Sorry, I meant rainbow steel for this particular bar. Thanks!
1343  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] Crypto Valley Series TWO out now! on: January 07, 2021, 01:03:36 AM
Received mine in mail recently. Great work of art I must say.

I have a question and was hoping you could answer that. Is the private key under the hologram in mini format or is it in base58 format?

I couldn't find this information on your website and I don't wanna peel off the hologram to find that out Cheesy

Also wondering whether these are waterproof or not.

I've put a polymerbit note in a glass of water before and it didn't do anything to it. it's quite interesting.

As for one with a holo in water for any amout of time Huh No idea! Tongue

1348  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Raffle] BYOB Series 2 (unfunded) & 3 (factory funded-0.02009 BTC), #23 set!!! on: January 02, 2021, 04:54:39 AM
Ticket price lowered to 0.0015625 BTC!!! Multiply this by 16= 0.025 BTC total.  This is for 2 coins, 1 of which includes factory funding of 0.02009 BTC.

"Factory funding"? You mean you funded it from MJ before you got it? Huh

I have 2 full sets of all 3 of these graded, and all are unfunded by default. Roll Eyes

Maybe I'm nuts, but I honestly can't seeing anybody paying this much for unloaded coins. Maybe back in 2014 lol... IDK, good luck either way & Happy new year! Cheesy
1350  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.ag STOLE MY MONEY on: January 01, 2021, 04:15:40 PM
Yes I read through the TOS and that's what instigated my motion to withdraw from my balance. And they have stated in this forum previously: "In most cases related to banned region, players are allowed to receive the deposit back, at minimum." Based on what they've said, I think it's fair that I get my deposit, or what's left of my deposit back. My point of contention is that they are accusing me of something other than their restriction of playing from a banned region which is completely false.

Let's be clear here - You are not part of "Most cases".  Listen to what people are saying, they are correct, sorry.

1352  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.ag STOLE MY MONEY on: January 01, 2021, 03:40:00 AM
Betcoin.ag suspended my account and stole my deposit. I used a VPN (located in the US) to make my first ever betcoin account and made an initial deposit of 0.11 btc. After playing a bit and losing 0.03 btc, I decided to withdraw because I thought it was risky to continue playing as I was located in the U.S. But soon after I initiated my withdrawal, they suspended my account and won't return my 0.08 btc that I was trying to withdraw. They accuse me of multi accounting when that account was the only account I made. And even if I was, which i wasn't, there was a user who was caught multi accounting that got his deposit back - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5305187.0

Betcoin.ag please return my money, my username is shindj2. I didn't cheat or anything. I know playing from a banned region with the use of VPN is not allowed but you guys said on this forum page (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284557.0): "In most cases related to banned region, players are allowed to receive the deposit back, at minimum." I placed a few wagers and lost some of my deposit. All I ask is that you return my remaining 0.08 btc.

I guess there is always a possibility of someone else having had used that same VPN IP to gamble with as well, so I guess the sites usually win in cases like this...

Sorry for your loss, it's why I haven't gambled BTC from the USA in years. Not worth breaking the law and/or losing your precious BTC over anymore here, IMO... Roll Eyes

Sorry, but happy new year either way, hopefully the next is better for everyone in this world. Smiley

1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: December 31, 2020, 04:26:07 PM
We all know the benefits of Monero and expect better prospects in the future, but apparently the government is very serious about creating problems. Recently, the media mentioned that the analytical company CipherTrace was able to track Monero transactions and this tool was created by order of the US Department of Homeland Security. In addition, the very popular ShapeShift platform, which allowed exchanging cryptocurrencies anonymously in order to avoid legal problems, delisted Monero. The impression is that something is not good.

I found this very helpful and interesting, and no I don't work here or any bullshit hahaha

1356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: December 29, 2020, 02:23:11 PM
With out reading all the posts above i am wondering if XMR price movement is as tied to Bitcoin like Ethereum is ?
It has been doing well the last 3 months its good to see this coin is still strongly used - payment ; mining ; plenty nodes on the network etc...

Personally I tend to think it sticks more to USDT. I also think it is and has been way undervalued for quite some time.
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: December 28, 2020, 04:07:45 PM
Please try applying the ban list:

1. Download this file and place it in the same folder as `monerod` / `monero-wallet-gui`: https://gui.xmr.pm/files/block_tor.txt

2. Go to the `Settings` page -> `Node` tab.

3. Enter
Code:
--ban-list block_tor.txt
in `daemon startup flags` box.

4. Restart the GUI (and daemon).

Oh wow, thank you, I have been having this issue for a while now and I always just resort to the CLI since I was thinking it was just me. Will try this and update shortly, thanks as always dEBRUYNE! Smiley

Update - works like a charm, thanks so much again! Smiley

Hi owlcatz!

You are right there is a mistake. My list is wrong.

109 is right
109 https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1Gk5JiRV31XYUH5So1EmHs8T3A1B6gc9zP

181 is 1GAtjch2M7TninNJ8iTmqqznb9fieMYiJw
181 https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1GAtjch2M7TninNJ8iTmqqznb9fieMYiJw

Sorry owlcatz, I will double check and update the database in the next 24 hours. I will also put a pdf file with the list on the website...

Thank you for making me aware of the mistake.

No problem! Thank you for the quick resolution! Smiley

I just received the new 2.0's and I really really love the new holo and higher denomination. .001 is perfect IMO. Grin

On that note, thanks again and Happy Holidays Frank & everyone else! Grin

And ofc, just like our boy Ricky there, y'all stay safe! Cheesy
