I'm having a hard time trying to find a good domain (.com) Angry

You could name it Adbitise and get adbitise.com.

Not a bad name.

You would be surprised. There a lot of people in india with a modern computer. And maybe 1 mbps internet.
Yes, but all of these modern computer owner and 1mbps internet user earn more then 50$ per month. Grin

We are talking about this, in case you didn't notice. You pay some bucks to access Internet, and earn something writing posts here (which you wouldn't if you hadn't Internet access). Or elsewhere, doing anything that could possibly yield $2,000 a month (or more, for that matter). At first, Stunna paid 1.2 BTC for 2,000 posts, and if you got in time, you could earn around $1,500 (but that was only once)...

What's wrong with this?
Mate, are you drunken? Honestly...you make a confuse calculation? 0.8BTC =/= 1.2BTC and 0.8BTC =/=2000$. Got the point? Let's talk about facts NOW and not about things monthes or years ago.

Actually, it was you (if I'm not mistaken, too lazy to check) who started with an assumption of $200 per month to get Internet access, lol. What about talking about facts now?
Honestly, go back and check and for the next time read the sentence to understand the meaning. Cheesy

It was a comparison of 50$ monthly income to 5 internet fee (10%), and i ask him who would spend 10% for internet, compared to US 2000$ income, who would spend 200$ (10%) for internet. Got it now? Grin

Thanks for making it clear, it was you after all, lol. So $5 internet fee could possibly give you $600+ now (provided your tongue is long enough indeed, and you know the language to a degree). Not that bad for an investment of $5 if your average income amounts to $50 monthly...

Is this a fact or what?

Sure. 600 usd is 37,536 inr. In India, a lunch it around 100 inr and rent is probably 5k. Posting about bitcoin isn't a bad way to make a living in India assuming you can sell the bitcoins.

I have a suggestion for a theme, well actually for a software. Why not just use smf 1.1.9? It will look almost exactly like btctalk which will make it easy for people to understand if they both use the forums.

Newer software provides the forum with New features.  If I'm right the theme of bitcointalk.org can be used on both updates. But in my point of view its better not to copy everything from this forum.
Also the newest versions have some serious bugs/exploits fixed.

yes we are def not going to use the old version, the look is close enough for anyone to figure out.  it was already a compromise to use SMF 2.x Wink

Just to make things clear, 1.1.9 themes are not compatible with 2.x. Personally I would take 1.1.9 over 2.x any day. Sometimes more features isn't better.

They should put up a review thread so people can give them reviews and such, PLus maybe help out a few people who need help.

By "they" do you mean tigerdirect or CoinsforTech?
Sorry, I meant Tiger Direct.

Well, they do have customer support.
For bitcoin? That seems a little hard for customer reps to understand.

That's true. Why don't you suggest it to them.
2211  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Introducing Hive, a beautiful new wallet for Mac OS X on: February 03, 2014, 01:29:20 AM
Global moderators should be able to aswell, I think. Unfortunately I dont think that he is going to create a sub-forum for a piece of software. Maybe for an altcoin or country, but not for a software. :/

There are already subforums for most major wallets.

Really? I have never seen it. Where are they located?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=37.0

KK thanks. I didnt even know that existed. Maybe you should wait until your out of BETA?

Beta no more: https://github.com/hivewallet/hive-osx/releases/tag/2014012801 Smiley

Wow congrats! Smiley Good luck getting theymos's attention!

Is there anyone heading this up? If not, then i ask why, because there is a defnite need for this type of service.

Is there any admin to address this and us who have funds on the site?
I will release a very similar site in the next 2-3 days, maybe sooner.

Yay! Can we see a preview of it? Also what language is the backend?
PHP

It doesn't look very good, but it's simple and clean.

I would say the development is about 90% complete.

the website looks really good. It would be nice if you accept frk donations.

Well, there is no frankos api which is hosted by anyone else. I would have to run frankos on my server and that would force me to upgrade my vps which costs more....

Too bad, the legendary pizza buyer is no longer here since June 2012.

I suspect the guy is in a great depression. Either that or he has a couple 100k bitcoin and bought an island somewhere

Don't worry he has quite a few more aside for his retirement.

https://blockchain.info/de/address/1XPTgDRhN8RFnzniWCddobD9iKZatrvH4

His final balance is 0...
yes because as btc touches 1000$ few months ago he cashed all and now happy with his million dollar life  Cheesy

If he had waited just a few more months, he could have enjoyed a hundred million dollar life Tongue Well actually 10 mil, but 100 mill sounds "cooler"
2220  Economy / Services / Re: [SERVICE] Torrent Downloader on: February 02, 2014, 03:20:55 AM
Im sorry, what is 1:1 ratio?

1:1 ratio, if your torrent size is 1.5 GB, then i'll download it 1.5GB and seeding that torrent for 1.5GB.. it's very useful when you use private tracker torrent..

Oh. Wouldnt seeding benefit you more than it benefits us?

i think it will be benefiting you, as i say, when you use private tracker torrent, you will need good ratio if you want to stay in that private tracker. They will use your download link torrent as "data" for tracking your sharing ratio. that's why, benefits is in you. Correct me if i'm wrong..

Ahhh ok. Makes sense.
