2243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HEX]HEISENBERG HEX - OFFICIAL THREAD!![HEX] on: March 17, 2016, 11:38:38 AM
i had most of the coins back in 2014, since I bought a buttload when it was dying out. now I have none of it. If swisscex burned my coins, the price should be much higher, since theres over 3 billion of my hex that was lost

how many TiPS do you guys get if you mine with lets say 10 Sapphire R9 280x cards per day nowadays?
I am just curious now, since I used to mine it a couple of years back, now wondering if its worth setting the rigs back up

this useless azure hype is getting out of hand.
and what exaclty is stopping MS (a major software developer) to come up with their own coin/system instead of picking some open source newbie coin?

I was also thinking about this for a while, but I think mayor companies (Microsoft, Google, Amazon) don't want open sourced decentralised crypto projects because they can go lead a life of it's own, they can't be regulated. And potentially damage the brand name.

I think the big guys see the winds of change shifting direction.  If they don't jump on the bandwagon now, then they will become IBM in the age of Micro Computers.

Blockchain will kill major companies that are blinded by their own bureaucracy and inability to be flexible

If MS is smart, they are changing their mind and betting on opensource blockchain

just my opinion

yes, I agree with all that, but, my question is - what is stopping MS from making their own decentralized coin with needed features? They have more than enough resources for all this themselves internally

If I want to set up a node now for example.
will I get rewards already?

Stop talking about price. Let it be. If rise is coming, we'll enjoy it.
Don't need to spend time counting non exisiting (yet) profits.

Please answer my question from my last post at previous page. Thanks.

^ this.

exact clone of bluechip. which is dead. Even the logo is moderated only slightly from the previous one. Stay away from this.

You people still think this crapcoin still has a chance?  Wow, you're really stupid.  How many TB of disk space is needed now to even have a chance at mining a decent number of coins?
You, Sir, are very narrow minded if you think this way.
Your reputation also does not make any of your comments liable.

Also, where can I find the Whitepaper?

with my pool pool.burstcoin.de all miners until 50TB will be better paid, because my algo for counting the average is extrem fair for small miners, especially in the long run for over one week.

for lage miners 50-100tb i had everytime the best results with dev2 pool.

but if you got more than 100tb it is always the best to solo mine.

I am mining on your pool for quite some time now with just a measly 4tb or so.
Happy so far, but still if i check the explorer, I see that i would have gotten twice as much Burst had I solo mined...

could you shed some light on this?
http://burstcoin.biz/address/13637156792000962383
I had mined 4 blocks (22k burst) but got paid 13k total Smiley

Im still wrapping  my head around HDD mining, so please be patient Smiley

Sorry, but can anyone help me.

I can't change "Set reward recipient:".
I always get {"errorDescription":"Unknown account","errorCode":5}.

Thank you.

Which pool? You need to set it to a burst address, not a pool url. Burst address, like in my sig, (BURST-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX).

I'm using ninja pool.
I tried to put my passphrase of my wallet in "Set reward recipient: Passphrase:"
"Recipient:" BURST-7CPJ-BW8N-U4XF-CWW3U

and I got that error message.

I've had similar problems in the past. Try this.

Run the Run.bat file in the burst folder.
Wait for the burst cmd client to fully load "Burst server 1.2.3 Started successfully"
Open http://localhost:8125/ in your browser
Enter your wallet passphrase
Important:- Wait for blockchain to download see bottom right of browser (takes ages!)
Open http://localhost:8125/rewardassignment.html
Enter your details

The same shit.

Maybe I need to activate accound. I heard I need at least 1 coin at my wallet to activate it.

you didnt even read the freaking manual!

is there a torrified version of the pool code yet?

What is the TB amount one should consider solo mining with instead of pool mining?

It would be a great improvement just to know that OP is updated if one misses five pages of this thread. To avoid criticism of censorship, this thread could even be kept open, just make sure most of the discussion is in the new thread.

Another reason for doing this is that we have one of the most brilliant maindevs around, if not the most brilliant. It's simply bad division of labour to him also do all the updates that a monkey could do. Let him code.

thats a good idea. still have to sort out some things on burstcoin.biz and working on new layout. will update site step by step within next days and also add some useful information for burst newcomer

why has the site been handed to a newb account again?

ffs ppl...this is not how you do business...

I am quite certain that the site is in excellent hands and mind Wink smaxer wouldn't just leave a years work to someone he isn't familiar with

newb account is a newb account. means they dont want to show their real face. Means this shit is dodgy.
what other reasons would you have for a newb account? i dont get it....

I offered a server for free for this and managing of the website, but noone reached out to me Smiley
