22301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wikipedia Donation Campaign and still no Bitcoin on: December 14, 2013, 02:45:03 PM
Hmm , you feel outrages cause they don't want to accept your Bitcoins?
It's their choice. People should start respecting others people choice not bashing them as non-believers.

They are making a mistake! So what? They don't want money! They are stupid!
But waiting for the people in charge of wiki  in a dark alley and stuffing a brainwallet down their throats isn't the best choice in my opinion.

I have no problems with any of these. But all I am saying is that we should keep a careful watch on the Wikipedia Bitcoin page. I was an active Wikipedian until 2011 and I know how propagandists are making use of Wikipedia. I don't want paid cronies of Goldman and JP Morgan bashing BTC in Wikipedia.
22302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China, Norway, Switzerland economies to take an Epic beating on: December 14, 2013, 02:42:40 PM
I am having nothing against Switzerland. They are considering granting the Bitcoin currency status.. they why we should think about them in a negative manner?
22303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: December 14, 2013, 02:41:15 PM

Vietnamese and Korean and Japanese girls are the best I must say Cool
I think the prettiest girls are from Northern Italy. And Southern Italy is having the prettiest males. Never found East Asian girls prettier than the Europeans.
22305  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-12-13: European Union threatens bitcoin seizures on: December 14, 2013, 02:37:49 PM
Well, time to rent a private VPS and store my Bitcoins in Russia
'

Then be ready to pay the extortion money to the Russian mafia... and perhaps also to Putin.
22306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can satoshi kill bitcoin? on: December 14, 2013, 02:36:29 PM
Satoshi can drop the price of bitcoin to zero if he decides to sell his massive stack. Other than that you are not following anyone except yourself with bitcoins.

Not to zero. May be to $300-400 levels. 1 million BTC is approx. the volume of all Bitcoin exchanges in a 72-hour time period.
22307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can satoshi kill bitcoin? on: December 13, 2013, 04:35:12 PM
Give me proof that Satoshi is even alive. What if I claim that he died of drug overdose in 2012?  Grin
22308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Top100/Top1000 amount on: December 13, 2013, 04:33:37 PM
always a good sign if the top 100 are holding and staying put

We are not sure that they are staying put. Let's assume that 20 out of the 100 are exchanges and the remaining 80 are individuals. We don't know whether the increase is solely due to the rising share of exchanges.
22309  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-12-13: European Union threatens bitcoin seizures on: December 13, 2013, 04:27:59 PM
BTC-E should be safe, as it is controlled by Russians. If the EU threatens BTC-E, Putin will just nuke them with his Iskander ICBM.  Grin

I am shocked that you are saying russians and arabs same they are not have too much different between them  Grin

Both of them have two eyes, two ears, two legs, and 5 fingers on each of their arms. That's the similarity he is talking about. Frankly I can't find any other similarity between the two groups.  Grin
22311  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's talk about how hot Asian girls are. on: December 13, 2013, 02:38:54 PM
I dont know how you can tell apart the russians and arabs. They all look the same to me.  Tongue

This is how I differentiate a Russian from an Arab:

Arab:

Russian:

Quite easy for me.
22312  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's talk about how hot Asian girls are. on: December 13, 2013, 11:06:10 AM
I like Asian girls, but their porn is weird  Huh

Well.. the Japanese porn is really weird. But the OP was referring to the Korean girls. I am Asian myself and I can say that the Koreans are different from the Japanese, just like the Russians are different from Arabs.
22313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: December 13, 2013, 11:00:04 AM
Can you really live on $150 a week in usa thesedays ?

I am living in Asia. Life is hard, but I am not complaining. I have only some 15-20 coins. But if BTC ever reaches the $ 100,000 mark, I'll become a millionaire.  Grin
22314  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can some donate 1 litecoin satoshi please? on: December 13, 2013, 10:55:30 AM
I'd have sent it from my BTC-E wallet, but the transaction fee for doing it is 0.1 LTC ($ 3.10).
22315  Other / Off-topic / Re: Silkroad 2.0 on: December 13, 2013, 10:53:46 AM
Also, can someone verify that link? I've never gotten it to load...

There is no problem with the link. Use the TOR Broswer and you'll be able to use it. I just logged in to it, like 30 seconds ago.
22316  Other / Off-topic / Re: 1.000.000 OR 1,000,000 on: December 13, 2013, 10:51:02 AM
I some languages (such as Brazilian Portuguese), 1 million is written as 1.000.000 instead of 1,000,000. And interestingly, decimals are usually separated by ",".

For example, 17,695.25 in English will be written as 17.695,25 in Brazilian Portuguese.
22317  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drone Air strike kills 15 civilians (on their way to a wedding) in Yemen on: December 13, 2013, 09:26:48 AM
If those killed were actually anti-al queda, somebody's head is going to roll.

Nothing is going to happen. Similar incidents have happened again and again in Pakistan and Afghanistan. And they are still occurring.
22318  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My MtGox account hacked... Lost $60,000... :'( on: December 13, 2013, 09:24:17 AM
Yeah, they washed the money on the other side of the bid/ask spread. Effectively, earning the spread each time the transaction was conducted.

If they did that then Mt Gox can easily identify them. Can't they? Dumb hackers.
22319  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How big is the blockchain right now? on: December 13, 2013, 09:20:21 AM
According to the Blockchain.info, the size is 12,107 MB right now. But it can take more space in your system.

Nov 27, 2013: For the time being, I have suspended accepting new orders, pending resolution of some concerns I have as to regulatory issues. I am anticipating a possibility of having to prequalify buyers, and am holding off taking orders until I know for sure.

There is a possibility that he will resume creating physical Bitcoins next year. But I think it will be better for him to renounce the US citizenship and move to some freedom loving country. There is no doubt that he can afford that.
