2201  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Mining on an old phone on: January 06, 2019, 08:28:22 AM
Why don't you try Electroneum. Their platform offers mobile mining and I think it is the pioneer in this field. You can download their digital wallet (miner at the same time) in the Google Play Smiley.
2202  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crushing some crypto myths for newbies on: January 06, 2019, 07:00:13 AM
Most importantly, if the market is going bad, don't rely on any crytpi experts. No one owns the market and no one knows how the market will behave. play it safe and you will be good.
You nailed it! Sad to say but that is one of the major mistakes done by the beginners in the crypto world — believing too much in FUDs. Every time there are slow pace recovery of price or even occasional huge dips they suddenly panic and already jump into conclusion that btc is dead and the alike Roll Eyes. I feel pity for them.

Each one of us should learn to interpret the market by our own and only set the news that we heard as a guide. You should be the one who make decisions for the prosperity of your money, if you let those crypto analyst or so called "experts" manipulate you then the blame is on you once you lose because you are careless to let others decide instead of yourself who owns the money in the first place.
2203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Question] What will happened to Bitcoin if there's no miner? on: January 06, 2019, 03:49:30 AM
the same thing will happen when all the BTCs are mined, there will be no more supply and probably BTC will start growing sky high.

it will happen in more than 100 years from now so you can not possibly begin to predict what will be happening by then. not to mention that in a hundred years from now, bitcoin is either grown fully (as in being mass adopted) or it is simply dead and replaced by something else along the way. in either case there won't be a new growth by then. price might as well be already worth above $10 million per coin.
But I think chances of btc to be replaced is quite higher when that day comes. I guess what will happen is that people will find something new and something more practical instead of sticking to a coin which is already dead. There will be no more investors for btc because everybody is no longer interested, this will result to a very huge dip up to the point where btc will lose its value and just became a memorabilia for one of us. So if eth or xrp able to maintain their good performance 'til that time then probably one of them will become the new king. (IMO)
2204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: January 06, 2019, 01:58:58 AM
<snip>
How make money on betting on esports? This is just the same talking on how to win any gambling game but the fact that gambling can be categorize in 2 things.Luck-based and strategic ones and esports is belonged
on strategic ones which means studying or knowing the teams past history and performance would be a great factor that can help out to make your decision. Why would bet on a team if you do saw
that their stats isnt so good compared to others?
So are you saying that it is easier to win in strategic games rather than lucky based ones? I guess the answer for that is a yes (Ah! I made the right choice). Actually, after hours of researching for types of games where I can gamble, Sports betting is I mostly prefer because I think that it will not be hard for me to adapt since I'm already a sports fanatic. I also know how to analyze each teams and predict who will win thus helping me to always win every time I bet. The remaining things I need to do is to search for a legit gambling site and get to know of its technical rules or how the whole game works and I'm ready to start my journey as a gambler.
2205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins are the best..!! on: January 05, 2019, 12:41:17 PM
Nah, you're a little bit bias because you only put the good side into considerations. Both sides (advantages and disadvantages) are very important for us to compare which really weighs greater.
how many of u agree that the altcoins are the best
Well, it depends on the kind of alt you are pertaining about. If you mean is the new emerging alts then for me their profitability is conditional, it depends on their platform and how they will effectively advertise their coin; on the other hand, if you are pertaining to the old alts then you're right. Stable alts are useful for trading and got smaller transaction fees like eth and xrp.

However, I'm still not considering that alts are the best because if they really are the best in the first place they why they remain in the bottom and can't totally beat btc in the rankings. So we can conclude that btc remains the king among them all.
2206  Other / Serious discussion / Re: My last year greatest mistake, what was yours? on: January 05, 2019, 10:14:01 AM
But I'm going to fix it, just as one of my 2019 goals stated
MY 2019 GOALS
  • To increase my asset portfolio to 90% bitcoin
Oh, I think that would be a tough one but I believe that nothing is impossible. Let's just hope that the bull will come finally this 2019 and for sure everything is gonna be okay Smiley.
I'm going all in (bitcoin) this time around
That was a great decision, I'm glad that you will now stop chasing alts which you don't know if will have a secured future or not. Considering eth is a good move too but if you really want to avoid any kind of alts this time then that's fine.
2207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: January 05, 2019, 08:11:37 AM
I will rather invest my money in altcoin than try my luck in gambling. Not unless they are giving free cash when playing.  Grin
Did you not even realize that investing to alt is also a form of gambling? You are dealing with its fluctuations (that's normal anyway) and don't know whether that coin would have a great future or not.

Honestly, choosing investing over gambling is a good idea, just only be careful on picking the coin. Much safer if you will only choose between the Top 5 coins in the market like eth, xrp, bch etc because they are more stable and trusworthy than others but if you will just use your money for an ICO then I can say that it was riskier or at least same risky as gambling can do. Good luck.
2208  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: January 05, 2019, 07:01:35 AM
The "bullshit"  will soon be over ensure you take advantage  of the  long  bearish market, 2019 is here  the bull run will commence soon ensure you are strategic by investing  in project that is sure to be productive and  valuable.
we shouldn't say that. we must understand any market conditions. are we already know the risk of crypto investment. that prices can fly anywhere. and we must understand that prices do not recover within 1 year. and we have experienced that before. be patient fluctuations will definitely bring prices back up
It seems that he is really pissed off Cheesy. Well, we can't blame him because he maybe lose a lot of money last year (even me will have a possibility to uncontrol my rage).
But based in my experience this 2019, I can say that it was fine. I don't earn lots of profits but also don't lose a lot too — just lying betwren the middle. Actually, I'm very thankful to that "bullshit" somehow because I had the opportunity to buy more in a lower price. Now, I continue hodling and waiting if 2019 will be a good year for all of us.
2209  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Bakit bagsak ang Ethereum?! on: January 05, 2019, 05:47:15 AM
Nah! I don't think so. Eth was well established already(like btc) so hindi na yan babagasak basta basta.

2210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 05, 2019, 04:02:41 AM
James Harden is the best player of the world!!!
This post made my day. Thank you bro but he's not. Yeah maybe he is the best in step backs (sometimes he make travel on it) but to be the best player just because of his performance in his past few games?? Nahhh not that close to the real GOAT. He's talented but he is not close to the real best players.
For me Michael Jordan is the real GOAT. Some might say he is not, that the basketball before is not as complicated and as physical with the kind of basketball today that's why MJ stand out. Nah! Such a ridiculous reason. If that's true then why still no one can beat his record of 6 consecutive championships? (Even the GSW who got a strong roster can't achieve it).
2211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you participated in the "Proof of Keys" event? on: January 05, 2019, 02:19:09 AM
I didn't participate because this is my first time to hear that kind of celebration. I'm going 3 years in the crypto world already and yet I haven't heard something like that in the past. Anyway, I still can't even if I want to because I'm not using an exchange. I'm only a small hodler which means thay all of my coins remain in my wallet as always.
2212  Local / Pamilihan / Re: scam on: January 04, 2019, 02:10:53 PM
please beware scam in fb now especially the thejobpayment.com this website let you register for free and market this website to other fb users.
I visited their website kanina lang para sana malaman yung scheme nila but I failed. Ang sinabi lang dun ay magregister ka and do some tittle work and instant money na Roll Eyes.

2213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The danger is the addiction, not the odds on: January 04, 2019, 10:55:07 AM
Now thats the point. If you would compare the life of an occassional gambler and an addict, you would tell the difference. You see, even the addict spent more time in casino, they are more often to loss money than to win the jackpot. They will try again next time until they dont have anything left. The occassional gambler, although they lost, they didnt take that as big deal and didnt burry themselves deeper.
So called "addicts" in gambling displays more eagerness and willingness to play maybe because it is already their passion or maybe because of greed (unsubconsciously of course). On the other hand, occasional gamblers usually just play for fun or maybe just pushing their luck — only a on shot, big shot attempt. Actually they both loss and they both but you can't conclude that the addict lose more money than the occasional gambler because we don't know their way of betting. Who knows if the addict make only small bets but more frequent and the other one make very huge bets in a single time only?

So for me, the main difference between them is just the intensity of how they're hooked in playing.
2214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 232: Jones vs Gustafsson 2 Prediction and Info Thread on: January 04, 2019, 08:17:11 AM

I agree. We all know how Cain's wrestling in his A-game. And I don't see Francis winning unless he hit Velasquez with a lucky shot. Although it's interesting to see if he is going to be affected by ring rust because his been out for about 2 years, if I'm not mistaken.
Yeah! That would be a great factor. Cain is no longer in shape and it surely takes a lot of time for him to become once again. We all knew that Ngannou is a hard puncher (It's very obvious based with his physique Grin) and if he hits Cain then probably he will break in due time. However, I've already watch lots of fights where wit wins over power (like on Lesnar vs Mir) so it still not impossible for Cain to beat Ngannou — size doesn't matters all the time.
2215  Local / Pilipinas / Re: My experience in cryptocurrency on: January 04, 2019, 07:14:45 AM
Nice kabayan, at least natuto ka na after all the mistakes you have done in the past Smiley.

For me ETN is not a shitcoin and also not a cool coin at the same time. In short, nalugi ako. Kaya from now on, I realized that when you are investing to an ICO it wasn't very profitable kung may iilan ka lamang na coins kasi no choice ka kundi maghodl — mahirap mag adapt.

Well, it's up to you pa rin naman, may kanya kanya pa rin naman tayong mga diskarte. Good luck sa ating lahat Smiley.
2216  Other / Meta / Re: What To Do? on: January 04, 2019, 05:58:50 AM
Well, if the thief already did format my phone then its quite a good news for me.
We hope so.

Here's a friendly tip, if you really have no interest on buying a laptop or can't now afford to buy one then at least buy another smartphone (even mid range only) for you to have a back up.

Actually, that's my way to avoid incidents like this. I have a phone that I only uses for gaming or outdoor purposes and another phone just for storing important files, digital wallet and accounts (including this btctalk account) which I strictly used inside my house only. But since the suspected robber lives also within your house then I guess my advice won't work, maybe the best thing you can do is to get rid of the robber. Good luck Smiley.
2217  Other / Meta / Re: What To Do? on: January 04, 2019, 03:34:21 AM
Someone from our the household might be the thief and thats making me angry right now. For I wasnt worried about the phone but its content on it.
Oh! That's kind of backstabbing at its finest. Does the triator you think about also know what you are doing about crypto? If yes then it will be a lot of problem because he might robbed all the money in your wallet and take advantage with your account as well but if his motive for stealing is just to have a phone then don't worry too much, for sure that he will just do a factory reset on your phone for him to have an access (if your phone have a password) which also means that all the datas in your phone will be erased first before using it.
Edited : As of 10:21 PM (Ph Time) Jan 3 2019 Thursday
I, Mark Clarence Aquino have already changed my password  and also added my 2nd BTC address here on bitcointalk.
Good for you, but how about your coins.ph account? Did you recover it?
2218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 04, 2019, 02:33:13 AM
What are the possibilities for Floyd versus Pacman 2 if Manny wins dominantly where he gives Adrien Broner a pair of biological sunglasses hehehe? High chance, medium or low?

Actually, there's a high possibility of a rematch between Floyd and Manny but I eill not be surprised if some audience will be no longer interested because even me was really disappointed on their last match. I thought that it will be a bloody and action packed but it wasn't. Floyd do nothing but to run, do some punches and run again Roll Eyes.

For me, a more interesting fight to look forward is between Pacman and Maidana. I really exvited for this one, I hope it will happen soon.
2219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will post my predictions starting tomorrow! on: January 02, 2019, 04:28:26 PM

Will Kyrie play tomorrow, what do you think? I hope he will despite of his injury in his cornea. If he doesn't then it will be a big loss for Boston's gameplay tomorrow.

I will look forward to your prediction, let's see what will happen.
2220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you choose? on: January 02, 2019, 02:58:40 PM
<snip>
For me, the financial status of an individual is also a factor to be considered. If you are a person whose crypto is the only way of earning money then of course you will prefer saving than spending because each decimals of it counts and can increase in the future. You will miss the opportunity of earning more if you will spend it now. On the othrr hand, if you only treat crypto as a hobby or just for the sake of cashless transaction and you have a stable source of income then probably it doesn't matter for you to spend at all because what important to you is not the price but dream of a world with cashless transaction — a crypto revolution.
