2203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [HARDWARE][NVIDIA] Pascal GP106-100 - True Mining GPU on: June 10, 2017, 11:16:28 AM
This news started to circulate with some guy from china posting in the zcash forums followed by what I think are photoshoped pictures of Zotac 1080s and also pictures of stripped down PANGOLINMINER with 8 gpus which looks exactly the same as those pics posted on the rumor post on zcash forum.

having seen all this, I see very little chance of this news being true.

great work! nvidia doesnt play with miners

2205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Speculation Thread (Charts and Analysis Included ;)) on: February 02, 2017, 01:38:40 PM
All bets are off.  Bitcoin is surging once again affecting all altcoins badly.  If I really need to gamble on alts.  I would start looking for bargains at the more solid, proven altcoins with good backing in development.  Altcoins like XMR, ETC and LTC.  Each have an argument for long term success, so why not get into these if they're getting cheap.
you lost your credibility by mentioning LTC

Is it the new confirmation time 30 days?
Why so long?
This is the doing of the exchange itself.

I feel sorry for you guys. The ones that are still stuck here. Sure, the price might gain another 20% over time. But don't hope for moon. Moon is too far out for this project.

This topic was filled with complete idiots during the ICO. Guys like ''Iambitcoin5'' and other fucknuts who hop from one ICO to the other and are now hyping up WAVE instead.

This coin has been hyped, it's shit, you never hear from the actual developers. Barely any public appearances. Meanwhile volume is drying up to the level of other shitcoins.

Just sell already. Sit on a portfolio of ETH + bitcoin. Ignore everything else if you want what's best for you.

Yes.

And where are the devs with constant updates here?  With all such money they should be development going non stop.  They could also easily pay someone cheap monies to cover marketing/promo which includes updates here. Wow. Even devs of lesser coins update their threads way more.  LISK seems to have had potential I admit but even still action has only been pnd thus far.  90% for the volume is just whalebots in action you can easily see.

why are you all so ignorant?
Name one design flaw that Lisk has. instead of bitching about how devs dont waste time on a bitcoin forum.

2211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 02, 2016, 11:34:02 AM
My wallet is currently stuck on block 1,545,550, and I'm only connected to 1 peer. On Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10.5. Can anyone walk me through what to do to reset my peer data, or point me in the right direction if it's already been discussed? Thanks!

EDIT: Ah well no shit... I should have checked my wallet version before posting this Tongue I was on 0.7.3. Updated to 0.7.4, and of course that fixed the problem. Carry on; nothing to see here, folks!

I dont know what is with these wallets. I think it would be time that ethereum team makes a wallet that would work !
I totally agree!!!
freaking jumping through hoops just to get an address to send coins to...

I will tell you all what will happen once the btc halving comes up: the same that happened when ltc halved: NOTHING

Why should it raise?there isnt any single logical reason for it, miners still will get a ton to dump

no.
miners will now get half a ton to dump.
simple economics would mean that the price of the item which is lower in supply must rise, so long the interest in such item exists.
the price woiuld not change if the electricity prices also halve at the same time.
miners will now spend the same amount of money for half the reward.
