SpondooliesTech Hammer Chip? 0.58 w/gh? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=521520.0

Spondoolies are around 0.9 w/gh at the wall
2202  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: EMPBitcoin 2TH/s Miner - Escrow Only on: April 01, 2014, 07:25:03 AM
At 0.5 w/gh this would be the most efficient miner available as of now.

Website looks pretty scammy.

Anyways pics or bs.
2203  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 01, 2014, 07:14:58 AM
Almost all of the mining operations have turned out to be scams.  None of them have turned a profit.

False. See asicminer.
2204  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 01, 2014, 05:03:30 AM
Here the option in the email.

Vote "YES" for the reserve fund to cover hosting expenses from the time my personal dividends were insufficient forward.
Vote "NO" to liquidate all Cognitive mining assets and disperse via a large dividend.

Its all of Cognitives mining assets to be liquidated and disperse via a large dividend.

What exactly are all of cognitives assets? Shouldn't he have a huge amount of btc from the extra shares sold?

There should really be an option to liquidate and not shut down.
2205  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 01, 2014, 04:49:08 AM
I had no idea the option to liquidate included shutting down the operation.

How can they have a vote for something so drastic without a financial report. Or did I miss it?
2206  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Newegg sent me a TX750 V3 instead of V2 on: April 01, 2014, 04:28:44 AM
Is it a corsair?
2207  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 01, 2014, 03:39:11 AM
Beside the fact that votes may not be accurate, why would anyone not want to liquidate hardware?

Surely it would be better to find a cheaper datacenter and fill it up with next gen asicminer chips.
2208  Other / Meta / Re: Please remove this user from this forum. on: April 01, 2014, 03:36:18 AM
My account was not sold, that's preposterous. I've never even had anyone offer to buy it!
Oh, sorry. I should have been more clear. I was talking about MPOE-PR's account, not yours. I haven't dealt with you enough to know if you've had a recent personality shift. That being said, buying and selling accounts here is allowed, so I don't really care either way.

Why do you want to be banned so badly? Because of something that didn't even affect you? If that's the case, just leave on good terms and come back once you've calmed down.

It does affect him because he is one of mpex biggest customers/supporters. Without mpoe pr spamming bs all over the forum there will be less noobs lured in to paying the 30btc fee to join the cult.
2209  Other / Meta / Re: Please remove this user from this forum. on: April 01, 2014, 03:33:30 AM
TAT why did you have to sell your soul to the cult of mpex?

It's not the mods job to identify and purge scams.

It is their job to keep threads on topic and remove trolls.

It is not debatable that mpoe-pr is a paid troll and its good he/she is silenced.

But ultimately you are right about this forum being an alternate reality but only compared to the fantasy that mpex cult members are living in.
2210  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: April 01, 2014, 02:09:49 AM
...and why were they were given away for free?....

source? or did you just add that in for effect?

Look at the first post, LMB susidiaries gets 40% of the shares. But in the latest prospectus they have more like 60% of the shares, basically they were given all the unsold shares, I wonder if they paid for them?

Has a company ever had to pay for their own unsold shares during IPO?
2211  Other / Meta / Re: Please remove this user from this forum. on: April 01, 2014, 02:05:32 AM
MPOE-PR perma-banned. His only option to get his account back is an appeal to theymos.

I am not fucking around.

This is the best thing to happen to this forum. Although theymos will probably unban with a little bribe.

Please ban me. I'm serious.

I'll have no part of this bullshit forum anymore.

You ban the only people giving it a sense of reality, the only people questioning things that deserve to be questioned.

You protect the ignorant, the scammers, and the real trolls.

You've got it all backwards just because people are sensitive, sheltered luddites.

In short: Fuck you, motherfuckers.

Ban me.

This is the most immature/arrogant thing I've seen you post on this forum.
2212  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitBet Stole ~$7,000 from me (10 BTC) on: April 01, 2014, 12:59:56 AM
Good news. MPOE-PR was banned for trolling.
2213  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 01, 2014, 12:45:07 AM
While you're at it please take Havelock to court for freezing assets.

Good luck with that.
2214  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: March 31, 2014, 11:37:53 PM
Hi, I'm reading everyone talking about voting results indicating liquidation, and I'm wondering where they are?

Being myself the largest COG shareholder after Garr and not having voted for liquidation, I'm quite surprised of this supposed result.

Did you do your own calculations? You might be the only one who doesn't want to liquidate.

1/3rd earnings already paying for the absurdly expensive electricity.

Max they can earn from mining with 20th is like 50btc.

Max they can earn from liquidation is like 300btc.

Easy choice if you ask me.
2215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: March 31, 2014, 09:31:06 AM

Its only like $250k per day now.

You're not surprised are you? How else are they going to bring online a 10MW solomining empire? Only at 5Ph so far.

2216  Economy / Securities / Re: [Active Mining] The UNofficial Active Mining Discussion Thread [UNmoderated] on: March 31, 2014, 08:25:16 AM
His website has no mention of hashfast boards/chips. Only after prying the info from him it became clear.

You would never see msi attempt to sell an amd powered graphics card passed off as using their own chip.

Producing a miner using another companies chips/schematics does not prove they can competently make their own chip but at least they can put an asic together.

Still the deception/bullshit/incompetence thus far gives me little faith.
2217  Economy / Securities / Re: [Active Mining] The UNofficial Active Mining Discussion Thread [UNmoderated] on: March 31, 2014, 08:15:59 AM
Ok I will apologize if Ken is lying.

Ken explicitly said he is building the boards based on Hashfast's reference design. Is this not the case?

Its hashfasts board. He is only manufacturing it. Nothing on this miner aside from the strange looking heatsink is designed by vmc.
2218  Economy / Securities / Re: [Active Mining] The UNofficial Active Mining Discussion Thread [UNmoderated] on: March 31, 2014, 08:01:52 AM
I think MrTeal should apologize for jumping to such conclusions.

Makes sense though, destroy your competition any way you can.

I think ken should apologize for the heaps of bullshit coming from VMC.

Boards and chips are still branded "fast-hash" even though they are just putting together and reselling hashfast hardware.
2219  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [VMC] Official Virtual Mining Corporation Discussion on: March 31, 2014, 05:26:33 AM
I agree it is a great method if you want to sell chips. Only horrible if you want to retain customers.
2220  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [VMC] Official Virtual Mining Corporation Discussion on: March 31, 2014, 05:15:06 AM
Does that mean that all the boards you currently have/are selling were made by hashfast?

No, these boards were manufactured by us, using the reference design by hashfast.  This is standard procedure in the semiconductor business, AMD had done this for years.

I have no doubt it happens in the semiconductor industry but not in the bitcoin mining industry.

Difference is that bitcoin mining is a zero sum game and hashfast is now selling their proprietary technology to the competition*.

* maybe not competition for hashfast anymore but definitely competition for its customers who have been patiently waiting through months of delays for nothing.
