I am amazed with number of people being fooled with BTC:
1. Transactions takes hours
2. Fees are high
3. Development team sucks, uncapable solve scalability issues for years
4. Its not anonymous, every solution to make it, failed so far
5. Its centralized: who is biggest hash power owner? Who is biggest miner hardware provider? Who owns most of bitcoins? What is % of Bitcoins in coldstorage and what in exchanges ( Ye Mt Gox )
6. There is 0 economics for BTC, it just tight to USD with liquidity providers, cut that and try to value pizza box with just BTC
7. Its not store of value, its not digital gold, and it will never be 100k USD. Because it has no value. It has value only for energy probiders, hardware manufactures and random phils.
8. Its not insured, If some crap happened to your BTC, its gone.
Such crap will never be used in payments, noone wants to support Terrabytes or Petabytes of data.
Its funny to observe how uneducated shills trying to make casual office landline phone to look smart phone.

Op, most of the point you mentioned above seem to me that you are not current about what is happening to and crypto currency in general because i must confess that transactions fee has been less as compared to what it use to be in the past. As a Sr. Member here in this forum i don't expect you to say Bitcoin is a scam for what negative experience you might have had in the crypto currency world. You mentioned those groups of people Bitcoin has value for and you are still saying that Bitcoin has no value. |

I have both Bitcoin and ethereum and if i have more spare money i will still buy more Bitcoin and ethereum because i strongly believe that both of them will do very well . Their dependent on each others as one of them increase in value so also the other will increase in value. So buying Bitcoin is the Same thing as buying ethereum for they almost have the same percentage of growth in my opinion. |

Ethereum value has decreased from the peak of almost $1500 as at last to week's. Although the decline trends was as a result of the decline in the market value of Bitcoin which could be trace to the bad news from North Korea on crypto currency exchange ban. Newbie to the forum here... :3
I've been wanting to invest in Bitcoin since the 3k$ mark. But I just haven't had the time, yes I know it was a big mistake waiting...
But I have about 4000$ to invest into Bitcoin (It's currently sitting with shares, will take a few days to pull out), I was wondering is it too late to invest it? Will it still grow? Will we see a big drop/crash soon?
My shares barely profit, if I make a few $$,$$$'s from Bitcoin, I would be more than happy since it would be doing better than my shares my advisor put me on.
I'm happy with Bitcoin, alt coins are too unstable for me in my opinion, and they have a much higher risk than Bitcoin.
Is it too late to invest?
Is not too late to invest in Bitcoin and altcoins because at the moment their price are still on the decline direction and is a strong hope that their value will soon appreciate but that will happen i can't tell though but it will be rational for you to invest your money at their current market value of Bitcoin than to wait till later hoping that their price will decline further which may not happen. |

Yes, the market is really moving in an upward trend and that is a good news for those were able to hold their bitcoin and other altcoins at the time of trouble just like the one we face last week which was as. result the bad news from North Korea.

My goal is to get married before end of this year so the plan at the moment is not to cash out but strive for more by way of investing and improving my trading strategy in other to make more money from crypto currency. After achieving this goal the next agenda is to build a house since am still leaving in rental apartment, so cashing out is not altimate at the moment but work harder to get more.
