DRK also has a similar issue with stealing coins that was supposed to be fixed in RC3 with the hot/cold issue but that doesn't look like it going to be happening as you keep forking. It's the same reason you have a limit on transactions. Chaeplin also said that DRK is allot more subseptable to the issues XC HAD, not has, HAD, before rev 1.5. Since rev 1.5 noone has come even close to cracking the XC anon. DRK won't even be as anon as Pre Rev 1.5 XC was until RC4, if that ever happens. And by that time you'll already be another few months behind. Get your facts straight. Add the RPC data to your .conf file. This is basic with all coins what rpc data? this is why people want the guide to talk more about rpc data. where/what/how to get data because my concern if i even enter this rpc data correctly. hello rpc is data you create for yourself. it usually allows yourself to point and connect mining devices to your wallet and is required to run the -server flag. in this case just create a username and a strong password so no one else can access your wallet remotely and add it to your conf file. in the .conf file it looks like this among other strings: server=1 rpcuser=jasemoney rpcpassword=longpasswordigenerated good to know. so rpcuser/rpcpassword can be anything. this need to be written in xnode guide. |

If you have no staking after 4 weeks then you are doing something wrong. nah i never staking 4 weeks straight, just 1 week on and 1week off then moving coins around for flipping. i have done this over 4 weeks now and see no staking or xnode transaction. after 1 week i see nothing then I moving on. |

I don't believe you will see much movement leading up to the fork, at least not on heavy volume. Those who can really move DRK aren't going to be the kind to buy it up just prior to a hard fork that has been known about for awhile. They are the kind who are going to have adjusted their positions days or weeks prior based upon their risk-analysis.
Get your popcorn ready for after the fork as that is when the fun will really begin. Until then, give your eyes a rest.

Surely its just the case of updating the wallet and all will be fine no ? Last time around, forking occured due to numerous reason, the main being an obvious intentional exploit of the network, multiple DDoS attacks and dozens of bad actor Masternodes. So the network reversed back, and Masternode payments postponed for today. All the issues have been cleared. Should go smooth today. 99.99999% confidence. I'm not sure, but I *think* RC4 release will be a soft fork? Maybe RC5 is another hard fork? Not sure it sound Darkcoin going to have a few more forks? WOW! |
