I didn't like the idea of posting in Signature thread. It will be completely useless and spammy load of posts.

2204  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex disabled bitcoin deposit on: July 23, 2017, 05:42:08 PM
I just happened to Deposit amount of 3 BTC to my bittrex address and when i log in to the bittrex after 7 confirmation on blockchain to trade and i find that wallet is disabled for bip91.
So will i be able to recover funds or they are gone?

https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000761392

Get ready for such glitch in mean time of BIP91 activation. Estimated time to activate it is 2 weeks but it may take more than that. Currently its Bittrex but soon more will join. Better decrease transactions in these days. Your money will successfully reach your Bittrex address but you won't see it until Bittrex update the wallet. So better wait and watch, and most importantly say no to trading for few days. Cheesy
2205  Economy / Speculation / Re: alphabay taken down how will it effect price of bitcoin on: July 23, 2017, 05:00:38 PM
Hey guys just heard a few darkmarket places just got taken down .Wonder how it will effect the prices of bitcoin and other altcoins.Look like the guy made a few big mistakes.Surprising he wast taken down sooner  .Will it effect the price of bitcoins are altcoins?

Whenever someone uses Bitcoin to buy/sell commodity, he uses current market price. Thus marketplace works at current price which hardly affect market price on transactions. It is trading or speculation which basically impact prices. So I don't think turning down such deepweb marketplace will cause any impact on BTC prices.
2206  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin currently massively undervalued? on: July 23, 2017, 04:05:04 PM
BIP91 locked in is very small factor in determining the price of Bitcoin. There are numerous factors affecting Bitcoin price at same time because every hodler has different view and assumptions about situation.
Economic laws and possibility has no relevance in Bitcoin market.
For say, users positively reacted to segwit2x locked in which causes price upward movement. But now upcoming BCC fork, withdrawal/deposit restriction by Bittrex and overall correction in crypto world is keeping price stagnant today!
2207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC Gambling? on: July 23, 2017, 10:52:34 AM
Now a lot of gambling sites are here where you could use minimum satoshi. But only specific games are here where we need to use more than minimize. But in dice games and in every casino offer to use less than 1 satoshi. It is too cheap rate, but i think if we have a dare to start bet then better to use more than 1 or 2 satoshi.
Yes of course, if it comes to betting which surely means that you either win of you loss then why don’t go for a bigger amount which will enable you to earn bigger. It is just like investment in this case the amount you are offering to bet is actually your investment and a very short term which have the ultimate result and you get your profit and loss on the spot, so big betting means big earnings and vice versa.

When we have gambling in mind, it shouldn't be mixed with earnings or income. Gambling isn't a legitimate occupation which can bring you fix return. It should be played only for fun and enjoyment and I don't feel betting less wouldn't fulfil this. Even 1 sat roll can be really enjoyable.
Well concerning 1 sat roll, my favorite site is Bitsler.
It seems to me that gambling is already more than debauchery. Because this passion and hobby can lead to very sad consequences. Whoever has not met them yet, may not understand all the seriousness of things.

That's the reason I always recommend people to restrict gambling upto the limit of enjoyment, never bring it mainstream as your earning. There is no fun giving big BTC to gambling sites owners for nothing. It is always good to gamble small amounts, it is enough to shake your adrenaline.  Cheesy
2208  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] PicoStash - Host and sell files for BTC/LTC/DASH on: July 23, 2017, 10:16:23 AM
Checking out the service and I am impressed with the details you have put up there but at the same time, I think more more publicity should be done on the digital section of the forum. Also, I want to know if there is a kind of dispute resolution because a situation whereby service provision is misrepresented in other to gain more attention.

Thanks. You mean a dispute over the contents of the files? Since all transactions are final due to the nature of the cryptocurrencies you would have to contact the seller directly. All the coins are directly transferred to the seller and not held by us, so we do not have the coins any longer after a successful payment has been received. That's why there currently is no marketplace like section on the website (until the seller rating system is in place). You should only considering buying files if you have found the link to them on a blog/forum/twitter feed etc. you trust.

Thank you for the response which is even timely at that. And I think more is to be done to make the sellers responsible the reason why I said that is because people who are morally deficient might want to use that as a means to scam users and it won't be long before people start tagging the go between as the platform to scam people. My opinion though.

Well, online buying is always risky. No one casually fall for online buying without complete trust and knowledge about seller. So 'After Sale' dispute don't have much relevance here.
But yeah, I feel Picostash should have some verification process to check authenticity of files before sale link is off since sale/purchase will directly affect company reputation.

And how many of you believe BCC could take over Bitcoin?? Me for sure, no!  Undecided
BCC will soon drop to zero, you are just creating panic in Bitcoin ecosystem. That's it.
2211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: transferring money oversees question on: July 22, 2017, 04:18:03 PM
i saw a topic the other day (not here) asking about a way to send money from another country to where i live.

the easiest, most secure and cheapest way possible.
the amount was about 20,000 £

so naturally as a bitcoin user the first thing that came to my mind was bitcoin.
it is the easiest, it is super fast, and it is 100% safe if you follow a couple of safety measures, and it is super cheap!

but i didn't suggest it because of one problem:
i already have bitcoin so if i want to send money i just go to my wallet and click send Smiley
but for someone new, he has to go to an exchange sign up, deposit (pay fees), buy (pay fees) then send and the other person on the other end has to do the same or find someone to sell bitcoin p2p and that usually is under market price.

i guess my question is, is bitcoin really a good option here and what can be done to make this process easier and better ("in general" not just in this particular case)?

Well when you involved word 'exchange' you certainly comes out of the fancy world of Bitcoins and enters the reality of government and regulations. It is pretty obvious you need to follow all regulations as imposed by exchange including KYC, fees, verification and all.
But I still feel Bitcoin transactions are still much easier than bank wires or other payment processors.
2212  Economy / Economics / Re: Explain on: July 22, 2017, 03:52:03 PM
What do you believe bitcoin is better than gold, explain?

When you compare such distinct items, there should be some basis to make comparison. As among gold and Bitcoin, most obvious basis is 'item of investment'. No doubt, Bitcoin is much better than Gold, why. Pretty simple! Everyone salute the rising sun and currently Bitcoin is rising one. Why would one be interested in getting 10-15% per ounce in a year when he is getting 300% return on Bitcoin. Moreover, it is much more safer to keep as compared to gold.
2213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc = you make me tired on: July 22, 2017, 03:37:49 PM
SegShit , bip888 , bip 999 , bipbipbip , btc you make me tired and stressed

I will trade your seconde wife = ethereum

As far as I noticed Ethereum is noob coin. For what BTC is being criticized, Ethereum is already showing that drawbacks at early adoption. People say Bitcoin has high fees, Ethereum is not much behind.
With sudden surge to $400 last month, Ethereum was more of speculated coin then utility coin. My pity is still with those who bought at $400!!
2214  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we stop Bitcoin from crashing? on: July 22, 2017, 02:19:54 PM
What is the way to stop Bitcoin from being a bear market?

"Never sell Bitcoin on lower than present price. Hodl and never sell on bid prices. If you wanna sell, sell by setting ask price. "
If everyone follows this pattern then Bitcoin will never crash. But FUD, rumors, buzz, etc make people fear and eventually people start selling much lower than market price.
2215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The "I cannot afford 1 BTC"-Problem on: July 21, 2017, 03:43:23 PM
There are some wallets that show BTC balance in bits and mBTC terms. Like Zebpay in India show balance in bits as default. Else there is no way.
But in my opinion, any Bitcoin user using it from long time can easily recognize and value decimals of Bitcoin. It is only new users who despair using zeroes.
2216  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic effects of bitcoins on: July 21, 2017, 02:43:07 PM
I was just thinking that since Bitcoins is 100% on the internet, what would happen if the whole world adopts it and 20M bitcoins gets stolen by a genius similar to what happened to Bitfinex?

If whole world adopts Bitcoin then portion of its total supply will lie in 7 Billions different wallets averaging 0.003 BTC in each wallet. A person can be genius enough to hack one site and database but not 7 billion different accounts on different wallets.

Let's say if all of the people in this world already using Bitcoin and 20m Bitcoin got stolen then the price will fall down a lot, the price is based on the supply and demand by holding 20m maybe is going to caused the price going up, but there won't be any transactions volume and it can caused the price to fall down quickly

Don't talk rubbish. If 95.2% of total Bitcoins get scammed, who in the hell would care about price and holding.
Rather if that scammer tries to sell on any exchange, he could easily get caught. Its not 1000-2000 Bitcoins but 20m Bitcoins when whole world using it.
2217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin split on 1th august or no? on: July 20, 2017, 05:31:25 PM
can someone tell me if btc will split on 1th of august or nah?

Have Patience!!  Cheesy

Edit: BIP91 or Segwit2x has been successfully locked in with 93% miners' support. Now UASF has no relevance left. Go enjoy your vacations, nothing gonna happen on August 1st now. Get prepared for November. Cheesy
2218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you see bitcoin in the future? on: July 20, 2017, 04:39:21 PM
Hi guys, I want your opinion if how can you see Bitcoin in the near future.

Posts showing random price predictions for future are nothing less than spam. Price is not only thing that matters. More major concern than price is Bitcoin on its own. Who knows we would even see Bitcoin after year. In present clouds of possible split (if not Aug 1 may later on) maybe Bitcoin split into two competitive coins who rebel with each other and in the end we would have 2 coins none of them would be call Bitcoin. Both evolve in some new cryptocurrencies with different visions and Bitcoin may become history!! Who knows  Lips sealed
2219  Economy / Economics / Re: Affect of bitcoins in the global economy on: July 20, 2017, 04:12:44 PM
How bitcoins affect or change the global economy?
Since bitcoins shows great promise for a wide range of legitimate applications.

One aspect that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have strengthened is 'Crowd Funding'. Crowd Funding is one of the most difficult form of investment to raise requiring high degree of trust but in cryptoz people are fearlessly investing in anonymous projects. Thus cryptocurrencies have facilitated root level investment with more stress on individuals than corporates and overall helping in reducing difference between poors and riches.
2220  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Should I fully drain out my BTC from Coinbase for Aug/1? on: July 19, 2017, 04:44:08 PM
I entered in world of blockchain a month ago, my holder is coinbase?
Will it hold both splits of BTC or should I go for personal ledger?

Sure. No offence for Coinbase, I am user of Coinbase too because of its ease and simple interface. But if you keep Bitcoins on web wallets, your Bitcoins will be owe to actions and decisions of particular wallet. Suppose Coinbase supports Bitcoin A after fork and update wallet with it but you youself wants Bitcoin B, you can't do anything. Better keep Bitcoin on your own disposal with private keys.
