That has got to be the worst of most of the stories I've heard of. So gravitate just slapped a sticker on the coin and sold it loaded.  I met Gravitate along with Zepher, LC and a few others at Coinfest '18 UK.... He didn't look thrilled to meet us, in fact he asked me while shaking his hand if I was going to smash my glass of beer over his head.  After assuring him I would not, Zepher then told him, "Nah, I know you're not a scammer, you're just fucking incompetent as fuck"... To which he agreed. (I should also note that while faking some major injury with crutches, almost wearing a disguise, and also keeping his last name off the EthBits (Scam) Presentation he coordinated, I was quite surprised he dared to show his face anywhere - I guess scams don't catch up to people in the EU like the USA.  |

Just use minerjones for escrow - ship the coin to him, then he ships to buyer, buyer receives and btc goes to you. There are many possible options, you are just thinking too much about the tax man right now. If you want to sell any coin here, you have to use escrow, otherwise just sell it on Ebay if you really want FIAT instead. |

Agreed, but you should not have to verify anyone's claim like that either way - It shouldn't be public info, I know I wouldn't my want any of my orders verified on this forum (Anon or not). |

There's a similar coin on ebay right now, it's got a higher serial number but was funded months earlier.
Ah, so this is actually a buyer funded coin. Thats why higher serials are funded earlier, and why this is funded from bittrex, got it.
All coins from smoothie are "Buyer funded" - You either have to load them yourself before he will send them to you, otherwise they get lasered with "Buyer-funded", which this coin is not. Also, I believe the serials were never done in any particular order, so that's why you will find higher or lower ones funded on different dates etc. |

Because smoothie sold these coins up until at least that date, possibly longer..... The buyer would have funded the coin, so whoever I bought it from, likely picked it up direct from smoothie. HTH |
