Im guessing it will be tricky to pay in REST tokens since the value will probably be changing constantly. The contract will have to be pretty flexible.

I feel the need to bump this question. cos it's quite vital

Could be that the tokens are automatically converted in fiat at point of purchase. so the price is 100USD and you pay whatever amount of rest that adds up to that.
2263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Relest - first real estate rental AUCTION platform, September 18 on: September 09, 2017, 07:15:01 PM
Interesting project, as far as I can understand at the moment. Will have to check the whitepaper for more details.

But I am a bit curious about the bidding system and not to visit the place beside seeing pictures online. I mean, pictures can be old, for example like 5 years or so and could not show the current state of the apartment or house.

yeah but that's why they will have a rating system. if the pictures lie, the rating won't Wink
2264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 09, 2017, 07:12:30 PM
I have one question, could the playstation VR be used on PC and be compatible with your software ?
Probably yes, in white paper they mentioned that they will be partnering with Sony and other hardware companies. But don't quote me on that I could misunderstand them.

Partnering with Sony just means it will be adopted to Sony hardware, in this case the Playstation 4. This also got confirmed some posts before Smiley But for hardware support on PC of Sonys VR there must be a company or developer who write the needed drivers and there must be connectors, nothing what VIBEHub would do Smiley

Partnering with Sony doesn't mean that only Sony hw will be used. That would be suicidal. Game devs partner with nVidia all the time, that doesn't mean that the games don't work on ATI. It just means that it will be optimized for the product.
2265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Platform on: September 09, 2017, 07:07:55 PM
Can somebody from PayPie explain the concept of an "internal coin"? Otherwise these questions will continue to be repeated. There is little information about how that Pie Coin actually works.

Am not a paypie employee but my guess is an internal coin is a coin that can't be traded by the public, it's only usage in within the paypie platform. Only paypie employee have control of the coin and the aforementioned coin cannot be transferred out of the platform. My guess is with the SEC involvement, and issues it created this is a way to incentive PPP token holders without dealing with the wrath created from issuing dividends.

It is my belief that the PayPie coin CAN be traded by the public (on exchanges), but it is worthless outside of the PayPie system.

It means that paypie coin will only be able to be used inside the PayPai platform, you won't find any other uses for I, you could trade it in exchanges because is a speculative coin I guess, but nothing more, that is a good thing, meaning that if a company want more, they simply must buy it from exchanges or the system.

Well that's a point most coins for a direct use will have as long as they are not build to be universal. But that's also a good think that you explained, because it gives a natural demand for it, as in the other direction no other coin can be used here and value will probably rise with time passing.

Are you guys even reading the post before answering or are you just aimlessly typing away just to say something. We not talking about Paypie coin which can be use on the platform and also traded on an exchange, instead we are talking about Piecoin which is an internal coin only viable on the Paypie platform. Please stop been lazy and read the post before making a comment.
so if i understand well there are 2 different thing paypie coin tradable on exchanges and piecoin internal tool of the platform is this right?...

Correct.

It wouldn't make sense for the Paypie token to be pegged. it would turn off investors. it's good that they clarified that it was an internal coin that will be pegged.
2266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 09, 2017, 06:50:59 PM
Tickets market is soooo big, we haven't took into account yet amusement parks, natural parks, circus like cirque du soleil, big events like red bull events, motorsports events (these one are huge in Europe) just to name a few
In my opinion they meant mostly events like concerts/performances/exhibiotions, etc. Amusement parks or family parks like Disneyland are issuing tickets by themselfs so they won't benefit on partnership with EventChain

You don't know what the future will bring. Collaborations with other businesses can only increase the scope and profitability of EC
2267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 09, 2017, 06:26:52 PM
If paragon become huge company dose there is plans for activism or lobism? example help legalize cannabis in countrys where its illegal ? or educate sociaty? Cheesy it would be nice if companys do these kind of thinks it be helpfull for community and future profit for company to Smiley

One step at a time man. Let's get the project of the ground first and then worry about the future.
2268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 09, 2017, 01:14:17 PM
Yeah i think there is a misunderstanding, PRG token will be use to purchase marijuana and other stuff you need on the establishment created by team on different places where marijuana is legal, they are also planning to offer it to some country but the topic is too sensitive to tackle, because some other county are still against it.

The more uses it has, the better. it will also increase it's value on the exchanges for investors.
2269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 09, 2017, 01:12:56 PM
I think they can act as a exchange platform, they will trade ticket so maybe its possible to trade currencies too. If they put a fiat exchange on eventchain platform, the value will be incredible, that kind of features is gold. Especially when the project have great market base, like ticket market, where the volume is pretty big. I have great hope for the future of eventchain !

It wouldn't be the first time companies accepted crypto for their services. just use a conversion exchange like changelly and you're good to go.
2270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Platform on: September 09, 2017, 01:11:08 PM
What was your thinking process to choose ERC20 standard? Why not ERC223 on ETC chain for example which is more secure (https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/issues/223) ?

it's not just about safety , but mass adoption as well. not as many people use ERC223. and they need to appeal to as many people as possible
2271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 09, 2017, 01:08:10 PM
What will be your monetization source?
WIll you take any fee from creator or audience?

We go into how we will monetize in our whitepaper, we have 4 revenue streams. Taking a percentage of income generated from live streams, charging for our digital assets, VR advertisements and charging fees to other platforms who want to be on VibeHub

I hope the VR advertisement is optional and can be turned of for something like a higher fee. Where i think Vibehub has most potential is the educational sector and advertisement would kinda kill that Smiley

If you put unskippable ads in education sector then I must say it will hurt the stats. For entertainment and other sectors, it is ok to have them. Live streams should be the main attraction. Have you thought about asking WWE for this matter?? I heard they are working on something VR related.

There are options like youtubeRed, without adverts , on other platforms.I'm sure vibehub will have one as well. It's part of the course.
2272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Relest - first real estate rental AUCTION platform, September 18 on: September 09, 2017, 01:05:59 PM
Interesting project. you guys should team-up with Real. they buy the property and you guys rent it out.
2273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 09, 2017, 07:52:46 AM
I know you will have your own space in VibeHub but will it also be used as social media community?  Maybe it would be smart to also implement that into the platform. You can probably watch those 360 pictures with VR glasses and home made videos in the future.

I think that far off at this point. First things first, make the platform and ensure that it works properly. Everything else can be added later as vibehub grows.
2274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Platform on: September 09, 2017, 07:51:45 AM
well, now i think that this will rock even more Smiley

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-09-08/equifax-hack-exposes-peril-of-credit-bureau-model-quicktake-q-a

credit bureau equifax got hacked and just read the news, this is maybe the worst identity hack in the history. not only that they got names, social number, credit card accounts, they also got like everything possible on your credit life, trough the hack.

i dont want to think, how much work will be needed to correct this again, but with paypie it shouldnt be a problem Smiley

That's bad for customers and equifax.

But can be good for us. If companies that already in market have problems like this, our demand could be higher. We can benefit from it.

I agree, this is good for Paypie. it shows the world we need more decentralization , instead of a few companies that hold every bit of info about us.
2275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 09, 2017, 07:50:12 AM
What hard cap and soft cap? And how many tokens will be in total?

55 million EVC hard cap total.

this is one reason I like it. low cap ICO's are always the best. low supply = high price in the long run
2276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 09, 2017, 07:47:58 AM
I Think the Medical effects of cannabis nowadays are quite undisputed positively whereas there is a huge market potential for this kind of business.

there are medical uses for cannabis, it helps some people suffer thru chemotherapy. but I would advise for caution regarding the "miracle" properties of it.
2277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 08, 2017, 02:03:56 PM
Just had a thought... don't you think transactions in ParagonCoins will actually make it harder to get cannabis legalized? Since the tokens could be used to avoid taxes, the main driver of governments? Now you're fighting a battle on two fronts, legitimizing cannabis AND cryptocurrencies.

nah man, cannabis can be sold for whatever you want. people can try to use crypto to buy weed, but when you want to cash out you gotta go thru bank. that's when uncle SAM catches you.
2278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 08, 2017, 12:41:36 PM
You want to buy cheap tickets to cocert only? Or for other events and may be some kinds of transport (fly, bus etc) ?

You can create tickets for every kind of event you can imagine, you should try the alpha on the website.

Even if you make a BBQ at home and you need a participation from peoples invited, you can use the system to do so.

Hahahaha, welcome to Carl's bbq down the street, tickets are 5 bucks each, bring your own meat! I wonder if the system will be abused.

Paypie CMO Yohan Varella being interviewed at https://www.accountexusa.com/ by AccountingWEB, a leading community for tax and accounting professionals

Sweet, is there a live stream or will it be recorded and put on Youtube? Or at least a transcription of the interview?

yeah, can anyone give us a rundown on what was talked about?
2280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 08, 2017, 12:37:46 PM
so would it trade in Bittrex?
I wish we could trade it in bittrex
Vibe Hits Exchanges Oct 1 2017
Vibe coins go live on exchanges for trading.

Just wait for the information sir, less than 1 month

But what exchanges? They announсed anything about this?

I would say its better to concentrate on venture before trying for exchanges. We need to support the coin or a token for its purpose not for just trading. If the purpose is fulfilled then the price will automatically reach moon in the future. By seeing the support vibehub is getting, it will be added to big exchanges soon.
Now everyone is applying for bitrex, but the stock exchange now practically does not add anyone. Etherdelta  is also good.

I freakin' hate ether delta, with it's clunky interface. I still haven't figured out how to sell some of my other tokens there.I hope vibehub puts the tokens on sale on any other exchange.
