To set the record straight, what are the consequences of a user meriting a non-merit worthy post and what is yardstick to classify a post as not worthy of merits.
Such action can be classified as abuse of service because it does not deliver it to where it should be. There are cases where some users post merit on other users' apps on the service board as a form of support, but there are cases where users post merit on POA from newbie members or low rank on the bounty board as a condition for ranking up. Those are two different cases and maybe you know what the difference is and how to judge it. The problem of consequences in my opinion is very subjective depending on each user. Some DTs may be willing to post negative tag for users who abuse merit and some may not because of theymos friendly approach or themselves to users who abuse merit system.

Haaland and Nunez transfers are of course the most impressive ones in the Premier League so far. People would be expectant about Haaland the most I assume but we will see which one of them will perform better. I also believe in Haaland to adapt quickly to Manchester City and the Premier League and start putting a great show. Haaland and Nunez both can fight for finishing the season as the top scorer too. They will have very tough opponents like Salah and Son for example considering their last season performance. I would like to see Haaland at the top.
As a Manchester City fan, I also think that Haaland will be able to adapt quickly next season. That's very likely to be expected as he's a very good player so far based on his performances at Dortmund. I'd also like to see it above, it would be really good.

Nunez, who was bought by Liverpool from Benfica, might be expected to adapt well in the Premier League as well. I may not know him very well but he is also the best talent in his current position. He is a good player as a striker, but maybe things still don't go as expected because next season he is playing in the Premier League.

There could be few reasons for it.
1. Try doing a hard refresh Ctrl+Shift+R. This will clear your cache and reload everything.
I did, but sadly it didn't help at all. I tested it using the wifi network and the mobile internet network from different providers, and still with the same result and it doesn't work. So I think it would be better to use a different hosting site while we can leave imgBB for a while until the issue is resolved.

Imgur and Postimage are my two current choices for hosting images, so there's no harm in leaving the other hosting site right?
2244  Other / Meta / Re: [INFO]Gambling Board Spams; Concerns, Solutions & Suggestions on: June 21, 2022, 10:54:12 PM
OTOH, I have a feeling that those shitposters in campaigns will invariably find a way to get around whatever restrictions/changes that are imposed, since they still have to meet their post quota (and you know nothing's going to stop them from doing that).
I'm sure there must be a stopped to spammers if they never change and keep making really bad posts especially when a number of posts are reported and deleted by moderators then that user will get a warning. Moderators will ban spamming users especially after a large number of their posts are deleted and moderators usually give them a temporary ban before banning the user permanently.

Quote
Campaign Participants:

Staff do not want to hand out bans for unconstructive posts but if we feel that you as a user are continually making very poor or unsubstantial posts due to your paid signature the following bans will be issued:

First offence: 7 days
Second offence: 14 days
Third offence: 30 days
Fourth: Permanent ban

If more and more self-moderation thread remove a large number of spam posts from spammers then it will only reduce spam without any meaningful change to the culprit unless a neutral or negative tag is given (negative tags probably shouldn't be), but by reporting the post then there are two benefits to be had is taken and it is less spam because it is removed and chances of stopping spammers due to temporary ban or permanent ban. But I can totally understand why the OP is starting to worry about the gambling board so far and that's why many merit source will ignore that board.

I can't stand imgur.  You can't upload photos without an account, and the adds are as obnoxious nails on a chalkboard.  Most of the time when I post images here they're obviously related to bitcoin, and I don't need some third party image hosting company tracking my financial habits.
I don't think so, I can even use the tool without having an account. Here's an example.

Apart from that there are several other image hosting sites that are also great for you to use without having an account, no KYC required. Although I mostly use imgbb or imgur, but this one is also worth a try. https://postimages.org/

I am not getting what is the connection between merit and trust. If a person is bad doesn't mean the religion is bad by the way.
You're right, but this kind of thinking doesn't seem to work for the OP. That's probably his right because I don't think we should regulate his beliefs and views on a religion. There's a possible personal grudge that might have led the OP to start spreading this hate, so I really have no reason to agree with his assumptions about that celebratory thread.

I respect all religion personally. So don't be jealous.
That's what it should be and this forum is really good at it.
2247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 20, 2022, 06:05:15 PM
Indeed Manchester United have a good squad overall, but from some of the coaches who managed this team last season I would say they failed. I don't know what their failure was due to what factors, maybe from the players themselves or from the strategy the coach was given. Every time a new coach manages this team it is always accompanied by the belief that they will be successful, but in reality they are not able to deliver everything that is expected. Now that Ten Hag came with the same expectation, the question was whether he would really be able to give his best or not.
As Manchester United is a team that has had a lot of success in the past, there is a lot of pressure coming on each of their new coaches as the fans and management are eager to repeat that success quickly. That is highly unlikely because other teams like Manchester City have performed with much better quality than before and that has annoyed the Manchester United coach.

Even Mourinho's class is not able to handle Manchester United well and restore its glory, so it seems appropriate to doubt Ten Hag next season because the competition between Premier League teams will be even tighter.
2248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 20, 2022, 05:57:41 PM
Lukaku has tried several times in the Premier League but he has never been able to find his best form, unlike when he was with Inter Milan. I think it was a factor in his incompatibility with the style of play of Premier League teams that made him unable to develop.
and for his decision to return to Inter Milan, of course, full of risk because to get the main place he must be able to compete with the strikers who are already at Inter Milan, now Inter Milan is very serious about building a team to be able to win the Scudetto again next season and so far what what they are doing I think continues in a positive direction for the progress of the team.
In my opinion, Lukaku had a good performance in the Premier League and that's when he played for Manchester United. Even though at the time some people might not think that he was good, but I think he had good goal stats there. But after Chelsea were interested in signing him, I really believe that his performance was not at all what was expected. He's too weak to rely on and that won't help the team much.

It might be good if next season he returns to play for one of the Serie A teams that are interested in him, so Lukaku can always get back to his best even though last season he wasn't at his best. So will he really return to Inter next season?
2249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: June 18, 2022, 08:27:33 PM
1. Be patient, don't panic.
2. Buy and hold.

The first attitude is very suitable to be applied and very many traders experience tremendous panic when they see the market price drop, especially Bitcoin is now at $18k.

It's becoming increasingly apparent that other coins are very influential on Bitcoin. So, the opportunity to buy to increase the volume of Bitcoin can be done again for long-term investments. The current market situation in my opinion is a very tough test to be applied by those who are impatient.

Do not panic. Everything will get better.
The biggest threat when the price drops is the loss or diminishing of the estimated value you have for your bitcoins and other Crypto assets. This is a factor that makes traders panic because not all traders and investors will be able to survive without worrying at times like this.

Weak hands will sell and secure their capital, strong hands will buy to make a profit in the long term. Situations like this will continue to be repeated because the weak will get weaker and the strong will get stronger. So make a choice in which group we will be at a time like this and of course the finances and the strength of the funds we have will determine everything.
2250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 18, 2022, 11:39:46 AM
Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also very ready. There is a possibility that the dominance of Manchester City and Liverpool will end next season.
Of course there is a possibility, but rest assured that you will only see a slim possibility for it. In the last 5 seasons, not many teams have been able to stop Manchester City's dominance in the Premier League, except for Liverpool in the previous 2 seasons (2019-2020) and the rest were won by Manchester City.

It is okay for teams like Manchester United, Tottenham, Arsenal and others to improve the quality of their players by buying top players but Manchester City have been the leading team in the last 5 seasons with 4 titles. I just think Liverpool and Chelsea are really good title contenders with Manchester City every season and the rest is competing for a place in the Champions League.

2251  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: [DISKUSI] Harga Bitcoin on: June 18, 2022, 11:22:01 AM

2252  Economy / Speculation / Re: $13,000 is quite possible this week on: June 18, 2022, 11:09:40 AM
Every time I see the numbers 20k, 15k, 13k, I don't believe in that bitcoin price. But now bitcoin is already worth almost 19k and it only needs to drop 30% to reach 13k. I guess it's not as fantastic as it looked a month ago. Now we just have to hope the price doesn't fall even lower. Surprisingly, altcoins are not reacting much to bitcoin's continued fall right now.
Bitcoin is looking for a bottom, we're really seeing a strong push for it and today frantic traders have swayed the price where the low in the last 24 hours was $18.7K based on cmc. Obviously there are two directions that are always possible, but at the moment bearishness is heard throughout the space and that has raised concerns.

The market cap of bitcoin has dropped and is currently at $369,572,716,314, this of course won't be able to convince anything about the possibility of $13K but we are aware that $13K is always possible. But you don't have to wait for a deeper dip just to find the right time to buy, maximize the opportunity now and do DCA.
2253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 18, 2022, 10:54:33 AM
Rumors of Real Madrid preparing to fight for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham to replace Luka Modric, Real Madrid's consistency in refreshing the squad in the transfer market is a threat to Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Because the possibility for Madrid to be eliminated from the top of the LaLiga standings will be increasingly difficult.
Every team always has the opportunity to get tough competition from any team in the league, and of course in this case Real Madrid have realized it so they continue to increase the strength of their team by buying some new players. But you can't be sure that they will continue to lead the table throughout next season because really it just depends on how they go through the season.

Barcelona have performed well last season with Xavi, it has put Real Madrid under threat and not the other way around. If Real Madrid don't feel threatened then what's the point of them buying new players? I mean, in Laliga Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and some other teams are the challengers while Real Madrid are the defending champions. So it's true that Real Madrid's status will be threatened if some of the challengers start to look good.
2254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 18, 2022, 10:29:39 AM
I don't think it's an important problem because when Madrid have a lot of professional players into the club it will make this club very strong and of course it will make it difficult for opponents to try to break into Madrid's defense, it's just that it depends on Madrid being able to add players with spend a lot of money or not.
Every football player is a professional player, but maybe you mean a top player who has good qualities. The quality of the team depends on the composition of the players, if in a club there are enough quality players then surely they have a good performance to win the game. In addition, the coach's strategy will be very useful regardless of the quality of the players.

Because Real Madrid is one of the best in the world, it is their obligation to have great players every season so that they can maintain their reputation as top tips. They can afford some expensive players because they have the money, it puts them ahead of any team.
2255  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you realize that you are an economist without a degree? on: June 17, 2022, 04:13:03 PM
I find this more financial education than economics. Imho economics means also (or primarily?) legislation on the matter, which we don't know that good.
Financial education is a subject rather than economics, but since the word economics is so common it covers many other subjects including investing and so on and it all boils down to economics.

If everyone knew how our financial system works, they would have been against it.
I believe that since this bitcoin exists that many people have started to oppose the centralized financial system, but in reality we still can't go without adopting it in our daily life because this world is a prison. Regardless of what we want about the financial system and so on, then I believe we are part of a centralized system.
2256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is investing more than you can afford to lose inevitable? on: June 17, 2022, 03:56:52 PM
However, if you know the right time when to invest in Bitcoin then what you can only see is profit. Like others including me, blockhalving is the right time to invest but if you believe in Bitcoin right now you can start investing in Bitcoin and hold them tight for a long period of time but expect for price drop this coming few months.
Invest for the amount you can afford to lose, it is not only about the possible losses you will incur due to market fluctuations but also about the possible loss of your assets from the wallet due to not having good security regardless if it is due to hacking or losing access to the wallet.

The OP needs to learn when is the right time to buy and hold it long term as an investment asset, but he has to learn about how to secure his wallet long term. So we both need to know that the risk of investing in bitcoin is not only about price fluctuations, but also about wallet security which is 100% the responsibility of the user himself.
2257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: June 17, 2022, 03:47:30 PM
It's still uncertain and no one knows if it will take long to get back up and get to the new ATH again. Because now crypto is getting known and whales are starting to look at crypto. Some manipulation is done to make the price lower, so that the whales have the opportunity to buy at a lower price. Market drips significantly test those new holders to sell their assets.
You're right, there is no surefire way to know how long it will take the market to recover and hit ATH again. Currently, traders and investors will certainly be waiting for how the new bitcoin price pattern will form after the recent correction. But for those long-term investors, then they may have made a purchase and took advantage of this moment.

We know that manipulation is always possible in the market during this correction, but I would disagree if someone said only whales can control the market regardless of the purpose. While whales have the power to move the market, it's clearly not going to happen in the long term as they usually only last a very short time. We can also take advantage of this moment of correction because actually $20K is a pretty cheap price compared to the previous ATH which hit $69K.
2258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 17, 2022, 03:29:52 PM
Worst of it all, the match Chelsea betweent Crystal Palace Lukaku had 7 only touches while on the pitch and didn't impress in that match with just a single touch throughout the first half, that is a bad record for a such a highly rated striker, Moreso their was a time Lukaku made a public statement which criticized Chelsea tactics and style of play thereafter Tuchel made his own remark that is not the time to ridicule or laugh about Lukaku, I want Tuchel to give him another chance should his purported loan to Inter Milan fail possibly he might up his game and get back his form.
Lukaku's best performances in the Premier League were when he was a player for Everton and Manchester United. During 3 seasons with Everton he scored 53 goals, while at Manchester United he scored 37 goals in 2 seasons. Last season he only scored 10 goals for Chelsea in his first season, but it is still possible to improve if he gets the chance to play again with Chelsea next season.

Lukaku may still struggle to adapt to Chelsea's style of play, but he is a good player to be considered a goal machine by some of the teams who have earned his services. Lukaku may still struggle to adapt to Chelsea's style of play, but he is a good player to be considered a goal machine by some of the teams who have earned his services. Inter also had him for 2 seasons and Lukaku was really good there with a total of 60 goals before moving to Chelsea.
2259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 17, 2022, 03:14:05 PM
AC milan really understands how they have to keep ibrahimovich even though Ibra is no longer as good as he used to be in playing, nowadays Ibra seems to have become an icon for Milan and as we know the influence of ibra outside and on the field is quite large for the milan players, especially young players, Besides that, Milan really needs Ibra as a leader who is able to awaken the mentality of Milan game so far, so the new contract given by Milan to Ibra actually has a bigger meaning than Ibra has to play in field  and it seems that even if Ibra retires later, Milan will definitely continue to use ibra services as one of the management staff.
Ibrahimovic is not the leader/captain at Milan although he is known as the most senior player in the team so far. Ibrahimovic is also known as a player who is not loyal to one team and that may be the reason why he did not captain the team at Milan. Romagnoli is the current team captain at Milan, but has now also been linked with a move.

In the last few days there have been recent rumors about players being targeted by Milan in this summer transfer window where there are three new names being rumored and they are Jesse Lingard, Gabriel Jesus and Min-jae Kim. I don't know which one is most likely to be brought in, but it's just a rumour.
2260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mentor experience in crypto trading. on: June 16, 2022, 08:52:42 PM
But, are there a major change the way crypto market works? Over the past 13 years I think it still work the same. There are still two cycles and that is the bear and the bull. There are coins that come and go but that is normal as they are just junk coins but legit and top cryptos are still there that keeps on going up or going down (fluctuating).

Maybe it's true that mentors are usually the ones which have now a retired from the field that they are teaching because if not then it will be hard for them to coach/mentor people as mentoring is not easy as it seems. This is better so that they can only focus on one thing and they can give you a better advice.
The best mentors in the crypto market are the experiences of others that are shared for free on these forums. Let's be honest that bitcoin and some of the top altcoins are the right choice if someone wants to own an asset that makes them profitable in the long run, they should buy it for an amount they can afford to lose.

Market fluctuations will make traders profit, but also they will be very likely to lose if they are not really able to have a good strategy. Be patient and believe in the potential and understand how to secure it, it is the correct way to invest in this volatile asset.
