BTCjam better than you loaned in this forum. Because if you loaned in this forum its have a big risk than BTCjam. Or if you like loaned in this forum maybe you just can loaned for Hero Member with good reputation because most Hero Member is a person who has been long in the bitcoin and possibly trustworthy. you can minimize the risks significantly by only giving out loans when there's a valid collateral.

you're asking if I like the whole genre. I can't answer that. I have a lot of rap music that I think is good but I don't have any favorite rappers.

So collateral is like a solid thing which could be kept as a security correct? and bro I think first i should start with giving low loans ? coz it will be safe for me until i understand, and according to you how much we could make with lending ? sorry I didn't include "what is collateral" in my previous post. edit now. yes, you should start by giving low loans just to be safe. profit in lending comes from from interest so that depends on your rate. most people asks for 10% but TBH the interest can vary based on the amount of a loan. tho I'm not sure if you can get much.

thanks for the post buddy. Sorry but I am a smiley's lover i will try to use them rearly. And my friend i am not sure what a valid collateral is it something like escrow? lol don't worry about the smileys, I was just making a joke. collateral is some kind of assurance. the borrower will give the collateral to the lender/escrow. and if the borrower is not able to repay the loan the lender have the right to hold/sell the collateral. basically the collateral will be yours if they default. you can find what kind of collateral is valid and what is not on this post. bitcointalk accounts can also be used as a collateral, but like I said, not everyone agrees with that way of thinking. oh, and it is advised to use escrow for holding the collaterals.

much smileys, such wow.
here's my advice: for the first few weeks, don't loan anything to other users unless they have a valid collateral that you can sell for 110% (or more) of their loan amount. in that time look around this section for the no collateral loans and learn gradually from them. after that it's up to you whether or not you want to start giving loans without a collateral or not.
I say this because it is hard to understand the no collateral loans if you're still new on bitcointalk. you'll need to learn how to judge users based on their reputation [1] before you start giving them loans without collateral.
[1] some people disagree with this way of thinking and advises others to always ask for a collateral.

Ok, so it seams that the problem is not isolated to an ISP or country, which is a relief. I tried using google and open DNS in effort to resolve the issue but failed. Can anyone else confirm that they also get the issue after opening up bitcointalk in more tabs, maybe it's some sort of defence mechanism to prevent ddos ? It gets really anoying at times, especially when it happens few times in an hour..
cheers
opened 20 pages in different tabs and reloaded 5 times. all pages loads a little slow (as expected) but I see no change.

Just about the policing of accounts - couldn`t it be done based on the user`s ip address? Allow 1 account per ip address, and don`t allow it to change.
I don't know about everyone else. but my IP address changes from time to time. also I accidentally visited this site with proxy a few times. oh, and phones.

No I unfortunately didn't.. I would be happy at least for 60 days ban, because my previous account was banned for 60 days and there was no ban before this. That 0.26 BTC was my last amount of money in bitcoins, so I basically "invested" it and wanted to get something from signature campaigns.. oh hell.. then you probably won't get any refund from magic8all. hopefully badbear might believe you and reduce the ban to 60 days. edit: Ban was solely due to the new owner ban evading, for the second time.
ah. then I guess he won't get a third chance.

Yes, my previous account was banned for 60 days. However, I didn't know about this and I don't get why the ban is permanent..
didn't you know that posting with another account outside of meta while you're still banned counts as ban evasion?

I was getting this as well intermediately. I was attempting to access the forum from my iPhone (US) with no VPN, and was eventually able to access the forum after some amount of time.
this happened to me as well. what's weird is I checked some "is a site down" sites and half of them says that bitcointalk is up while the others said that it's down.. usually all of them says down if I can't connect.

dari screenshot di OP kelihatannya iklan-iklannya kurang banyak. 1 hari cuma dapat 2-6 iklan buat di click.. lbh bagus ikut signature campaign aja dah.

it seems you didn't consider the fact that other people will use this feature for something bad, OP. say Scammer A scammed Victim B for a lot of money. Scammer A share an IP with User C and User D who have their personal information available for everyone to see. Victim B, who lost a lot of money and not thinking right, starts to investigate User C and User D.
the above scenario can happen. and it does not only concern those users' privacy.

By the way, my brother is already member of this forum, will I(or he) problem if we use the same IP but different PCs?
Do you mind if i want to know where country do you live? I think OP is from russia. eighty percent of his post are in the russian board after all.

you should move this topic to the currency exchange OP. it'll get more attention there. there's a move topic button at the bottom left of the page.

I think he meant he lost 543 BTC.
Think for the positive side, if you had 500+ btc to lose, you already are better than most of us
Apparently he wasn't better than all of us if he thought it would be a good idea to gamble away 500 btc. he didn't lose that much. check his previous posts on this thread. I think he only lost few mbtc's.
