1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOs are really the future of ICOs? on: April 03, 2019, 10:59:23 PM
I think so because most STOs i know have a working product and the team are really focused in developing the project to the fullest unlike ICOs which only boasts of potential products. Furthermore STOs actually see it's token holders as real investors with legal document backing their purchase of tokens unlike ICOs
Legal for what? not even one of them is legally registered by regulators. STO is done and people are feeling better to invest in the ICO or IEO. STO doesn't have a working product and that's a bullshit promise that created by STO team. STO is another kind of rebrand.
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The opinion on the current situation in the cryptocurrency market!!!! on: April 03, 2019, 03:38:47 PM
I think this new year will be marked by steady growth and recovery and if you ask specifically about one coin then i will name Ethereum as the best potential coin this year with change of algorithm and resolution of scalability issues eth is going to rock for sure.
Short-term growth of the market began as I said, but ethereum does not show itself as the most promising coin. I think that now you only need to look at Bitcoin and no other coins.
It caused by at this moment ethereum and any other crypto pegged to the bitcoin and that's it. Until bitcoin will have done with its pump and ethereum will not go to the moon again. bitcoin must have done with its pump before we will see ethereum to show its power.
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make money from crypto? (Bitcoin and alt-coins). on: April 01, 2019, 11:05:48 PM
There are so many ways of making money from crypto. You can either invest in  new crypto projects or be  daily cryptocurrency trader. Both investing and daily trading can help you make money from crypto.
There was a lot of legit projects right now and it can be a new way to get fast money easily, the ico trend is back and you can find someone who has made 15x from the TOP network instantly. Trading is the best way but the player must deal with all of the risks.
1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROPS ASKING FOR KYC VERIFICATION on: April 01, 2019, 11:01:51 PM
Join Bitcointalk KYC, you will get the real air by completing all steps, Theymos promises it.

Now to be more honest, do not do KYC process if you have a bad feeling from the project - if you feel that the project is not legit. Example of a legit project? For example Blockchain.com and its Stellar Lumen airdrop.  Cheesy
Bitcointalk KYC is an April mop celebration but for airdrop that asking KYC verification and that should be considered as a serious problem because we don't know how trustworthy that platform is.
It's very difficult to determine if that was a legit project or not
1745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep the security levels to maximum during the ICO campaign period. on: April 01, 2019, 10:59:34 PM
If you collect funds in fiat money, banks should take care of the security and insurance of the money raised. However, all resources collected in cryptocurrencies should be kept in cold wallet (Ledger Nano for example). Just remember to give access to priv keys at least two persons to not repeat problem of QuadrigaCX..

The development team should always have contingency plans. Many layers of security will be worthless if inside job is in play. So make sure that your team members are trustworthy enough to handle such big amount of funds. Selfish desire to get in touch with money is the usual culprit why many projects failed.
That's indeed, we always try to search the competence worker that will not betray our platform.Eventually, someone was greedy will always do anything to get the money but there is a possibility of that insider has a correlation with the team
1746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Successful ICO With No Buyback Mechanism on: March 30, 2019, 10:58:54 PM
Investors and bounty hunters are the one losing here, lots of projects that accumulated millions of dollars are worthless when they hit the market, no volume and price is down by 1000% if those coming ICO will not do buyback and the market continues to be bearish then it's all over for ICO and bounty hunters..

Your thoughts on this.?

That is right, the ICO should using some of their raised funds to support their token price in the market.
Im afraid if they don't prevent dump on their token price, it won't be able to recover the value of their token in the future.
If the project have too much people dumping their coin, keeping the coin price would take all the resources they have also it's very risky for the project's financial. To prevent dumping is only by making a good token supported by strong project.
i know that even a strong buyback mechanism will have a hard time keeping their coin from dumpers
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are Social Networks like Facebook and Twitter moving towards blockchain? on: March 30, 2019, 04:54:34 PM
Because if they don't do it today. Competitors will bypass them. Everyone understands that blocks are better than old technologies. And they are already pulling for too long.
Quite agree, technology based company need to always keeping up with the growth or development of a new technology, if not they will easily being left behind and there's many company that go bankrupt because of such thing.
Also blockchain could solve so many things that it's really beneficial for such company to implement it.
1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Locking Bounty Rewards To Avoid Dumping on: March 27, 2019, 10:54:21 PM
I strongly disagree with the locking token for the bounty hunter, because that will reduce the passion of the hunter, don't blame Bounty for throwing tokens, but if a project blames the bounty hunter, I think the project itself manipulates the situation.
That will not help a lot, but the team must use the funds effectively. But most of these ico creators are putting exchange site as useless thing while their tokens need more and more liquidity to protect its demand
1749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Team also needs to pass KYC on: March 27, 2019, 10:51:16 PM
Investors and bounty hunters are mostly required to undergo KYC while the team behind the project itself are not known. And they scam people. I suggest the team should first pass a "KYC" test and publish it on their website before investors and hunters are also made to do same. What do you also think?
You are true and that is why ICOBench invented KYC for the ICO team. Simply, find the ICO on ICOBench and you will see their KYC report.
But remember, it doesn´t mean that investing into KYC verified ICO is 100% safe.  Cool
ICObench was creating a gimmick and if that platform was doing all of the things right and why there was a lot of scam icos listed on ico bench? icobench is a shitty site that can't be trusted anymore. That's such a garbage ico list site
1750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Active bounty with reached softcap? on: March 26, 2019, 11:11:51 AM
I would like recommend Blockmason link and Publish Protocol bounties you don't want to miss. These projects are already sucessful without having to collect a massive amount of money. They already have strategic partnership that will help the project to be sucessful. Also Publish Protocol have IEO's in Probit and with other two exchanges.

Thanks for suggestions!
I found only website of Publish Protocol project. Can you tell me where did you found informations about token sale progress and bounty program?

Softcap funds rise isn't define that ICOs will success. Check this MOBU ICO softcap didn't rise but with best partners success. By some own invest and softcap reach help to start process.

I'm not saying that softcap define success of ICO. When softcap is reachet it is giving comfort of thinking that bounty reward will be paid. (If project is not a scam)
At least softcap means if we can see a little bit about the future and we will not waste all of our effort to promoting fail projects. Honestly, mindsync.ai looks good and it has reached softcap but it's ending this week
1751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO makes me sick on: March 26, 2019, 10:52:26 AM
Currently investors have lost interest in ICOs and this is the reason why even ICO projects that looks credible and solid are suffering from the wickedness of those before them. Though am still investing ICOs but super selective now, I have only invested in two ICOs this year.
Have you already managed to invest this year? I have not yet seen the good projects this year. I take part in the bounty campaigns because I think that the project may be good in the future, but I don’t risk with my money
There was a lot of good projects this year and it looks like you have not yet watched it properly and i suggest you to visit icodrop for the more news about that. What we want to take an investment opportunity with low risk
1752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROPS ASKING FOR KYC VERIFICATION on: March 26, 2019, 10:46:56 AM
The issue of KYC always raises questions whose answers are mostly not very discerning to the ears. It is quite unfortunate, I know most crypto enthusiasts are not comfortable giving out their personal information for KYC but there is little we can do about the situation at the moment.  Most of these projects claim they are under a legal jurisdiction where KYC is very important for many business projects. The new trend is increasingly becoming worrisome as many airdrops are even requiring KYC verification from participants.

They are lying for all of airdrops participants, they are not under legal jurisdiction and look at how many of them are running away with all of our identity after getting it and gives scam coin for participants. I never try to risk my documents for a few dollars.
1753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bullrun comes on: March 26, 2019, 10:42:18 AM
Bull run is coming and it is almost here!
I am extra bullish on crypto. To my mind we have to buy more because we have time and price is low
I don't believe if that will come very soon but looks like bitcoin and whole o crypto needs more time. We must have bought more and more altcoin but right now we are still in a preparation to create big bullish trend again and it may happen a few years later.
1754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Locking Bounty Rewards To Avoid Dumping on: March 23, 2019, 11:16:18 PM
So there's this campaign that I've participated that locked bounty rewards in the hopes of avoiding token dumping. As what I expected, the dumping still happened. What's even funnier is that it is now the bounty hunters who complains unlike before where investors blame bounty hunters  Grin

If there's any coins or tokens that should be locked, it should only be the team's share (or maybe add those given to advisors). Both parties (investors & hunters) have invested either money or time to get their share and they should not be subjected to such restriction.

Instead of locking, teams should just concentrate on other methods such as buy back and loyalty rewards to lessen the chances of price crash.
Dump is inevitable lol. After they release the token lock, bounty hunters will still dump it. The best way to avoid dump is to just pay bounty hunters in eth or btc so they will not sell the token and resulting to dip.
Even without bounty, if the coin is just as worthless as dust having no other utilization or functionality the investors will always cashing out rather than bag holding. I've seen so many projects that are being dumped by their own investors and that sucks.
1755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dump, Dump, DUmp, what is future? on: March 22, 2019, 03:20:06 AM
Yes, today the cryptocurrency market has gone down again. But I think this fall won't last long. I believe that the cryptocurrency market will begin to recover in 2019.
That's true and the reason behind could be that the bottom isn't in righ now. The fall is hopefully just a short and temporary one and long-term have no bad influence to the price. When the halving is coming, price will automatically be better.
Both bearish and bullish trend just temporary and we should not hope a lot with it. remember about the fact that the whole of people seeing the bright future in the crypto. Halving will pump like same as how much already decreased in block rewards.
1756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will POS become the norm and replace POW forever? on: March 22, 2019, 03:17:58 AM
POS and POW have both advantages and disadvantages. But, it is safe to say that POS has more advantages compared to POW. To date, I haven't heard much of POS coin being victim of 51% attacks or the likes. And rarely would you hear of hacks in POS coins. Is POS the future of cryptocurrencies? Any advice on which technology to invest in will be welcome.
Yes, I think PoW has too many inconveniences. It causes a lot of power resources to be lost when decoding blocks and investors need to spend a lot of money to buy GPUs, rent land and find businesses that sell cheap electricity.
Meanwhile, PoS decodes blocks very easily with your money. will often bring you stable interest rates.
I appreciate PoS more and PoW future will no longer be used.

I dont agree with you because in POS, how much high volume coins  you have that much high profit you will get. So POS will be benefited by the whales as they are who are holding lot of coins in their wallet so they now just have to stake them and earn free POS.

So i think both POW and POS  are having benefits and faults. Any coin can be earned high if you hold lot of coins of that project and earn high in POS
POW will give benefits for big miners and that looks the same as POW. Both have a chance to be a centralized coin. POW with its asic miner's problem and POS with the whales that can buy a lot of coins to make it centralized.
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts Dropping Gives YOU Opportunities on: March 21, 2019, 07:41:33 AM
a very big opportunity occurs when the altcoin price drops, you can increase your investment with the remaining capital. the price is very falling. You can get a huge profit when the price returns in the future
Sometimes a drop in the price of a particular altcoin indicates the downfall or the end of that coin. I invested in a coin when its price dropped from $0.70 to $0.30 with the hope of making huge profit if the price should go back to $0.70.  As at now, the coin is just worth $0.004 and i lost about $500 out of my initial investment.  Not every drop is an opportunity, some might be a death trap to your financial investment...
If the drop happens with promising coin and it can go back later but the problem is the performance of the company just like speculation. That's even happened in my life. Investing in the coin that drastically dropped anytime.
1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP is manipulating social networks on: March 20, 2019, 11:31:08 PM
XRP was caught manipulating the social networks with fake accounts to shill XRP coin and post false positive feedbacks about it. On Twitter were many fake accounts detected and deleted for their abuse to maximize the price of XRP in an illegal and shady way. At least 8,000 Twitter fake accounts were detected.
Another bad attempt from XRP and a red flag to avoid investments in XRP.

Not only on social media but you can see some fake accounts created by ripple shills in here. I have seen that so many times these accounts were always creating shilling thread for ripple and i will not feel any surprise to see that.
1759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to gain some funds in this bear market? on: March 18, 2019, 11:14:55 PM
to get funds from this bear market for myself by depending on the campaign bounty, because in this way I can get results for free even though I have to wait to get it
I have read that most of the bounty campaigns are slow in distribution and in the end many are turning into a scam. If you are still earning with bounty campaigns, I guess you have joining the reliable and paying ones.
Not all but many of them. DYOR is a mandatory even for bounty hunters but in fact, it will more difficult than before consider various things need to be considered before trying to join in any bounty campaign.
1760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Altcoins on: March 18, 2019, 11:13:12 PM
now what we see the future of the altcoin has not been said sure, market in a state of bad trend even though the market is currently bad it does not mean there are no altcoins that can rise up to hundreds of percent
well, we don't know for sure about the development of altcoins in the future. because basically each altcoin has a different developer. other than that, I think there will be a lot of new altcoins that are trying to drop the current altcoin. so, of course the competition will be even tighter.
More altcoin already released the product and you can see how an altcoin like BNB was growing a lot instantly caused by its product. altcoin which was having a good product will always survive in the future.
