1461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: December 15, 2022, 11:19:38 AM
That's because you are playing on reputable sites, which never intend to do something as disgusting as running away with players money. But overall in the gambling world such things happen quite often. Scammers create copycats of known sites and lure gamblers there with promises of unreal bonuses on deposits, unrealistically good odds on sportsbetting and stuff. Hanging out here on bitcointalk we rarely encounter dishonest behaviour of gambling platforms towards their users(of course I mean the platforms presented here), but we shouldn't forget that in reality there are a lot of scammers in the world of gambling.
Even well-known sites are not spared from accusation or problems from gamblers. Regardless it is proven or not but there is always a risk about any online casino.

Therefore we must remain wise in using casinos and may not make this casino a place to store assets. Casinos are generally centralized, and the biggest fear is that they will cheat the gamblers in the end especially when the casino does not have a good reputation.
1462  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Making post for merit on: December 14, 2022, 05:31:00 PM
Yes, I will always remember your words.

hoping for more is not allowed, and will only lead to disappointment, when your expectations are too high and it doesn't happen, that's what makes you disappointed in yourself. So yeah, do it sincerely and don't expect too much.
You can expect merit, and actually you can ask merit source to review your posts in some dedicated threads. But one thing, you shouldn't beg for merit because it's very annoying. Expecting a lot of merit must be in line with your efforts and consistency in making quality posts. You'll find people reward your knowledge with merit and the merit system won't prevent you from rank up.

Don't post for merit, some people will find it fishing and of course it will never help you earn more. Just do what you have to do, and you just have to do it consistently. If you feel your post is quality but you lack merit then report on merit source in this thread:

- [self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source
- [Merit] Share your best posts/threads with Fillippone to be merit assessed
1463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A class about Bitcoin is being taught at the university.I am an teacher on there on: December 14, 2022, 05:18:10 PM
One thing about your effort is, yes it's absolutely great for getting people to know about bitcoin.
I'm getting doubted by the way you teach your students where every computer in front of the students doesn't display something about bitcoin. They should read something about bitcoin where you act as the teacher guiding them with explanations, but it seems you're not doing it based on the photos.

If you actually do what you say in the thread for your students then you have contributed to bitcoin. But if this thread is just your attempt to earn merit or fishing merit, then I think you will fail at that. Honestly it would be a great idea if you and your university managed to spread the word about bitcoin, and I wish you success teaching your students about bitcoin with the right information.

Then he should choose Chelsea if Chelsea officially comes for him, he has to let go of all those rivalry and loyalty bullshit. Already that have cause him to not have a successful ending career, assuming he went to Manchurian city as it was earlier started, we won't be here today discussing this because he would had been happy and playing good football just like his counterpart messi. Ronaldo's poor form at the world cup had contributions from his time at Manchester united and how it ended, he wasn't in form because he didn't get good playing times and the environment was toxic to him as he stated in those interview.

Meanwhile Messi was busy enjoying his time and not having much work of carrying the whole team on his shoulder since he had other superstar playing with him. Ronaldo needs a club he can relax and enjoy good football, Chelsea don't relay on strikers to score their goals so it might just be a perfect retiring ground for him and also we're still in the champions league which we're aiming to win.
Chelsea may sign Ronaldo in the second half of the season. We all know that Ronaldo has been unhappy at Manchester United lately, and now Ronaldo has been released from that prison and has managed to get what he wants. Chelsea must immediately make an offer to Ronaldo's agent and side and perhaps a verbal agreement can begin after Ronaldo's official exit from the World Cup.

But one question really crossed my mind, if Chelsea managed to bring in Ronaldo who I know has played in the European League this season, maybe Chelsea can play him in the Champions League? Does anyone know the rules.

Ikr. Comparing to Rodrygo and Alvarez who playing in big clubs, Majer is not that good. Honestly Croatia don't have great young generation.
We really understand Croatia's situation, especially about the quality of the players. Modric and Perisic and other players have helped Croatia reach the semifinals, but their failure to reach the final isn't too bad if we compare the quality of the two teams between Croatia and Argentina.

I don't think about the referee's mistake in leading the match which then benefited Argentina got penalty for their first goal. I don't want to criticize him even though his decisions can impact a lot of things. Croatia didn't really excel on the basis of quality even though they had high possession throughout the match. Argentina have sealed their fate in the semi-finals and they have given their best so far in the World Cup. Now Argentina in the final, and we will wait for the opponent.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why every casino got bad habits? on: December 13, 2022, 09:54:09 PM
What do you expect? That is why it's called a scam accusation because all posts there must only be a scam but there are false accusation sometimes made by those newbies.
Of course there will always be false accusations, but in the end it's just futile. Strong evidence must be provided when someone wants to fight the casino, without proof they are just wasting your time.

There must be a reason on why a good casino can confiscate funds and it could be because their player have done some abuse. Delayed withdrawals are normal and should not be reported as a scam immediately.
It is hoped that there will be a solution to every problem, but for abuse on the part of players it should be considered a mistake. Gamblers have the responsibility to comply with the casino rules, while the casino must obey its own rules. If there is a problem then I think the casino will try to solve it wisely, unless the casino is really a scam.

Never mind, we all have to admit that Argentina is a better team than Croatia after watching this game. Maybe some pre-match hesitation is understandable as Croatia had the luck and success to reach the semi-finals, but in the end Argentina showed their quality.

Julián Alvarez and Messi scored a goal in this match. Messi started the win with a penalty goal, while Julián Álvarez scored twice, one of which was a great Messi assist. I had expected an Argentina win, but as the semi-finals were expected to be tight the game was really hard to predict before kickoff. Messi scored 5 goals and 3 assists at the 2022 World Cup, while Alvarez scored 4 goals. The two striker will compete on an individual level, but team performance must come first. Congratulations to Argentina for reaching the final, and now we will all have to wait and see who will take the other ticket in France vs Morocco.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 13, 2022, 05:52:10 PM
I can't imagine how Argentina failed today against Croatia. Argentina must have a very strong determination to beat Croatia even though it will not be easy. Croatia is known to have good midfield skills, that's because of Modric and I admit that. However, at this stage, it is indeed difficult to find a winner, even though most of the Argentina are the favorites.

It's currently 1 hour 10 minutes to the match. I can't wait anymore for this match especially to see who is actually crying and who will be happy. I hope Messi will cry tears of joy if Argentina wins, while he will probably experience the same sadness as Ronaldo if in the end Argentina loses.
1469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Bitcoin project a failure after all ? on: December 12, 2022, 06:39:27 PM
It has been 12 years since Satoshi disappeared on December 12, 2010.
Now, it seems to have become something quite different from what he originally set out to do, doesn't it ?
I want to hear "How did you see the development of Bitcoin at that time ?
And how do you all feel about the current situation, which is far from the "pure" world that he aimed for ?"
I remember something satoshi have to say and it was at least like "in the next 10 or 20 years bitcoin will have a large volume of transactions or none at all". This means that satoshi has indeed predicted that the success of bitcoin as we feel today is very possible to achieve. Bitcoin is in great demand due to its use as a decentralized currency and trading asset and will continue to increase.

Bitcoin adoption has increased and we all know that it will continue to increase. People need convenience in transactions and they expect more security and speed and lower fee. Bitcoin offers that to users where it is a real advantage of bitcoin over fiat. Finally I can say bitcoin and satoshi have been a huge success and will be in the long term.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 12, 2022, 06:22:42 PM
I agree with you. Argentina are considerably stronger than Croatia in attacking and defense department. But Croatia played a game that looked like they were targeting from the start of the match that they would take the match to extra time. They also play the mind game well during the match. I don't think Argentina will want this match to go to extra time anyway, because they will never want to take the pressure of penalty shoot out after going into extra time.
In the last game, Croatia was really strong when they beat Brazil. Their midfielder was indeed able to make Brazil fail to build attacks properly because Croatia tends to dominate the midfield compared to Brazil. Midfield dominance in that game will be crucial, and Croatia may do the same against Argentina.

Argentina has many advantages over Croatia, but certainly has some weaknesses. Argentina has a tendency to get emotional quickly so it will be very bad when the game with high tension. Their quarter-final match was really bad, the game was so rough even though in the end they won the match. It is true that Argentina is expected to reach the final this time, however I will be looking forward to the two teams actually fighting for a ticket.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would be an ideal KYC solution? on: December 12, 2022, 05:57:29 PM
KYC is a never-ending debate, but we all know what we want in this space, no KYC is a freedom you can't buy from anyone, it is an indispensable element for users regardless of the casino's benefits. Money laundering in casinos can be reduced by limiting the number of withdrawals unless the casino does so and uses the players as the victims.

Just a few hours ago, Cointracker users emails were leaked due to some carelessness on the team's part, and the users are angry and want to sue the company for allowing their data to be exposed, the same scenario can happen to Casino if it has not already happened, nobody can properly save your documents the way you do, and the moment they are uploaded to the internet, that is the end of your privacy.
I can't really gamble at casinos that exempt me from KYC. Some of the casinos don't ask for personal documents at first, but when you win something that looks like a big, they may demand that you complete the KYC. The lowest data is email, then cellphone number, and maybe they will ask for other data such as bills or whatever they think is necessary so that withdrawals can be made. Regulatory reasons may make sense, but it sure hurts the customer in the end when this data is leaked and misused.

KYC should not be required for any gambler, but since some people may use gambling sites for money laundering or other unlawful things, rules were definitely made. All problems start with the user himself, and therefore prevention is thought of regardless of being detrimental or beneficial to one side or both parties.
1472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 12, 2022, 05:23:43 PM
With the German side investing 17 players in Qatar 2022 world cup, I think the clash with PSG in the round of 16 will be quite challenging for them. Same with a few other clubs like Madrid and  Manchester City. If I'm not betting on the wrong horse, I think  It will be a better advantage for Liverpool, Leipzig, and PSG to escape this champion league phase.
I will not support Germany represented by Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Look at what they got at the World Cup and you should know who is the best right now between the Germans and the French players.

PSG is more convincing to beat Germany in the round of 16 especially because they have attackers who are able to maintain their form so far. Messi and Mbappe are still in the semi-finals of the World Cup and both are in contention for the golden boot this time around, but I wouldn't underestimate Bayern Munich in the Champions League considering the club level competition is very different compared to the World Cup.

Broken 💔 Dream's for Cristiano Ronaldo and all of Portugal National Team. I feel gutted seeing the side and my favorites knocked out of the FIFA World Cup. Morocco defended like never before, blames are on the coach for dropping Ronaldo on the bench.

A win for Morocco is a win for all but I'm a bit sad seeing Cristiano Ronaldo going off the FIFA World Cup competition so early.
Good luck to Morocco in the future, I didn't give them the support the deserve but they surprised me totally by beating, Belgium, holding Croatia down, knocking Span outta the Competition and now my favorite Portugal. Good Luck to my Morroccan Brothers.
It was all Portugal destiny, and now everyone has to accept it. Morocco is a very surprising team where they have eliminated many top National teams. Morocco drwa versus Croatiain grup stage and beat Belgium, Spain loss at round of 16 and today they also beat Portugal in quarter final. I have never been convinced and aware of Morocco's strength in this World Cup before until today they really showed their strength to the world that they are not a weak team. No about luck, they have all worked hard to be recognized by the world.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 10, 2022, 12:30:30 PM
Well, will Morocco's defense be able to withstand today, or will Portugal repeat their previous success and show how football should be played? =) Morocco managed to achieve a very good result at this World Cup, but enough unexpected surprises, it's time to win with the favorites. I'm a little surprised why the odds for Portugal's win are 1.76? I expect that Portugal will win today, the reliable defense of Morocco should fail. I wonder if Ronaldo will play in the starting lineup, or will he start the match again on the bench?
It's okay if Morocco loses this game, it's because Morocco is a dark horse team and they are not the favourites. But if Morocco manages to beat Portugal then obviously it is one big hit and it will be spectacular. I think Morocco will be very defensively focused against Portugal and they will try to do everything they can to keep a clean sheet. I was expecting Portugal to be overwhelmed against the Moroccan defense like when Morocco beat Spain, but Portugal are a different team.

Support for Morocco today will be overwhelming. They are a team that represents Africa and of course they will get great support from Qatar, African countries and others. Even if Morocco loses, then they must lose in an honorable way.
1475  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Hit $23,000 in Q1 2023? on: December 10, 2022, 11:46:58 AM
In my opinion it is very possible, in the middle of last November the price has touched $ 22k, unfortunately there was a FTX case that made panic and there was a correction of up to more than 35% to around % 15k, and now the market seemed to be starting to grow positive so I was sure Q1 2023 would touch $ 23k even more.
Everyone will be happy if the price of bitcoin becomes more expensive in 2023, but nevertheless the price of bitcoin is always unpredictable. $23K in Q1 2023 is very likely, even bitcoin could be more expensive than $23K if the demand increases.

FTX issues shouldn't impact market conditions forever. This will soon change with time and market forces will return because trading never stops. Price volatility is normal and of course prices could be higher than we anticipated or could be lower than we think is impossible at the moment.
1476  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say. Bitcoins, not "cryptos" on: December 10, 2022, 10:10:31 AM
I think what you say is true too, because I've seen some people who first knew Shitcoin but they didn't know about Bitcoin so they considered it the same. Even though in general it must be distinguished because Shitcoin was born for the short term or to make people who already like Bitcoin want to switch to Shitcoin. Because Shitcoin makers usually provide very tempting offers at the beginning of their manufacture. Even if it ends up being a scam.
Seriously, I think altcoin and bitcoin are the same when it comes to trading. However I would say both differ in their usage as well as the purpose for which they are made. Most altcoin developers create altcoins for the purpose of personal gain as most of them tend to focus on value rather than use cases. Bitcoin is not the case, the main purpose of bitcoin is as a currency and it is clear that today the use of bitcoin as a means of payment has increased rapidly.

It is true that not all altcoins are the same and not all of them are failed projects. Some altcoin can be considered as investments with their respective risks, however bitcoin as a decentralized asset will be very convincing.
1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 10, 2022, 09:54:51 AM
Atletico Madrid struggles have being a worrying topic, their performance have dropped drastically and form poor. Now I doubt they can compete against Barcelona and Real Madrid for the trophy this season although their are chances of competing for the champions league top four spot this season but there is still lots of games to come and we will see how Atletico Madrid can react to the season after the break.
One of my beliefs about Atletico Madrid is that they will very likely qualify for the Champions League despite their current slump. There are indeed doubts about the team's current condition after not being convincing enough since the start of the competition. The intense competition in Laliga has left Atletico Madrid looking weak, but as a top team I'm sure they will still pick themselves up and get back on track.

Atletico Madrid needed a lot of changes in the second half of the season mainly because some of their important players didn't seem very motivated to play at their best. Griezmann and Felix and some of the other players weren't at their best but I don't know what the problem is. Simeone must be very capable of making an impact on the team's mentality which this season doesn't seem to be theirs, so they have to fix something, especially performance issues.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 10, 2022, 09:43:42 AM
Honestly the absence of Gabriel Jesus when the league resume will have a negative impact on Arsenal, he has been a workaholic and hardworking striker who always assisted the team defensively as well as a good ball dribbler and with 5 goals and 6 assist to his credit this season is a good statistic, unfortunately his injury is a big blow to Arsenal title bid sidelining with three months injury will affect the team because I don't think Nketiah is capable enough to fill his role as a complete striker, alternatively Arteta might play Martinelli as the main striker while Nketiah comes as a substitute, Arsenal fans will feel bad with this latest news.
Arsenal's striker stock this season seems sufficient even though one of them has suffered an injury. I agree that Jesus' injury will have an impact on Arsenal's attacking power, but considering there are other players who can make up for this deficiency, it doesn't seem to matter.

So far Arsenal and the consistency is still very convincing, but I don't know how things can turn out for them in the second half of the season. I only believe that other strong teams like Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham or Manchester United will continue to try their best to collect more points, and of course this will affect Arsenal's progress at the top.
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 09, 2022, 09:44:55 PM
What's happening this time also with Argentina vs Netherlands, for a moment you think Messi's camarades are controlling the match and really playing a beautiful football scored two goals and everyone was sure it's over for tonight. Then boom Netherlands found out that Argentina defense are not that strong and took the chance and played till last minutes where they could draw the scores once again and they are now playing for their chances to qualify for semi finals
Of course right, Argentina's strategy at the end of the second half was really bad. They made a lot of mistakes when they were already 2 goals up, it was really bad and didn't matter. Now things are going to be difficult for Argentina especially as the Netherlands looks very confident going into the penalty shootout. But whatever it is, I think Argentina will qualify for the semi-finals. Argentina created several successful opportunities, but so far they have not been able to score. Now waiting for the penalty shootout.
1480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: December 09, 2022, 09:40:30 PM
I think you are not reading all things clearly so talking like this Barcelona is trying their best for offloading De Jong, but he is not happy to leave this club with two things are happening first is he wants to settle errors, and secondly he is still in love with this club but right now Barcelona is having big issues with their Debit and just because of this they are trying to off load few players with high salaries and which have big value in market in last summer transfer window Manchester United was agreed about his all terms but sadly at the end player was not happy with Barcelona about his errors, so he can't reject this transfer now we have again three big clubs those are interested but sadly again Barcelona is having issues in his salary errors, so they are not going to solve this which are creating confuse with this he is not going to leave this club again.
Barcelona's internal problems, especially regarding salary, should not affect its performance in every match. Barcelona has so far been good at seeing success in several available competitions, be it Laliga, Europa League or Copa Del Rey. I don't think the club's financial problems will undermine all Barcelona's desire to do something big this season.

De Jong must be maintained by Barcelona until the end of the season. He is a good player for Barcelona, so I don't think Barcelona will sell his assets to Manchester United or to another team.
