1821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Small Coins For Massive Profits? on: September 20, 2017, 10:11:59 AM
I recently decided to invest 50$ into buzzcoin (really small coin, barely anyone knows about them), because the value was about 10 sats so i figured what the hell, right. Now it just got a reasonable pump that made me almost 350$ in profits in less than 5 days.

How would you find coins like this on a rather regular basis, are there strategies people follow? I don't plan on investing large amounts of money in them, as I've got BTC, LTC, NEO and a few ICO's for that, but it's fun to look for small coins that haven't pumped yet and invest a couple tens of dollars in them.
Waoo! That is a great profit there op. How I wish I could get such opportunity to buy such coins as low as that rate for I currently have $300 and am looking for such a great opportunity to invest my money too. I think it is not a strategies per say but just research about upcoming coins. Just that am not always online and that is my major challenge.
1822  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Noob question on: September 20, 2017, 07:35:15 AM

Hello, can I ask you if is  better  to trade Bitcoin  on the  Exanges (Binance.com, Poloniex)  or with   a  Broker  like XFMarket?

Maybe it's  better to trade it with Exanges because  there  are  less commissions fee  for trading?

I don't have much idea about trading bitcoin with forex broking firms, but what I do know is that, poloniex is a very good crypto currency exchange company which you can trade so many altcoin along side with bitcoin.
1823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin do you Trust the MOST? on: September 19, 2017, 09:15:31 PM
What Coin do you trust with your life to put your life savings/gains in?

If you are to choose a cold storage wallet to store most of your money, what wallet/coin would that be?

Thx
Investing my life saving income in any coins is the most difficult things for me to do when to the issue of investment. When it come to investment in crypto currency I give much priority to bitcoin but not 100 percent though, since there is need for diversification when it come to the issue of investment so as not to lose heavly of your capital, if one should invest in just one coin.

1824  Economy / Economics / Re: On what year crypto in general will be massively adopted? on: September 19, 2017, 08:21:30 PM
Japan started making btc legal now, India is following, maybe China is Next? then within 5 years from now maybe the crypto world can be well known?
One cannot actually tell which particular year bitcoin or crypto currency will be generally adopted by different government in the world. But what I believe is that in the next 10 years to come maybe upto 13 countries will adopt and legalise bitcoin and other crypto currency.
1825  Economy / Economics / Re: China's influence on bitcoin is becoming insignificant. on: September 19, 2017, 06:00:36 PM
Chinese government has been making moves to control the influence of bitcoin on its economy but bitcoin keep rearing on international market. I think the decentralized system of bitcoin make it impossible  for any government to binned its activities. We should also know that the fake news site are just promoting lie in other to create panic in other for amateurs traders to sell at lose and blame China regulatory agency for their woo.
This is an indication that no government in the world can single handedly ban bitcoin and it will have a significant on bitcoin or crypto currency in general. Fake news site has nothing to offer rather than looking for mere trafic to their site, but it is unfortunate for them because so many bitcoin holders are aware of the potential in bitcoin and that made many of us not to sell at lost during panic.
1826  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to invest/grow your Bitcoins? on: September 19, 2017, 04:52:14 PM
There are so many legitimate ways to invest/ grow your bitcoin. Some of them includes, buy bitcoin and hold pending when its value increase, invest in a project during ICO, trading altcoin with different exchanges, lending etc.
1827  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is neither a currency nor a store of value ! on: September 19, 2017, 03:10:26 PM
I don't agree with your submission that bitcoin is neither aaa currency nor a store of value, this is because I believe that bitcoin serve as a digital currency and as a store of value over time.
1828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy or wait? on: September 19, 2017, 01:04:00 PM
I believe the ball is in your court on whether to buy or not to buy at the current market value. In my opinion, there is a tendency that its value will increase in no time.
1829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to do when price keep dropping ? on: September 18, 2017, 11:02:14 PM
What to do when price keep dropping ?
Well all depends on when you enter the market and that determine whether to sell or not to sell. Although for me personally I rather wait just like what I did with bitcoin before the laater return to $4000.
1830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you read ICOs white paper before investing? on: September 18, 2017, 07:36:58 PM
Yes I use to read the ICO white paper before investing my money, and not only that I also look the integrity of the manager who promote the ICO. This is because there are campaign manager who don't promote scam ICO. So these are some the things I take into consideration before investing in any ICO.
1831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: September 18, 2017, 11:50:33 AM
What do you think will happen to crypto currencies following the latest news on the #ban on ICO in China?

will the already successful ICO's refund people's monies to them?

Is it good for governments to ban the use of crypto currencies?

Tell me what you think about any of these.  Smiley
We have already seeing the side effect of the ICO and local bicoin exchange ban by the China government. Bitcoin market value really went down from $4700 or there about to $3,150. But currently the panic sell is over and the price has move to $3,825. 32 as at time of this post, which shows that in no time, bitcoin value will return to $4,600.
1832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: September 18, 2017, 05:52:16 AM
I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.
There is no gain saying that ethereum, litcoin and other major altcoin has no future, because it is glaring that some of them are growing from strength to strength as bitcoin grow in market value over time.
1833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH - will it go lower on: September 18, 2017, 02:38:18 AM
It's currently $286 on coinmarketcap. I need to buy some ETH to participate in an ICO soon. Is now a good time to buy or do you think it will go down more in the next few days?
I believe it is the right time to buy ethereum because, it may not decline further any longer sine the recent decline was as a result of the decline in bitcoin market value. And since bitcoin is currently on the upward direction so also ethereum is on the upward direction in value. This happen because bitcoin is an independent currency but ethereum and other altcoins are all dependent on bitcoin, and that is why what ever affect bitcoin affect them equally.
1834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any disadvantages or advantages of receiving BTC as a payment? on: September 18, 2017, 01:36:47 AM
There are numbers of advantages of both receiving bitcoin as a payment and using bitcoin as a mode of payment for either products or services. When you receive bitcoin as a payment and maybe its market value rise, let say from $3000 to $5000, in this case the receiver has end up making profit because bitcoin serve as a store of value. And if you receive bitcoin as a payment for products or services and its market value depreciate drastically, then you will be at lost at the end of the day.
1835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How cryptos affect your life? on: September 17, 2017, 09:52:18 PM
I'm always on Blockfolio, twitter, Reddit, and bitcointalk. You can trade 24/7. Cryptos never sleep. I stay up later to read more about cryptos. I spend half of my weekend to catch up on cryptos and research on the latest ICOs. What's your experience.
I spend most of my leisure time in bitcointalk forum here reading comments and relying to some comments. For now i can say that bitcoin has so far affect my life in a positive way since i got to know about bitcoin.
1836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The price of bitcoin decreases on: September 17, 2017, 09:17:32 PM
Well, I observed Bitcoin price movement since yesterday morning and it's sad to note that its price continues to fall. Price of Bitcoin as of this writing is $3240.00. http://coincap.io/
The market value of bitcoin decline in recent time was as a result of China ban on local bitcoin exchange and that of JPMorgan statement against bitcoin. Although bitcoin is currently on the upward trend at $3,710 which shows that in no time its value will return to $4,800 again.
1837  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: September 17, 2017, 07:31:45 PM
Bitcoin as a crypto currency has been rising in prominence and its reputation has been rising favorably over the years. its value has risen even more than that of gold. The price of Bitcoin will continue to soar over the next 5 years.

1839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: September 16, 2017, 03:44:26 PM
I believe it is the right time to buy ethereum because of the current decline in the market value of bitcoin which was coursed by JP Morgan statement on bitcoin and the ICO ban by the China government has affected the value of ethereum negatively.
