1761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Going Above 6k Soon!!!!! on: October 11, 2017, 03:47:10 PM
You are just making a mere assumption which may come to reality and may not come to reality so there is no point trusting Brother since you have no evidence of how your assumption will come to. Reality brother. For now the target is for the market to break the long awaited $5,000 before we talk of $6,000 in the nearest future.
1762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ? on: October 11, 2017, 03:21:46 PM
Like the title says, i would like some feedback from the experts in this industry, so far i have gathered these 5 most important that seem to be used by everyone, can you add more ways?

1. Twitter
2. Reddit
3. This forum
4. Telegram
5. Slack (which i heard is full of scammers)
Most of the above mention social media are good for the promotion of ICO, though for me, the best among them are bitcointalk.org followed by twitter, Telegram and Reddit. With this social media you are covered with your advert or campaign reaching the right people that will invest in your project.
1763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: when do you buy ? on: October 11, 2017, 02:05:40 PM
In most cases I buy bitcoin any time there is a fundamental news that affect its value downward, though there is no specific amount or percentage of level it will come down to before I will buy. For example, when China government make a pronouncement on panning bitcoin exchange activities that really affect the market value of bitcoin and other altcoins, I bought at the rate of $3,450 and I am now in profit at the current value.
1764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can Bitcoin help the developing world? on: October 11, 2017, 12:02:47 PM
For the developing world to benefit from bitcoin or crypto currency they have to adopt crypto currency into there system as soon as possible. And at the same time, they need to invest heavily to get the much needed money and to make businesses easy for the investors that will come into their country, and that will lead to development of the developing countries in the world.

And where is the spreadsheet? you remind me to the other user that was posting a signature campaign a few days ago, that he has not trust, and he said that he could run a campaign without funds escrowed, how can we trust you? You are saying that Hero Members slots are full, but you have not even posted an spreadsheet for those who applied before.

1768  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happened to bitcoins after one died? on: October 10, 2017, 07:12:48 PM
Who owns the bitcoin after someone died?  How to state this in the will? Please share your thoughts.
Ordinarily, when one dies, their next of kin takes over their accounts. Just like in a conventional setting. Any Bitcoin enthusiast and account holder should clearly state in their will how they intend to have their Bitcoin earnings shared. The first thing to do is to reveal to your will administrator your account details and instructions on how the Bitcoin could be shared or who should rightfully inherit it.
1769  Economy / Economics / Re: What country do you think will recognize Bitcoin as an official currency? on: October 10, 2017, 06:57:56 PM
It's a herculean task to pinpoint a particular country that would localise Bitcoin as an official currency. The cryptocurrency is already enmeshed in series of controversies and uncertainties. Countries of the world already have their currencies which they uniquely identify with. Bitcoin might just get some level of acceptance and recognition but it will be a tall order for any country to make bitcoin an official currency.

1771  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 08, 2017, 08:41:33 PM
There is no perfect answer as to the reason why people scam. However, while some persons scam to fraudulently acquire what does not belong to them. Others are habitual psychics who derive joy in emotionally twisting people to their advantage or for certain benefits. The motive of various scammers differs with the situation. A love scammer for instance uses emotional and psychological tactics to lure their victims perhaps towards defrauding them or to cause them harm.
1772  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the most used exchanges these days? on: October 08, 2017, 08:21:58 PM
I was around a good time ago and traded at this point, I used to know Poloniex and would trade on it religiously. I don't really know what are the biggest exchanges at the moment and the most trusted ones, I've heard there are some problems that people have voiced with Poloniex and some other exchanges.

Anyone want to share the ones they use with feedback that they have with it?

Thanks
In as much as I know, Bittrex exchange is one of the best crypto currency exchange company follow by Poloniex. Although, both of them has their own challenges and despite those bottleneck there still the best and most widely use by many in the crypto currency world.
1773  Economy / Economics / Why is bitcoin associated to the underworld? on: October 08, 2017, 08:05:07 PM
Since the introduction of bitcoin in 2009, security expert have raise a lot of concerns about how criminals are attracted to the crypto currency. Your candid opinion on why do you think bitcoin is a prefect currency for the bad guys?
1774  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: October 08, 2017, 07:32:32 PM
Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

It is my conviction that paper money cannot be entirely banned, atleast not in the nearest future. We can talk of less cash and not total cashlesness. It is a fact that there are growing array of alternatives but they have not been perfected to guarantee a total ban on paper cash. Paper money will definitely remain with us for a very long time. Developing societies will have a serious problem transitioning and hence the problem.
1775  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be regulated! on: October 08, 2017, 12:19:00 PM
I will like to have your view on this?  Can government's regulatory agency actually determined how bitcoin or others coins be use? If governments cannot regulate a currency be it fiat or cryptocurrency, are we having our financial freedom or investing in something that is going to create inflation and another financial crisis in future? What is the advantage or disadvantage of bitcoin unregulated? Thank, your view will be appreciated.
I don't think government will to regulate Bitcoin except individual government has to create their own altcoins. For government to control Bitcoin it then implies that the original purpose of Bitcoin which is anonymity is defeated. For me I don't want to take control over Bitcoin because they are the same with banks.

1778  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and festive season on: October 05, 2017, 06:40:02 PM
I like to ask if there is any correlation between bitcoin and festive seasons. For instance, I understand that during major festive season, just as Christmas is approaching, the exchange rate for paper money especially dollars, euro and pounds exchange for local currency usually increases to the favour of the foreign currencies. So my question is, do that happen that bitcoin also increases in major festive period? Like Christmas....
Since festive season like Christmas has influence the value of fiat currency like dollars, pounds, euro definitely it will affect the market value of bitcoin in a positive way and there is no doubt about it. am of the believe that by middle of december bitcoin value will reach unexpected value as a result of the festive demand for bitcoin.
1779  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk in a mobile app. on: October 05, 2017, 06:19:33 PM
I was just thinking since most of the people nowadays are using smartphones in all sorts of activities and all sorts of apps are now being used in our daily routine such as for emails, social media and etc. Can we also develop a mobile app for bitcointalk in both platforms iOS and Android?  for a much better way of accessing this forum.

Please advise if there is already an app or a topic that has already been posted regarding this. I am new to bitcoin by the way.
I don't think there will be need for any app since we can get all we need through browser which can be done on both desktop, laptop, and smartphone. Most of my post are done through my smartphone of which am comfortable with the use of browser. Please can tell us some of the advantages in using App over browser.
1780  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rise to 4300 $ on: October 05, 2017, 10:31:14 AM
BTC BTC rise  to 4300, What do you say about this spike ?
It is a sign that there is still room for bitcoin to move higher than what is current value stand. Equally, it is a sign that china influence is over though at $4,300 i think it was a little correction from what it was as at yesterday($4,500).
