Since you shared this post with me, I should mention that bithalo blackhalo and bitbay all have a decentralized market. Ive used the bithalo one before and worked pretty damn well! Its a shame more people don't use it. It actually has a really clever two party escrow system. So the escrow is decentralized too, which is probably better than arbiters on OB who probably have no way of knowing who is telling the truth.

Actually if im not mistaken him and Gekko got 200 btc additionally on that project. So they fudded their own project while pretending to be investors. Think again, Bob makes the coins with his disgusting team, they give themselves 100% or ICO then just sell on peoples heads. Thats not investing, its fucking lying. Even accounts that "troll" somehow follow them to every thread.

Pay attention to "barrabas" who really sucks bobs cock commenting on all his threads saying he "follows him". Bullshit, he uses that profile to spread false info.

He sets up the icos with Gekko, invites a dev like Paul from Bitswift for example the einsteinium coin, Bitstake, Cloak or Bitbay like in the example above
then he steals from the ico and trashs the forums with 1000s of comments.

After he finishes stealing from the coin, he shits on the price and blames the dev with troll accounts.

They pay people from their pump and dump group. They will selectively scam their own group too. They will rip off their own members who start to scream scam, but then pay other members (there is a core of 5 guys that are pretty tight with eachother).

Then he writes "the story of bobsurplus" and tries to glorify his theft.

He uses profiles to troll himself but he carefully avoids calling himself a theif from any of those accounts. So someone who says "Bob isnt a scammer hes a pumper but hes a total jerk"... is just lying. Its just Bob twisting peoples perception of him.

To make matters worse this utter piece of shit pays people on bitcointalk to talk nicely about him. It certainly makes things even worse that he found a guy like Gekko who is possibly worse than him.

This is a huge factor, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies basically needs more public PR. As Andreas M. Antonopoulos said, if bitcoin becomes mainstream, people aren't even going to know they are using it, because payment processors are going to use things like side chains and lighting networks and bitcoin as a back-end.

You shouldn't be investing in any new coins right now. The market is completely oversaturated. A "new coin" (we'll define it as less than 6 months old) has about a 1 in 100 shot of gaining any sort of adoption or meaningful popularity. You might think you have a leg up and can tell the crap from the gold but the odds are waaaay against you.

While I believe that self-moderated threads tend to devolve into fascist circle-jerks faster than non-moderated threads, it is not a 100% indicator of shitcoinage.

mainstream doesnt care about decentralization, they care more about the usecase.
