of ICO days where all the ICO coins I have now even at the highest point of last year was still way low in loss.

Do not worry pinggoki,,, all of us who gamble should know the golden rule,,, which is the same in crypto. Do not use money you cannot afford to lose.

And anyway what is the point of saying you are a user at a casino and you never wager? Or never try to make top spot?

Slaman29, I saw you made it to the daily wager at Position No. 9 congrats to you. It was all your earlier posts of participating that made me try previously and I got it, so it is still possible to win some good spots with high Return on Wager Wink
859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 10, 2022, 06:44:13 AM
I actually cannot believe that nobody thought Southampton would win? I mean,,, I 100% always pick Spurs no matter what and honestly sometimes I wish I was not a fan because I deep down thought a loss was possible and if according to your analysis, they should have lost early, then Conte really has a big problem on his hands!

So bad run for me and it continues,,, 1 close and 1 exact and this was the favorites.
860  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in Rocket 🚀 mood. on: February 09, 2022, 02:00:33 PM
You are right, this is kinda usual for us. So what is now? We have -2-4% from yesterdays highest price. Soon people would wake up, check cmc, coingecko or any other tracker on their mobile phones and will rush to forum, to create hold-bear-buy deep-sell-make predictions-post graphs-try to act as an analytic posts. But the fact is, the rocket isnt flying anywhere close to moon, it just flies parallel land Smiley

And we are back up again,,, so everything is out again. Yes not yet at above 45k yesterday but still looks like a strong move up. This is the expected test of 45k getting ready and we should expect a few more tests,,, each fail could bring us back to danger zone below 40000 but I think we need a couple of weeks more to see who is more "ready" to commit.

Not rocket, just liftoff. Not yet leave atmosphere Smiley
