2241  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: June 16, 2017, 03:57:41 PM
Hi,

Hope I posted in the right board and totally new to this investing bitcoins.

I got under 0.1 bitcoin lending on poloniex but rates are too low for a good return.

Where is the best place to Invest bitcoins with the best returns and lowest risk?

Thanks,
Your post is in the right place I guess. Looking for high return on investment and less risk which I don't think such exist here. The higher the return on investment the higher the risk of loosing higher percent of your capital. Holding your bitcoin alone is enough for good return on your investment. Trading on polonies is another, although it depends on your trading skills.
2242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So I want to get into trading. on: June 16, 2017, 02:30:44 PM
Obviously, I need BTC to get in but it seems like everything is high right now.  Should I wait till BTC is < 2k? Or ETH < 200? I'd like to get in and start trading alt coins.  But for me to maximize my profits in USD I need to wait till BTC is at a reasonable cost.  Or do you guys see it climbing to 3k in the next couple of months?
Bitcoin loosing value below $2000 will really create a great avenue for people to buy at the cheaper rate and sell when the market value increases. But based on the recent development and the current bitcoin price it will be difficult for the value to move below  $2000. I believe is better to buy at the current market value now, than to wait  with the hope that it will fall below $2000 which will  never come.
2243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: June 16, 2017, 10:30:34 AM
Hey guys I'm not sure if this is the right place so please tell me if it is not. With that out of the way, I have a question for you all. I have recently been able to gather about .5 btc through minor trading and I was wondering if there was any method or way to grow this btc into a larger amount safely and fairly quickly. Thanks!
Am very sure that here is the right place for your post if not the moderator would have long remove it from here. I would advice you continue with the way you were able to get this amount of Bitcoin. This is because one can loose his or her money when you are so despirate of making it big or high return on investment. So, please stick to your current method or strategy.
2244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening ? = all coins down by 20 to 35 % on: June 16, 2017, 07:59:27 AM
Any incoming nuclear war ? Or any worldwide bad news that we should know ? WTF ? ahahaha
I don't think there is any incoming nuclear war, just that bitcoin and crypto currency in general has gotten to the level that it reacts to world events both positive and negative events. I believe this happened as a result of the attack that happened in United State of America and the fire outbreak in London which I think makes many trader to stay away from the market.
2245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for beginners to avoid getting scammed on: June 16, 2017, 06:58:53 AM
Can you suggest some precautions for beginners to avoid getting scammed ?
Most a time you only find yourself being scammed as a result of your one's personal greed or an act of being despirate of getting rich quick.
Stay away from sites that promise high return on your investment for what that interest them is your own deposits .
Lastly, there's need for you to seek other people's opinion on what ever investment you want to put in your money to know whether is genuine or not before you invest your capital.

2248  Economy / Economics / Re: Will third world country hold their foreign reserve in bitcoin against Dollar? on: June 14, 2017, 09:23:10 PM
I doubt if any third world country will be able to take that risk simply because of no other reason than volatility that in the case of bitcoin crashes, then they become poorer in which case they have no alternative which is the most scary part. Another reason is that based on the level of technological development in such country, I wonder how they will be able to adopt bitcoin and also most of this countries relies on foreign aid from the United States and the moment they change then they might be losing from both ends.
But I think in the near future, it is possible for third world country to hold some part of their foreign reserve in bitcoin. The issues of volatility of Bitcoin price is another major point that call for concern, but the same volatility equally affects US dollar too. Am of the believe that the third world countries can hold about 25% - 30% of their foreign reserve in bitcoin for the fear of unknown that may likely affect their economy.
2249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long does a trade take? on: June 14, 2017, 06:38:48 PM
How long does a trade take?

It all depends on when you decide to go out of the market. It has no specific long period of time, as all depends on whether you have reach your target profit or not before you place a sell other. And on the other hand, if you discovered that the market is going against your buy other you can equally place a sell other to avoid lost of your fund.

Making up to 5 bitcoin in just 48 hour in an investment look too good to be true to me. Am sure the risk involved might be higher as compared to the benefit of 5 bitcoin. It looks scam to me if not untill the whole information about the investment is been publish here in this forum.
2251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: June 13, 2017, 09:24:09 PM
Are you a bitcoin fan?
Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

Share your experience with us. Grin
It was in the year 2016 that I heard about bitcoin from a newly employed colleague in my office who happen to have been trading bitcoin since 2012. He explained to me all the information I need to know about bitcoin, and he went further to show me the amount of money he has made so far from bitcoin, i was so surprise of what I saw.
2252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin and the power of media on: June 13, 2017, 08:35:53 PM
The media as the fourth estate of realm, play a very critical role in creating awareness on issues surounding crypto currency and the need to popularize it beyond its current status. In most part of the world individuals and institutions are skeptical about bitcoin and it's acceptance as a legal tender. Hence the need to explore and leverage on the enormous power of media on propagating and putting crypto currency issues on the front Bonner. However, considering the fact that the media exist to inform, educate, mobilize and enlighten societies, which other vehicles or means could best serve the purpose of setting agender on a phenomenon as important as the rising prominence of crypto currency?
2253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince people into you using Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2017, 08:31:30 AM
Many people need big proof to satisfy that this site is legit ..whats the best way to convince your relatives or friends
I went for shopping in a boutique recently to buy a pair of shoes and ask the sale manager whether they accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment, he answered me no sir. And I tried to educate him and make him to understand the benefits attached to bitcoin if he will accept Bitcoin from his customers who patronize his products. And he told me that he will discuss with the director of the company.
2254  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: June 12, 2017, 10:57:01 PM
If you were in desperate need for money / Bitcoins, what would you do? How to get it, earn it, whatw are your solutions and experiences? I wonder what people are ready to do when money is the problem.
If i have an emergency to attend to financially, and I am not financially buoyant enough I will go to the Bank i operate with and get a loan which I will use in solving the financial needs. I think this is better to me, as compared to going to a friends and narrate all your problems and at the end he or she will not be able to give me the money but privilege to have listened to me problems.
2255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: June 12, 2017, 08:19:16 PM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.
Currently, I take care of my day to day expenses from the professional services l renther to different government agencies and non governmental organizations  (NGO) . And i have never spent any of my Satoshi on any goods or services, but save all for future purposes. Am not saving my bitcoin for funs but for profit motive.
2256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: June 12, 2017, 07:56:39 PM
I've been talking about Bitcoin to family, friends and random people for years and nobody seemed to mind when BTC was under $1000. But now that Bitcoin has reached $2000, people are starting to realize that owning 1 BTC is beginning to be out of reach for the average person.
I've had more people ask me about Bitcoin lately and wanted help buying Bitcoins. What about you?
At the early December, 2016 when I was discussing bitcoin with a friend, who told me that she is not intrested in any online business and that she has been scammed lately in an online business. All my effort to make her understand what bitcoin really entails proved abortive. But presently, she is the one asking me to sell some of my Satoshi to her so that she could trade with it or hold it pending when the market value increase and possibly  make profit.
2257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: June 11, 2017, 09:42:15 PM
Bitcoin is a blessing to some of us here. We can testify, how since the beginning of this year that, we have make alot of return on our investment in bitcoin. I foreseeing bitcoin touching $4,000 before the end of October this year. Hope you join us in this less risk investment.
To some other people like my self who are new in the crypto currency are yet to see the return on investment, although very soon, we shall also testify to the end result whether positive or negative. I don't see the price of Bitcoin reaching  $4,000 before October, but it will get to that level before end of the year with the look of current price today.
2258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: June 11, 2017, 05:43:13 PM
In trading how do you know if it is time to still hold or is it the right time to sell? Do you go buy your profit margin  or actually wait for the highest possible peak?
For example if you're earning like 10% of your investment, would you just sell or would you be interested in waiting and seeing if it goes more up so you could earn more, in doing that its possible that it may go down and you then earn like 5-8%
But what is your process in this? How do you go about hold and sell timings?
It all depends on the way you analyze the market. As for me, most time I set a profit margin and if the price reach the targeted percentage I will see. But if from my analysis of candle stick show that the price has brake the support I will wait and see the next movement of about three candle stick before I will sell.
2259  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: June 09, 2017, 08:24:54 PM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?

Am sure they do. No reasonable investor will see a profitable opportunity and wouldn't invest, provided they are very sure of the possible outcome. Most of the biggest  mining companies  are own by some of the millionaires and billionaires.
2260  Economy / Economics / Will third world country hold their foreign reserve in bitcoin against Dollar? on: June 09, 2017, 05:43:22 PM
Most of the third world country hold their foreign reserve  in dollar. Do you think any of these third world country will accept Bitcoin and equally holds their foreign reserve in bitcoin instead of dollar form? In your own opinion what do you think will happen to such economy both in terms of positive and negative effects?
