2261  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you tell me which one you will choose and why? on: March 12, 2023, 11:57:26 AM
This is something that exists in theory, but I'm really interested in how it would work in practice in the event that one of the big EU banks fails. Given that everything is more or less slow in the EU, I would not be surprised if the process is long-lasting and quite painful for all clients. Let's remember that banks are very quick when they need to take our money, and the opposite is true when they need to give it on any basis.

However, some would say better late than never, and I always remember the case of Ljubljanjska banka, which stretched for decades and many died without receiving their money.
Good example with the Ljubljanska Banka case. The European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg had to step in before those scums started paying out their pre-war clients. As they say in the Balkans, justice is slow but attainable! You will surely wait a long time, but eventually you will get it. If you are still alive. Even if not, there are usually heirs who will carry on the fight.

It was a really fucking period, and if I remember correctly, it wasn't just Ljubljanska that did such damage.

as far as I know, according to the regulation of the central bank, all other banks must have certain reserves so in a way they are not the only ones who wonder about clients' deposit funds. (of course, this is the case in less corrupt and organized countries).
I guess this is the kind of regulation that is missing in the sphere of crypto exchanges, where they have to offer some kind of guarantee on all funds entrusted to them.
2262  Economy / Lending / Re: I need a small loan for a short period on: March 12, 2023, 11:30:50 AM
So I thought for whom it’s not difficult to borrow a small amount for a short time, you have a percentage, I have a reputation

hello i am a newbie with no reputation. if it's not difficult, give out a small loan for 1-2 days. to gain reputation.

you are looking for a loan to build your reputation, in this way, you are only doing an even worse thing. You obviously didn't understand how the trust system works here.
I guess you didn't think that you would gain a reputation through a couple of small loans so that you could take a larger sum based on that.
2263  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: --WARNING--BlaBla Game (BLA) is a scam ICO! on: March 12, 2023, 11:20:07 AM
ICO has been dead for a long time. You didn't mention many things that are obvious features of scams, although everything you listed is typical of most projects called ICOs. Unfortunately, mostly everything is trash, it's probably not an exaggeration to call them a scam.

1. Providing false statistics:[/size]

the basic feature of every ICO is that they show fake statistics to boost the confidence of new potential investors. Nothing new and surprising.

Quote
2. Low activity in social media

this means absolutely nothing. If they don't have important news, they certainly don't have anything to share on social media.

Quote
3. There are no funds for Ads and Marketing:

hardly any ICO enters with the initial capital for promotion, mostly it is paid for with its own tokens, for which it is not known whether they will have any value at all. It's all up to bounty hunters who accept such conditions and are satisfied with payment in worthless tokens.

Quote
4. Lying about the users, players, and achievements:

isn't every similar project a lie? Increasing strength and potential, or spreading the FUD. exactly the same as when you read that some random bounty Twitter account writes "good project". does anyone believe in such a thing?

Quote
5. Fake team and abuse of people’s names and photos:

Honestly, of everything you listed, this is the closest proof of a scam. If those behind this were not able to change the template they found on the internet, speaks volumes about commitment. although my personal opinion is that this is a one-man show, and he will probably be satisfied with whatever amount he collects. in the end, all this costs him only as much as he paid for domain registration and hosting.

Locking this topic.  Grin

Edit: if I knew how to. In any case, don’t need the loan anymore

it's easy, and it would be good for the prevention of potential spam.
at the bottom of the page, on the left side, you have a "lock topic" option.

2266  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin- Beginners fear for exploration on: March 09, 2023, 03:31:07 PM
I have a friend who speaks so much about how good he's life has become ever since he explored the world of BTC and other crypto currency. I also have the desire to get the benefits of Bitcoin and other crypto currency. but as a newbie, I still have this fear that I may not be able to withstand the risk involved. Can anyone advice me on this?

if he is your good friend, why didn't he share his experience with you and guide you in more detail? I have met various braggarts, I hope he is not like that.

there are many possibilities in the bitcoin/crypto world and it is very complicated for anyone to list the full potential. It is certainly the best advice to learn about everything before taking any steps.
Also, if you got interested only because of the possibility of getting rich and living comfortably, I'm afraid you will be disappointed. Several factors are needed for that.
2267  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I succeed as newbie. on: March 09, 2023, 03:19:39 PM
As a newbie in crypto what are the things to do and not to do that will make me attain to the level of being confident and reliable on the decision I make.
Don't really know where to start but hopefully I will with your help.

it would be best if you did not trust unknown people on the internet. you can ask for advice here or anywhere, but your money is at stake, so always think carefully about what you are doing.

When you say, you are a newbie, what exactly do you mean? Two years ago you also asked for advice on investing in Bitcoin, what happened?
Why are you still a beginner even after 2 years?

Hi everyone, I want to learn about Bitcoin and investing. I need help on how to go about investing in Bitcoin which I don't know if I can take the risk. I have $3k which I want to keep in the bank but I'm thinking of investing it into Bitcoin. If I purchase Bitcoin now, is their any way I can profit from it from now till next year May? I am planning of using the money next year for business.

Should I take the risk of investing in Bitcoin now or better still put it in the bank?
Will I lose my money if I invest now?

Hi guys,

as part of my review I also tried the function to convert CRP and UUSD into vouchers. That works very smoothly and I want to share those two vouchers here and whoever redeems them, redeems them! Wink Both are just under 2 USD in total.

USD-DHFN-MGBK-UYQT-5OZ3-P7LT

you wrote something wrong here, not sure if vouchers can start with USD. The code could not be recognized in such a format and after I changed USD to UTP it was recognized and I successfully claimed it. 1.22 UUSD

@joeperry, what do you think about changing the subjects of the two Utopia campaigns, it seems a bit confusing as if you are running the same two review campaigns. And as far as I can see, one is a signature campaign.

why don't you want to take advice from here?
you fell into the trap of a very well-known scam scheme, someone promises you a huge profit and you are ready to risk other people's money to verify the truth. provided that what you write here is what you really mean.

Can you tell us here, which pair did you trade and which made you such a big profit? experienced traders of many years cannot make 100k in such a short period of time, especially not during a bear market.

I'm not sure what the minimum is for something to be considered plagiarism, but 73% plagiarized content to make a useless post (probably hunting for merit) seems like a bad decision.

Topic: Mining and outlet of cryptocurrency a thread to the natural domain

Since mid-2020, when we see a renewed increase in the popularity of cryptocurrencies as a source of easy profit, avoiding transaction costs and escaping from fiat money inflation, the energy costs associated with "mining" Bitcoin were revealed in the media. Energy experts began to carefully assess the functioning of the cryptocurrency market in terms of electricity consumption in relation to the amount of electricity consumed by the economy. It turned out that bitcoin mining costs annually at least as much electricity as a medium-sized country like Finland consumes. If Bitcoin were a country, it would rank in the top 30 worldwide for energy use. I enclose the research results in charts and links to the publication. Meanwhile, in 2021 we are witnessing the emergence of an energy crisis all over the world and an incredible increase in the prices of natural gas and crude oil as a result of climate disturbances, disruptions in the supply chain and broken cooperative ties between international companies.
Question (1) Therefore, what are the prospects for such a phenomenon as cryptocurrencies or other energy-intensive technologies, the use of which is completely against the policy of reducing greenhouse gases and switching to renewable energy on a global scale?
Question (2) Is the true thesis that the growth rate of the BTC market price to USD is comparable to the growth rate of electricity consumption by cryptocurrency miners?

Cheers
Pizzy

most of the text comes from several articles from researchgate.net

https://www.researchgate.net/post/Is_mining_and_trading_of_cryptocurrencies_a_threat_to_the_natural_environment_and_will_lead_to_an_energy_crash_in_the_global_economy

edit: continues in the same direction

post:

The nature of cryptocurrency mining requires electricity, and often a significant amount. Accessing cheaper electricity is one of the most effective ways to reduce the cost of virtual mining. As we are coming from the perspective of power generation technology, the simple assumption that crypto mining requires electricity tells us that the cheaper electricity we can provide, the cheaper we can make mining for our customers.
I think you focused on the specific power needs of virtual mining

The way I see it, if members have the right to create appeal threads, the least they could get is an answer, especially if they are not brand new accounts.
Maybe nobody wants to say "no" on behalf of everyone, and nobody wants to say "yes" either. An official negative reply would close the door for any other Mod or Admin to unban the account.

too many "maybes" for such a banal matter, something that only one moderator can solve in a minute. assumptions and guesses are not the best final solution.
2273  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [FREE] One 100% Original Premium/Paid Wordpress Plugin or Theme for each user on: March 08, 2023, 11:52:28 AM
For the Free Version you mean? I have not decided yet. If you ask for an update I will give you but the free version is not automatic.

The paid version is 99% Automatic. If the Developers allow API and automatic then yes. If not then we have to manually update it.

Since we have signed up for all their newsletters/changelogs we know when updates happen and usually update in an hour or definitely the same day (even weekends)

So, I would still have to get the files from you (not automatically from the vendors) in order to do the update?
I'm talking about some solid popular WP themes which are regularly updated, with various changes that are happening an update is highly desirable. in this whole business, having an intermediary is just an additional waste of time.

I think you should add Taproot to your Bitcoin transaction size calculator.
Now you have it for Legacy, Native Segwit and Nested Segwit.
..

I guess you missed the point of this thread. It's about advertisement on OP's website, not about a potential upgrade or adding new stuff there.
If you have suggestions about improving his website, probably is better to go on their ANN thread and explain there.

I was replying but i want to reply multiple person can anyone tell me how to quote multiple people or posts like this👇

always quote only the person you are addressing and to whom you answer. if you want to give a reply to more users, then quote one by one and in between give the reply you planned.
there are cases, but very rarely, when this kind of practice is acceptable, such as making a reference by multi-quoting.
2277  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need help - How to do signeture camping .. on: March 07, 2023, 02:31:15 PM
The first thing you should set yourself as a task is to learn at least some basics of the English language. Use plugins like Grammarly, they are free and will be of great help to the other members to understand you better.

About signature campaigns. You are not obliged to participate in the signature campaign. You can visit, read, and write on the forum, although you don't have any signature on your account.
there are also campaigns where you can get some financial compensation if you wear signature ads of a certain company, but for now, you are still far from that. mostly because you are just starting rank, and there are very few (or no) campaigns that accept Jr. Member or even Member rank participants.

most campaigns are looking for higher-ranked members, and it is desirable that at least some quality of writing is maintained here. which brings us back to the beginning of my post that you should still pay more attention to your writing.
2278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ERC20 Watch Only Address ? on: March 07, 2023, 11:54:17 AM
Can the whole thing also be done for USDC / USDT?
Are there also reputable and secure desktop wallets for USDC / USDT that can be set up as a watch only address and can be signed on the PC where there is no internet connection?

I'm a little confused and it's not exactly clear to me what exactly you want to get. how do you even think that you can get precise information about funds at an address without an internet connection?
you don't need a specific wallet to be able to watch an address, but if you want to see all the changes, you can't get that offline. For example, if you think about ERC20, it is enough to register on etherscan.io and enter the address or several addresses you want to track. from there you will receive a report on every change via email or telegram.

There are also very good Telegram bots that will monitor changes in addresses and make it easier for you to follow them, regardless of the type of wallet or whether they are your addresses at all.

Hi,

These products were just test products to see if vendor part worked. They weren't meant to be real.

Shouldn't you first fill out the actual offer, and only then do the promotion and possibly ask for feedback about your shop?

you also need to correct certain omissions, for example, different currencies depending on the product. sometimes the price is expressed in USD, sometimes in Rp. you really have a lot to fix before you come out with a request for suggestions.
2280  Other / Off-topic / Re: weekly loans on: March 07, 2023, 10:14:25 AM
there are people here asking for a loan every week   why is that? mnightwaffle

I'm not sure what exactly you don't understand here. you as a default lending troll, who make half of your useless posts in the lending section, ask questions about what others are doing here. I'm pretty sure that you don't even know that there are other parts of this forum, you're only interested in the lending section because you somehow thought that free money is being distributed here.
You've already been told countless times that you won't get a loan here, and anyone with at least a little bit of personal integrity would give up asking for money here after that.
