2242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing BTC to FIAT. FIAT is dying every single day. on: May 04, 2023, 01:19:42 PM
Fiat may not die along as bitcoin is progressing, the mindset of people towards fiat is only depreciating continually because they are tired of using the same old and traditional means of centralization in their financial economy and they needs change, bitcoin in cryptocurrency is what everyone believed to be the best option to go for in other to stay safe because no other crypto can secure a decentralized network like tgat with bitcoin, not even fiat, everyone want to have control over his holdings and yet make profits, which bitcoin serves both an asset and a digital currency, in the near future to come, bitcoin could have increased more in adoption while more people would have loosed confidence in fiat the more in seeking for an alternative with bitcoin.
2243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Emerges Victorious on: May 04, 2023, 12:47:07 PM
If you're considering investing in Bitcoin, it's important to do your research and understand the risks involved. However, if you're willing to take the risk, Bitcoin has the potential to provide high returns on investment in the long run.

I must not deny it that this is the only aspect i see an advice on the whole thread than making repetition of what we all kow about bitcoin or what it aerves us on the decentralized network, anyone that invested on bitcoin has a very good chances of earning provided that they can hodl, set a timing, manage wealth, secure their bitcoin, and track the trends o bitcoin price by consistent speculation, bitcoin is not an asset to fear about loosing the money invested on it, or maybe that it may cease to exist or crash like other crypto projects, bitcoin has come to stay and it's serving it financial purpose for those that cease the advantage from partaking in the opportunity of financial freedom.
2244  Economy / Economics / Re: Wind Power Has A Profitability Problem on: May 04, 2023, 12:31:10 PM
People are still making the use of wind power supply but you can't compare the percentage of its output and utilization to that in hydroelectric power supply, solar and any other renewable means of power supply such bio gas organic power supply and many more, the capacity to which all these could provide us individuals is vert little compared to an industrial application which more demands for power, this makes it more common today that the best in use is with the hydroelectric power supply, wind power supply probably could be applicable in some certain levels on research purposes or where the demand in limited to high voltage supply.
2245  Economy / Economics / Re: Looking for online investment method for 50$ daily on: May 04, 2023, 12:14:29 PM
Looking for investment method for 50$ daily

Is there online investment that return 50$ daily

You don't even limit it to about $20 per day but upto fifty, this is very rare to get and don't get me wrong that i mean it's not possible, you can have it but consider the slerk in chases of getting one, the ones you will keep getting from online investment will be scam except for only few which you may hardly see one, i would have suggested that instead of investing on what will give you this daily income, why not go for delivering a service for organizations and get paid weekly instead of daily, another option is for you to learn how to trade, you could probably earn upto this each day or more.
2246  Economy / Economics / Re: 2023: What money lessons have you learned so far? on: May 04, 2023, 11:57:44 AM
2 Do not go about with large wads of money in your wallet or with you

If you wanted to hodl a big amount of money with you then let it be in your personal decentralized wallet, this will make it more secured and be less under the risk of an attack by any chance through hack or institutions authorization for seizure to your money as the challenges that comes with KYC and AML in using centralized exchanges, this also serve us a good advantage from using fiat cash whereby we move around with bulkiness of cash fiat and got physical attack, but the world now is in the digital era of cryptocurrency with bitcoin as a decentralized currency using blockchain technology.
2247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the transaction fee and mempool congestion increasing ? on: May 03, 2023, 01:53:00 PM
Since the past few days (probably a week), Im observing that the bitcoin transaction fee (for a tx to get confirmed and included in the next block) has increased to an unreasonable level and is not ready to come down.

Read about bitcoin ordinals, there have been several topics created already onnthis aspect and members have discussed on this same issue countless times, but i want to believe this is bot where the end is going to land, things will soon get better and back steady as before.

My tx used to get confirmed at 1sat/vB in the past months. I was just curious to know as to what has caused this sudden congestion in the mempool? I cant find a reason.

Maybe you noticed this late, it's quite few months now that you make any transaction in nothing less than 4 sat/vbyte, later it increases to about 9 to 11 sat/vbyte and to over 20 sat/vbyte the more the congestion the higher the fee rate.

proportion of holding USD and Bitcoin in comparison to their worth, the idea here is that when holding usd at hand, you can't escape the effect of inflation over the holdings with you because the economy is not controlled and the market exchange rate remain unpredictable but when you hodl bitcoin, you are the righful owner of the asset, you cannot be affected by inflation, you make decisions on the precise amount to sell a d know the amount the rate you're holding worth.
2249  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where should I start ? Bitcoin & Coding/programming on: May 03, 2023, 01:06:50 PM
I am interested in learning how to code, but for me it's a large topic.

Coding is one of the most demanding digital technology skills invoke and people where learning it fast today, it requires your time and mathematical or local expressions in solving complex equations and formulas, but i will advise you that you take a step at a time, begin your learning with bitcoin and later begin to give an additional learning in coding and by then, the two cab ve going on simultaneously without anyone affecting each other.
2250  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best time of day to send crypto from ledger to exchange? on: May 03, 2023, 12:04:03 PM
I have just gone to send some crypto from my ledger to Coinbase but have noticed the fees are almost 4 times more compared to when I last did this.

By now you should have been more used to the already ongoing bews with the bitcoin ordinals which is the main reason why the bitcoin transaction fee has increased, there's a way you can target this charges to be more lesser than expected if you can track the mempool to know when it's less busy, you can also adjust your transactions fee rate to the lowest priority if you're using a wallet that supports RBF function.

I last sent 0.005 BTC from my ledger to Coinbase and the fee was £1.52 - I have just gone to do this again and it is £6.20!

Try to check mempool.space to see the various categories of transaction fee priority and find the lowest range or wait the the depth is reduced.

Is it best to send on weekends or something or a certain time of day to avoid paying high fees?

Weekend transactions aren't that busy on mempool as they got confirmation very fast, that's another reason and advantage to take.

I believe your account may have the chances of getting unlocked back since the restriction placed was not  consequence of getting banned, but the hacker had to be completely denied having any means he could use to have access to the account, that is why it is very important to ensure that one uses his account to sign a message right from when one is a newbie on the forum before anything funny could happen to your account, OP you also have to be more security conscious by taking some measures to ensure the security of your account is achieved at maximum in case of next time.
2253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do with bitcoin? on: May 02, 2023, 01:50:18 PM
In my own case, if bitcoin went on a bullrun today, i will first divide the entire fund into two category, first one will go back on investment while the second one will be use to make investment on other days physical assets in other for me not to put all eggs on the same basket, this is the best way i see the use of an investment for ones posterity, i will invest and keep being an investors because there will always be a sure means that we can always rely on that the price of bitcoin will last and also increases in values with time.
Dividing your funds into two categories sounds reasonable, but what happens when the price of Bitcoin goes up so much that your first category investment barely covers your initial investment? Maybe diversifying earlier would have been a better move.

We will still result in this, that not all the investment we made will have thesame results at the same time, that's why it's called diversification as long as you're not risking out to loose the entire investment made, each onewe made has it own maturity time to yield for us good return, another sweetness in diversification is that you will still have the chance of making more earnings from one when the other isn't giving a green light, you will be left out with a choice which is the other investment you make.
2254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do with bitcoin? on: May 02, 2023, 12:48:20 PM
Hello guys!
Today I was thinking about Bitcoin and where it will finally go up. And I came to the conclusion that I don't really understand what is the right thing to do with Bitcoin after it will "go to the moon".

So I wanted to ask you all, what are you planing to do with bitcoin when it will go to 70k, 80k etc. Are you planing to sell it or you will keep holding it?
If you will sell it, at what price are you planning to do it?
If this bitcoin go to 70k to 80k I think the best decision is to sell it and invest it. My goal is to be financially stable so i can't spend it to useless things. It's important to invest something not to hold in your bank account or buying some useless things, you can't get rich with that mindset and also maybe 30% for the investment %20 for daily needs and the other is for future purposes

2255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The word "Coin" - A new meaning on: May 02, 2023, 12:18:42 PM
Nah, that's not the one.. Here is the correct full form of a COIN -

C - Currency
O - Of
I - Illusionary
N - Non-existence

Because most of the COIN(S) disappear into thin air after rugging you out. Smiley

"COIN" - Cryptographic Offgrid Interchange Notes. It's the currency of the offgrid digital nomads.

We will keep getting diffeerent meaning and interpretation on this same word, just as I've earlier said, anything written in block letters is most likely to be an abbreviation in which each single alphabet has its own means for what it stands for, in cryptocurrency, we don't often refer to a digital currency of any kind with the capital letters of "COIN" rather it's in small letters "coin" but the first letter which is "C" may be written in capital letters since it's the beginning of the word, it is also very important to always clarify the meaning of where the word coin is being applicable irrespective of the context.
2256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the status of Bitcoin in Tanzania? on: May 02, 2023, 11:58:30 AM
There's no particular legal action kicking against the use of bitcoin in Tanzania despite there's no much interest in them showing moves towards bitcoin adoption as a legal tender but one can perform any means of transaction with bitcoin, but in recent times they have shown more interest on their own CBDC than bitcoin because they felt it will solve part of the increasing desires for a digital network in cryptocurrency but that's an entirely different game as people's minds were on bitcoin adoption and not CBDC which is a not a crypto but digital fiat currency.
2257  Economy / Economics / Re: My predictions for next decades world economics on: May 01, 2023, 09:51:50 AM
This is your own personal prediction, but how realistic are they from becoming the actual fact of the happenings in the world financial economy system, everyone tend to always project their own personal feelings and apply them for the general opinion on the real state of the matters related to the economy and the world at large, we can not use such as the basis for the conclusion if other measures were left unattended to, anyone can bring in anything new from his own side of view but the current situation with the economy can be better if the government work in hand in making policies and taking effective measures to tackle the constraints from the root.
2258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: low-cost hardware wallet for less than 10 dollars on: May 01, 2023, 09:21:45 AM
In as much as I am looking to get a hardware wallet for myself at a cheaper rate, I should also exercise caution because doing so usually comes with a greater risk. As such, even if I bookmark this, I will probably wait for a review from one or two trustees, not any reviews online because they can probably be paid reviews, and detailed information regarding how secured the wallet is. Maybe by then I will have to order some more. Right now, it will really not be a good idea for someone with zero experience to grab hardware without a solid positive rating.

you need to research it first and look at the youtube video. i even watch the youtube video but it seems pretty hard to compile all the hardware into a working wallet.
i believe it's better to buy the cheapest trezor wallet which is around 70$ for you.

A cheap hardware wallet is something everyone wants, but it will be quite risky with products that are still quite new and have not been tested by the community. I already own a hardware wallet, so I'm not too concerned about this. But I also recommend everyone to buy a wallet with a good reputation in the market like Trezor, because its price is not too expensive compared to the bitcoin value we are holding. For new, unpopular wallets, do not rush to buy cheap, it will be very risky, wait for more reviews from the community of tech-savvy people.

Buying hardware wallet is not the challenge here as long as one can afford the little amount to secure one, but it also needs some security measures to be in place, if you're the type that's very poor in handling things, you'd better think twice before getting one, also don't buy any hardware wallet you're yet to get familiar with or those newly introduced without having those you rely on already using themselves, anyone can come out today and introduce something new, just as you wouldn't want to use anyhow bank to hodl your fiat.
2259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Crypto Cetaceans: How Whales Consume Bitcoin on: May 01, 2023, 09:01:05 AM
The point is Whales always win because they are the strong hands of the market, they use to grab each and every opportunity for the accumulation of Bitcoin.

I disagree with these, making profits with bitcoin is not by the quantity of your holdings, everyone has the same potential to make profits base on the level of the asset, neither do the whales the ones that set the market volatility to rise or fall, though their effect may be slightly felt but not the determinant

According the to report the recent market panic made whales more strong as the holders of Bitcoin from 100 Bitcoins to the 10K Bitcoins accumulated around 64K more Bitcoins.

This same whales make huge loseses in case you don't know, this is the risk in buying and selling, they don't make profits all the time.

-Go for DCA
-Set realistic profit goals
-Stay Informed of Events
-Use the technical indicators

Good indicators to always follow, they will help towards achieving best results when you're investing.
2260  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Your thoughts on crypto exhcnages. on: May 01, 2023, 08:42:31 AM
I think the best way is to use the exchange to buy crypto or like a P2P platform, but hold all crypto on the wallet, preferably a cold one.

Ofcourse yes and this is the best way to hodl your bitcoin with you and you will always receive same answer from anyone who is experienced in bitcoin, any asset you have with crypto exchanges isn't yours because you have no keys to them but the exchange do, they are in custody of your private keys, if you make use of a personal wallet like anyone in cold storage, then you're free from custody, how you maintain the security and safety to your personal wallet bow lies with you, but you can only use centralized exchanges for buying and selling but not for holding your assets for long.
