2230  Economy / Speculation / Re: January approaching. Bull run about to begin? on: December 30, 2014, 11:44:40 AM
I fairly believe that Bitcoin is going to start picking up from 1st Jan onwards.
I have strong reasons to believe so.

Do you agree? Why/why not?

Not sure about the exact date, but I think it will happen in the first 10 days of 2015.

I came to this conclusion when I ignored a few emotions like fear and hope.
Try it, it works.

you ingnored fear and hope..and so, your conclusion is based on what?
2231  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 when? on: December 30, 2014, 11:36:38 AM
Unfortunately 10,000 will never happen.  It had high hopes to begin with but it looks like it is finally going to crash:(

It loses some value during one year and you don't believe anymore. Please sell your coins to someone with a bit more belief.

It lost quite a bit of value in one year actually.  It went from 1200 to 300 in 1 year.  It has consistently gone down this year too, with a few spikes here and there, but the trend has been downward since January.  Of course I don't want it to fail, but if it looks like it is, I am going to say, it looks like it is failing.

Dude, Bitcoin price went from $32 to $2.5 in 2011. That's the same as going from $1200 to $94.

It looked like it was failing to many people back then. Yet it wasn't, it was just a correction. Bitcoin does this and it will probably continue doing so for some time.

you say right, probably , that's the important word!
2232  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 when? on: December 29, 2014, 03:14:42 PM

2233  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Coin-Sweeper TREASURE HUNT! on: December 29, 2014, 02:32:04 PM
Over the next few days Coin-Sweeper is running a promotion for current and new players of the Coin-Sweeper Bitcoin Game: https://www.coin-sweeper.com/

For a limited time we are running another Coin-Sweeper Treasure Hunt. So this promotion will be giving away a total of 0.1 BTC split into 3 parcels of 0.05BTC, 0.03BTC and 0.02BTC to the top Treasure Hunters. This time first place will win the 0.05BTC, second place will win 0.03 BTC and third place will win 0.02BTC. 100 Satoshi is the minimum bet eligible and the competition is only available for coins found without clicking a bomb on the 10 Bomb game!

So how does it work?
- Visit Coin-Sweeper and play a few practice games to get a feel for it: https://www.coin-sweeper.com/coinsweeper
- Deposit Bitcoins into your Coin-Sweeper account
(the game has to be a real game to be eligible for the promotion)
- Remember you have to select 10 Bombs to be eligible for this competition
- Take a screen shot of your best game with the most amount of coins you have found (or a link to the game viewer of your game ID) and post it in this thread.
- If you are one of the top 3 Treasure hunters with the most of coins found we will credit your balance with the your winnings when the competition ends on the 31st of December!
- If there is a tie for the most amount of coins found at any position, the individual with the largest bet will win the prize, and if the bets are also tied then the first person to post their game on this thread will be the winner!

This promotion is open to all accounts on the Bitcoin Talk Forums, however only 1 game is claimable per Bitcoin Talk account, and IP address. So please do not play with multiple Bitcoin talk accounts using the same IP address as you will only be eligible for 1 of the prizes.

The whole promotion will be limited to a maximum of 0.1 BTC given away and we will clearly announce who the winners are at 04:00AM on the 31th of December 2014 Bitcoin Talk Forum Time.

Good luck with the Treasure Hunt!!

how much  is the minimum amount of deposit??
2234  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: What is RipDice? on: December 29, 2014, 02:18:19 PM
RipDice is one of the largest and longest running HYIP's estimated to be holding up to 100,000 bitcoins in their vaults.

This is believed to be the payout address and as you can see it has held a total of 175,833.7387901 BTC since the program began in April 2014.

This is the website from which you can purchase their bonds which you can choose different maturity times. The longer the bond the higher the interest. http://www.bitcointaboo.com

I personally have bought a 1 week bond to try it out and got my 125% return on time. I then bought a 3 month bond which is due to mature 24th of March 2015!

rip-->rest in peace, like the btc that you send to them Cheesy
2235  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share The Bitcoin - A good way to make a lot of Bitcoins :) on: December 29, 2014, 02:14:58 PM
right now, in every new ponzi/hyip thread there are people that warn other user to pay attention and so on...

so why, why they keep posting these kind of thread???

Maybe some stupid fools are still fooled by those scammers, they just wanna bet with scam site owners, but most of them will cry in the end.

Also, HYIP has their own fans, of course they are all speculating and betting with scammers.
this is exactly the point. If there is at least one person who falls in the trap, it pays off.
And there are always new people who are not careful enough and want to pay for learning their lesson on why to avoid scams.

uhm..i think you are right.

if no-one falls in the trap, they will stop to try i suppose.
2236  Economy / Gambling / Re: *NEW* | Bitcoin Galore | Bitcoin lottery based on Bitmessage on: December 29, 2014, 12:23:31 PM
If you like lotteries, here you will find the one for you! Bitcoin Galore is a bitcoin lottery based on Bitmessage. It started in August 2014 and it's mostly known only within the Bitmessage community until now.

- like Bitcoin and Bitmessage it's decentralized
- it uses cool technology
- it doesn't require accounts, it's completely anonymous
- playing is extremely cheap ( 0.00001 BTC )

The lottery generates 6 numbers ranging from 1 to 90 every 100th block of the blockchain (about once a day) through an algorithm (published in the game help).

You can play by specifying one or more combination of 6 numbers (a combo) for only 0.00001 bitcoins/each (10 microbitcoins). When the winning combo is generated, each played combo is assigned one point for every matching number. If the combo scores 3, 4, 5 or 6 points it wins a prize.

There are 4 categories of prizes: 3 points, 4 points, 5 points, 6 points. On every round, the prize in each category is shared between winning combos of the same category. If there are no wins for that category, the prize rolls over: it's added to the same category prize of the next round.

Prizes are quite exciting. On average a 3 points combo prize is around 500 uBTC (50x), a 4 points combo 100 mBTC (10000x), a 5 points combo 2.5 BTC (250000x). So far there were no 6 points combo winners, actually the prize is around 27 BTC and growing.

You need to install Bitmessage ( https://bitmessage.org/ ) for playing. Once installed you can retrieve the game instructions sending a bitmessage to the address BM-2cXdbRBsBWXmdTqsN2s3jd28cpEunJX6Ek with the word HELP in the subject.

I started this project because I used to play national lotteries. Unfortunately those have a sensible house-edge and the way numbers are chosen is not clear. Bitcoin Galore has no house edge and the numbers are generated through a public alogrithm. Currently each bet is divided into 30 slices, each slice divided in the 4 categories and added to the respective prize one slice at every next round. This is done to achieve a smooth and constant increase of the prizes. Transaction costs for the payouts are deducted proportionally from the next round prizes.

If you have questions or advices for improving the service, you can contact me here or through Bitmessage at the address BM-2cTgDs4XPE2vNFqMGEe49jhRyfDeat22ba .

Plan your strategy and have fun!

sorry if i go a bit OT, but this bitmessage seems really great!
Can i ask only how big is the bitmessage's community?

2238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Russia seems like to adopt bitcoin on: December 29, 2014, 11:06:26 AM
i have seen some news from indian central bank governor also giving some positive signs for bitcoin

India is way more important then is Russia.
In Russia there is already high bitcoin awareness, recent issues will just add to it a bit.
India have huge potential and every moves government will make will be huge.

totally agree with this.

India can be a new China in btc's world too.
2239  Economy / Speculation / Re: Logarithmic (non-linear) regression - Bitcoin estimated value on: December 29, 2014, 11:03:00 AM
In this OP I will always post the last updated charts:

Calculate today's trendline price HERE

R^2 = 0,988 is not bad.

Oh, how i hope that this analysis is right, but BTC is, imho, one kind of market that can be used in this case Sad

anywais in 4 months will see if the first prediction will be right!
