2241  Economy / Gambling / Re: This is why I love this forum...and we should make it more powerful on: January 03, 2022, 10:21:27 PM
The site's reputation is questionable if they only release the funds because you posted in this forum.

They should keep their TOS and implement it no matter what, but if it's not clear, they should satisfy the needs of the gamblers as this forum is huge and could affect their entire reputation. Congrats OP for your win, don't be tired of sharing your stories here as the community is very active to help.
Shady kind of behavior which or shouldnt really be tolerated because the community wont really be dumb on not to notice up things like these specially speaking with withdrawals and other related things.

This is the beauty of this forum on which you could really post up in regards with real experiences which the community whether they would act or not basing on what they had observed.
Once a platform do make out those kind of mistakes and hadnt been resolved yet then this would leave out bad impressions which would really totally affect their credibility or reputation.
2242  Economy / Economics / Re: To be financially well and healty you need to find fund manager on: January 03, 2022, 09:31:58 PM
No.

Getting a fund manager when you don't have a lot of assets under management is probably the single best way to make sure that you stay poor.

They tend to charge exorbitant fees that simply eat away at returns in the long run. Avoid like the plague.
Correct, when your capital is small the most important thing we have to do is to protect it at all costs, this means that we cannot afford to waste any money or it is going to be incredibly difficult to reach financial freedom with such a small capital, this is why it is a bad idea to pay for courses when you can learn the same information from a book and the Internet from a fraction of the price, and the same logic applies to money managers as their fees are simply too high for most people to afford.
Not all would really be having that kind of capability on having a big capital on their initial investment which means that most people would really be focusing on small ones which i couldnt blame them off on why they

do really end up with those odd decisions whether taking up some loan or some sort but i would say that we wont really be needing some  sort of financial manager since we could really make our own investment

decisions without relying with these things. All you do need is to make yourself learn and able to sustain yourself on this market on your own steps.
2243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What would you do in this situation? on: January 03, 2022, 08:33:56 PM
Why you not looking for a new job in your countries or you could become a freelancer? Coding is one of promising jobs now, even it's depends on your skills and what's software you mastered. You need to have stable income first to cover up your daily expense, trading doesn't guaranteed to earn... it's risky.

Just working to get monthly income and use the rest times to create a bots for trading, what do you think?
Nothing beats out when you do have a day job and its true that coding or programming skills is something advantageous compared into other courses specially now that technology does progress as years goes by

which it is really relevant for this specific kind of skill set for it to be on demand which i could say that it is really worth on finding a job first and make trading as a side income and its true that there would be no

guarantees that you could make profit with trading in constant or daily basis on which if you do rely on it  then it wont really be giving out assurance for you to sustain on.
2244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear is not Real. on: December 29, 2021, 07:30:43 PM
I do not understand what you mean by saying that fear is not real, of course fear can be real. Take a look at possible regulations that have come about in certain countries, like china for example, they threatened to ban bitcoin for a while and then they finally did. That fear of them doing so was and is very real.
Fear is real on literal yet its always been part of human nature on having this kind of condition of emotion which we do know that we are investing which means we do really value much out of our money which

it is normal to have those kind of reactions and speaking about fear into those banning then its normal but if you do trust up that Bitcoin community does have that strong support then you would at least
not really been affected that much as long you do have that trust and experience in the market then it is unlikely you would really be panicking because of these events.

Its unavoidable in general sense because emotion is always been part of us.
2245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 29, 2021, 06:26:50 PM
and try to be beaten by a non boxer? Im not belittling on him but i cant really just avoid on doing so. haha

People think that because Logan Paul is young he can beat the old Mike Tyson, well, they are wrong because even if Mike is already 55 years old, he still has the skills and is still capable to fight, in the first place, he wouldn't take this fight if he is not fit and ready at all. For sure, this will be an interesting fight in which the one keeps attacking while the other one keeps defending.
About that, we have different opinions about it. It's really coming to the point that we're thinking that the impossible can be possible and vice versa.
I'm not against what you guys have said but the majority is just looking at the picture as something such as scripted. But we don't know what's on the side of Mike since he's known and had a professional career on it. If this goes according to what we think that Mike would beat Logan, all of those speculations about it being scripted or staged would be gone.
For sure it would be surely for Mike to win this one because if it ends up on a draw or being lost then for sure lots of criticisms or a controversial one which it wont be surprising for the publics reaction on that condition.

We cant actually make out conclusions as always because results cant be known in first and its always in the end.Thing here is that idont believe that Mike would just make him lost on a non boxer.
Those scripts assumptions then it could be happening but its unlikely honestly.
2246  Economy / Economics / Re: Mortgage are most wrong financial decision you can make on: December 29, 2021, 05:24:14 PM
I wouldn't say buying is a bad decision always, but you definitely need to run the numbers, you might be better off renting in high costs of living areas.
I agree.

It's not always that we can conclude that buying or mortgaging is a bad decision. You don't know someone's financial status and situation until you know them personally.

What if mortgaging is way lighter than purchasing using the whole amount. Well, some people I know does that mortgage and makes money from it despite it's not allowed to do so until they pay in full.
Agree with this point! Mortgage isnt bad as long you do know that you could really able to pay those monthly dues that you would have and its true that there are people who do find it as the lightest way

on acquiring something via means of this method since they are not able to pay it on full or still have some priorities but still considering on getting mortgages.yes, this could really be a heavy burden for

a specific period of time but its still a good investment since those things or properties you could still sell off if you do decide on doing such thing.
I've been seeing discouraging quotes and messages on different social media about taking a mortgage and they're telling it's not an investment.

Well, as you're paying the mortgage it couldn't really be an investment at the moment because you're in debt. But once you pay it in full, you can do whatever you want with it, or basically, even you're still in the turn of paying it, you can have it rent since it's in your possession as long as there won't be any rule to be broken upon doing so.

A comfortable house to live in is an investment and they don't see that point.
I could say its still a form somewhat an investment specially if you are buying a house or properties just like on what stomachgrowls said which it is partly a reality because you could sell it on if you do able to pay it in full term but if not then it would be a total disaster because it would really be just ending up on their hands and the money you had put on would only such come to waste thats why it is really better to make sure
that you could pay up those mortgage before making one because it would really be a big headache if you didnt able to finish it off.

This is like having a  chain on your neck and once you dont able to make things right or in order then you would really suffer out the bad effects of it.
2247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me out on: December 29, 2021, 11:27:57 AM
What is the best crypto investment advice you can give someone who makes 600$ per month from other job? I'm presently in this situation and due to the unstable crypto market we in I don't know what to advice this person, even 2022 looks bearish to me, help me out
30% Savings
30% Expenses
10% insurance
20% Traditional investment like stocks and indices
10% Allocate  for crypto

If you dont like volatility then its better to play safe on buying bitcoin
even though its not an assurance but at least on the better side of things when you are in doubt.

2248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: December 28, 2021, 11:20:55 PM
~
This is what bothers me sometimes especially to those who had the misconception of the the word "hodling". They thought that "hodling" was all about just keeping the coin til their last breath.
I gotta be honest that it was my first thought into it, but it just doesn't make that sense to keep holding if your primary goal was to earn , right?
I sold some of my ETH to buy BTC when it was a bear market last year, but then I still started taking profits from it weekly. I know I am a long-term investor, but sometimes you need the money and those greens not because one celebrity in Twitter tells you to.
At the end of the day holding your assets for a long time expecting for the market to grow is not a new strategy at all, people have been doing this for a long time, however as you say holding is a means to an end and it should not be thought as an end on itself, holding forever and doing nothing with your bitcoin is simply not correct, holding your bitcoin and then selling some when you need it once the price has gone up in a significant fashion is OK and no one should regret it, even if the price ends up going higher after you sell.
Not a new strategy but rather the most common strategy that we do have today on where people do hold particular assets but to think off that it would be only just good for those significant and worthy coins that we do

have on this market and you cant just pick randomly or without any basis thats why you should really be wise on picking which one should gonna be hold and which one should be traded actively.
It all matters on how you do deal up with things.

it might not be simple but it could really be done imho.
2249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 28, 2021, 10:17:05 PM
I know about his fight with RJJ, but any of Mikes fights can be the last one. He can just say "it is enough for me" and completely retire. Or he can be envolved into a lethal accident. Everything can happen. So if I can, I would have visited this event not to see the fight, but to see him.

Anyway. I dont believe this is going to be an easy walk for Mike and he would not even got sweat in the fight against Logan Paul. I dont believe in "easy/destroy/injure/cripple/brutal knockout/etc" what people write here. I believe in hit and run and a draw in the end, at least in a split decision.
Grin
Every boxing fans believe Logan Paul taking on Mike Tyson is already just like him involved in a lethal accident but I believe a certain rule or contract will be set to prevent it from happening just like we see when fought Mayweather and it is clear that something is wrong with the fight because Floyd barely throws some punches.
Speaking of RJJ who's among those that feel the punches of Tyson lately. He predicted Jake Paul, his prediction was correct and he also said Logan Paul has Zero chance against Mike.
I still do not think that Logan would be "that" much disadvantaged. I mean surely Mike is one of the greatest boxers to ever lived, maybe the best, for me it is Ali but Mike is second. However, Mike is now 55 years old and that should be enough reason for him to be getting worse and worse. Logan on the other hand is 26 years old, that's peak physique for most men.

This is why I feel like there is a good case for Logan to not get wrecked. I know I will sound very crazy, but if Logan takes it seriously, trains properly just for this fight, get tactics specific to Mike, and gets a few lucky shots early on, there is a good chance he could even win this match. I know I sound very crazy, I know most people expect Mike to destroy Logan and that is probably what we will see, all I am saying is that Logan winning is not 0%, I would still give him a 10% chance.

Even if he do trains then that wouldnt be still enough yet this doesnt talks about peak performance or body physique because experience does counts and just like what others been saying off which is true.

He might be old but age 55 isnt really that on point that Mike couldnt really give off a good damn fight if he gets serious. Nothing beats out on those experience that had been built up for decades

and try to be beaten by a non boxer? Im not belittling on him but i cant really just avoid on doing so. haha
2250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump Says Crypto Is 'Very Dangerous' ... but ... on: December 28, 2021, 09:44:29 PM
Talking about Donald Trump or any other old rich man who got his money using the old and fiat financial system, they all believe the asset like bitcoin is worthless and got no value because it's not something that got its own value like gold, in short words they do not understand the technology and they should not they even like something like bitcoin when they got rich using the fiat money, so that's completely normal, however, some of them are spreading bad speaks against bitcoin but they are investing on it for themselves. On the other hand, Melania is his wife but she git her own personality and it's not surprising to see she got a different opinion regarding bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
Donald Trump has always been negative to bitcoin and crypto since he can't control it even when he was still in his power. And he never sees its worth and very high value because his focus was on accumulating huge amount of dollars, when in fact bitcoin has definitely a higher value than fiat.

However, with his wife's stand on NFT, if she will not be influenced with her own husband, then she will definitely succeed in the future. I just hope Donald Trump will be aware soon that NFT is part of blockchain.
Success isnt guaranteed for his wife even if he do deal with NFT because it all matters with the demand and if that one lacks of that then for sure his wife wont really making significant progress or improvement.

They do have their own decisions but we know that Wife's decision would always prevail or would be followed and as husbands then we cant do anything about it but to agree on what they've been dealing with.

Trump is never been positive with crypto or Bitcoin itself which we should not really put up any attention.
2251  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far can bitcoin price correction go? on: December 27, 2021, 11:34:26 PM
I think this year's price correction is over. bitcoin in price status holds until waiting for strong support for the start of the new year. The bear market is heating up and is filling up the strong material to be able to break through the new ATH in 2022.

What we are witnessing is another bounce, Bitcoin is moving giving those last week takers a very decent profits.

We can't conclude or there's no solid proof that this market momentum is now for good, and the bearish run is already finished, at any moment

in time this market can start back and experienced corrections.  Best to make a good use of the situation if you have spare money to play.

I'm not too convince that the bear market is over, it's just around the corner as bitcoin has not fully recovered yet, maybe if it will go back to $60k then I might believe that it's still bullish and it's going to make a new ATH next year, for now, it's still uncertain, market could go sideways at the moment.

I echo your sentiments, as much as we don't want a bear market, it's just around the corner. This pump to $51k doesn't look normal to me as it might just be giving us false signals about an incoming bear market next year.

So better be cautious specially going on the last week of December, I'm expecting still some spike in the price but it might be the last one that we are going to see as we might plunge into a bearish trend after that.
We dont like bear markets but we know that these conditions of the market is significantly needed for us to be able to buy cheaper coins and heck it wont be called a market if we would be only having one upward

movement which cant be possible thats why we shouldnt really let this thing to be ignored off and speaking of corrections then it could be dip as more as we do anticipate thats why you should

really always mindful about the risk because its always been there and you could do all possible methods which you could lessen out your loss and take up some opportunity to buy back.
2252  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 27, 2021, 10:45:53 PM
I don't think Rollbit is too enthusiastic about christmas celebrations this year they are more focused on internal events regarding newly launched projects
I'm sure they're very busy so they don't have much time for the christmas event. from what I heard they will also launch sports betting of course this needs more concentration.
Yes they don't have any big raffle or giveaway at this time but they are distributing through other ways like giving away rollbots, lottery tickets and RLB tokens to all the players and all the information could be found on their Twitter handle and I have seen they are continuously giving away to users through different ways but yes no big Christmas giveaway is available at this time but it's completely fine as you could claim other things also and benefit from it.
You do not have to name it "Christmas" promotion just because it is around those days. I am not saying that it would be a bad idea to call it a Christmas thing for marketing purposes but they do not have to if they do not want to. As long as they are doing giveaways and so forth then they will definitely be something decent and people would still join.

Marketing is very important, how you name it is definitely important as well and there is no denying that, if you have a big super bowl bet and name it "the American football famous day betting" instead of "big super bowl promotion!" then you are going to lose some customers for sure, not because it is bad naming that will make them leave, you just won't get it on google. So this is both good and bad, it is good because it will get customers for them, but it is not efficient for the money they are spending.
You are right and they cant just published out some names which is a bit off or not attractive at all because this is business even as simple as name making then it would really be still significant on platforms success

on hooking up players even though some people do say that it isnt that much important or should matter but they are actually wrong.Speaking of those holiday based names then it can be done though
but overall this would be a platforms overall decisions on making names and its none of our business on how they would done it.
2253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I sent cardano and didnt give the giveaway on: December 27, 2021, 10:16:22 PM
I used this site today: myada.net

i bought 1500 ada and dont receive yet. do you know when i get my ada?

Charles Hoskinson and Cardano believes that Ethereum will hit $15,000 by the end of 2021. To speed up the process of cryptocurrency mass adoption, we've decided to run a 100 000 000 ADA giveaway.

If you do tend to buy ADA then you could always stick out on best platforms out there and not on that shitty myada.net website which it cant really be accessed or down already as of this writing
which i do say that you had been scammed.

About those ETH beliefs then we are almost on the end days of this 2021 but turns out those predictions are out of this world.Dont make yourself get fooled
about these speculations yet it wouldnt really be that ideal on being impulsive on this one.
2254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worst exchange you experience for trading on: December 27, 2021, 09:52:07 PM
I have used a lot of exchanges like Binance KUcoin BYbit Pancakerswap but the worst one is p2pb2b. this is a very worst exchange for me because when I use it, I always got lost because of its chart.
Never even heard of that exchange and at first sight, I thought you are paying p2p trades haha Grin.

For me the worst one has to be yoshit because they are shit and list any coin plus the exchange is a well known scam and while I didn't got scammed, I never had an easy time trading there.

I think the best one has to be Binance given how picky and careful they are when adding new coins and while their support sucks, there aren't many problems I have had on this platform for over a year or two now.
Im much aware p2pb2b which i had sold some coins which are only listed on that platform. I dont have any problems or bad experiences though but i wont turn back on using it as my main one.

For overall on being shit they Yobit does have that which does have shit support and very shady acts which the community does aware about that specially those old users here on this forum.
Nothing beats out on being shady on this platform but still surprisingly it is still running until today.
2255  Economy / Gambling / Re: Self-exclusion/ban who to be blame on: December 26, 2021, 11:28:33 PM
Lots of users from this forum have come up with one complaint or the other on how their deposits were withheld by gambling sites after going on self-exclusions, but I confusion why should a user go ahead to make deposits or request for withdrawal after accounts are banned or are its part of the rules of gambling sites to allow for withdrawal from ban account.
In this situation who is to blame the gambling site or the player?

With thousands of players playing, the casino operators cannot keep up monitoring their players, if you are banned and make a deposit because of self-exclusion you are to be blamed for your misdeed, you can question the casino why you can log in when you are in self-exclusion but you should not make a deposit, we have one thread here who was on self-exclusion but manage to deposit and play and when he loses his bets he asks for a refund, which is not right.
I thought they are just the same person which did make out some complaints and try for some refund or getting back those funds or money that he lost and blame out that if the casino didnt accept those funds or something like that then he wont really be losing those and now he do take blame on them which is actually his own fault.

This one is something similar or totally same in terms of situation on which as a player and since you do know that you are self excluded then why the heck you would be making out some deposit?

Even if you do able to access your account but doesnt mean that you could make out some deposit. There might be some missed function but since you are aware and you had
requested it then its just right for you to completely stop.
2256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I recovered my wallet from 2014 and saw how close I was to being a millionaire on: December 26, 2021, 10:46:06 PM
looking at all these transactions really hurts me because I know the feeling of missing out on a great opportunity and this one was to make you to be a millionaire.

If only we can go back in time and buy a bag load of bitcoins and wait for the big one of 60000 dollars to come sell and buy again when the dip happens.
Nothing is assured in talks of future thats why missed out opportunities is very common thing and also we didnt even expect that we would really be reaching out this high and on that particular time in the past
then we are using our own coins for our own good.We might missed on saving it up on at least but we did really make use of that.

There's no point on making out regrets because it would really just make some those down feelings or anxiety just because you had missed it out but
its better to move on and proceed on things that you are engaging currently and dont commit the same mistakes
again.
2257  Economy / Economics / Re: Did you realize in real life how Bitcoin gave us financial freedom? on: December 26, 2021, 09:51:05 PM
I realized it when I opened my Bank App on several occasions and it gave errors "Down for maintenance" and some obscure errors when I urgently want to transfer money. Also in my country Banks close early because they do reconciliation at the end of the day. (So then all Banks are closed when we want to access our accounts)

So it is not just about Financial freedom, but more about financial convenience. You basically are your own Bank and you access your money when you want to ..and not when they are available to do so.  Wink
Financial freedom could be identified or classified in two things.

1. Financial convenience just like on what you had mentioned.
2. Financial freedom on the sense that you dont have problems in terms of fiat literally.

Therefore, we know on how beneficial it is if you do know on how to deal with it.
2258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: risk to reward the right balance? on: December 26, 2021, 08:47:02 PM
Crypto is known to be a volatile market and it's difficult to achieve good risk to reward ratios in such a volatile market.
I personally aim to get a 1:3 risk to reward ratio where if I am losing $10 then I set a profit target where I can earn $30 in the trade.
I change the strategy if I lose $30. This way you can keep trying different strategies until you start making profits.
Adjusting your parameters because you don't want to lose or you want to gain more is a factor that will take your account off. It is easy to achieve a risk reward ratio by setting our stop loss so that when there is volatility, we already know what we are going to lose and that is the only way we can achieve it.
Yeah, the role of stoploss order must be too crucial on balancing better risk-reward ratio. When you are able to cut your losses early and with the help of trailing stoploss, if you maximize your profits then obviously you will get  higher rewards against losing trades. For example, we need to cut losses at 5% or 10% but when we are sailing at market directions then we could try to cover maximum profits which may be even 100% hence if you face more number of losing trades will not bother you in any means.
Stoploss would only be just relevant when you are really making out active trades or day trading but if you are really going for long term then better not to make use of it.Speaking of balance then its a must thing to consider because this had been always the set up when it comes to risk reward ratio.

Always consider out on having balance in between your decisions because not all is really good at this and once you do gain up experience then you would really be finding
the right decisions on regards with your investment if you dont let yourself to be greedy.
2259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: December 26, 2021, 07:31:17 PM
Of course Butler would really a big fish and he would just simply deal off with postponement rather than replacement.

And he made the right decision because the belt of Casimero wasn't stripped anyway, and if he fought the replacement, he still has to fight Casimero again for the championship fight, it's gonna be a double effort on Butler and there's no assurance that he would win against the replacement.

Smart move by him, and the organization for not stripping the belt from the champion.

I would say that it is a good decision by the WBO of not stripping Casimero the belt because Casimero is a bigger name than Butler and the could generate money if ever there is a unification bout between Casimero and Inoue/Donaire as the hype is already there.

This time it is the turn of Casimero to put on the work and be at weight during fight time, hope the rumors of him not getting the weight is just fake news.

I believe that, the real reason why he didn't make to fight butler because he was sick, if he did not tell the truth, he would be penalized and his belt will be stripped but it didn't happen because his reason is valid and he was given a chance to make this fight happen. Casimero has a big dream to fight Inoue but there's a hindrance that he has to finish first and that is Butler. Donaire has done his job against his fellow Filipino boxer, it's time for Casimero to do his.
He should need to settle up things if he really wants to fight Inoue and its a good call that the fight is rather been postponed than his belt would be stripped out and its just normal for Butler to wait up

rather than on fighting a replacement and he knows that Casimero is a worthy one to beat up because he knows the belt is on there. Any boxer would really have the same mindset or common goal.

Now is that we do have that waiting game because after this fight if Casimero would able to beat up Butler then Inoue would be next in line.
2260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Satisfied what you gained with altcoins in 2021? on: December 25, 2021, 11:59:25 PM
Cryoto market was bullish from at beginning of this year and hit most of ATHs. still i can see, altcoins recovering themself and keep increasing. Almost each and every altcoins performed/performing well and it is expected that, everyone has made satisfactory gain in this year but there are also someone, whose's luck doesn’t flavour on those. Well so do you think, you are satisfied what you gained with your altcoins in 2021??
Not that much because i dont have almost altcoins in my port and mostly focused on top ranking ones.Gains or profits arent that much though but it is better rather than have nothing at all. So lets make more better move on upcoming year 2022 and lets see if we would really be lucky on finding some good or potential ones.

Satisfaction will really be depending on how long you've been holding for a coin and then getting gains in the end of the year.Im not really that type of investor that do usually wait for long
term or yearly basis.

Once i do make out some profits then i do directly sell or simply if i do see those opportunities then i dont really let it pass easily.
