ALTCOINS ARE GOING NOWHERE TILL BTC MOVES...

Some may. It depends how useful they are. But yes you are right we will not see all alts x100 with Bitcoin under $20k. There can happen something that call for fungibility or opaque ledger and Monero togetehr with all opaque ledger cryptocurrencies will make a leg up.  Or can happen what happened with Ethereum when ICO boom happened in 2017.
2262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ELECTRONEUM IS WAKING UP on: October 24, 2019, 05:21:36 PM
I cannot understand why ETN isn't on any of the big exchanges?

CEO not pushing for it either!

Exchanges are not listing illegal securities. Serious exchanges will also delist them. You mentioned CEO. Having CEO is clear sign of a security.
2263  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin freelancing is dead? on: October 24, 2019, 04:55:46 PM
I'm a person who would like to do some work for Bitcoin, so I monitor freelancing sites occasionally, and at this time I feel like the freelance market in Bitcoin is nearly dead. The Services board is 99% listings of services rather than people who are looking to buy some; XBTfreelancer is empty or has 1-2 projects most of the time; cryptogrind has mostly just ridiculously underpaid projects or again service announcements (shouldn't they be banned there?), and there's also not much available projects overall; workingforbitcoins has very little traffic, just a few projects per month.

It was theorized that Bitcoin will help alleviate poverty by allowing people to work online without any restrictions, but on practice this just isn't happening. In your opinion, what is the reason for this?

It is sort of strange since we are at the point of economic cycle where employment should be maxed and there would be huge demand for workers. It makes no sense no one want Bitcoin freelance workers. Something is wrong. Maybe we are in a fake economic growth. Maybe it is just a bubble and there is no real economic growth behind it.
2264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AEON] Aeon Speculation on: October 24, 2019, 03:29:48 PM
At current price the monthly emission of AEON is equal to ~1.3 BTC. ~15 BTC annual.

Are you sure?  Considering this sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13AjSZJcYd5UoMCBRj3-9XliUhPUkagEjF_NzXsDmLgQ/edit#gid=0

At 15.831.459 AEON supply we should have 3589 AEON mined daily. That is 0.09 btc or 2.7 btc a month.  Yearly emission inflation is 8.27%

Is that spreadsheet inaccurate?
2265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quantum supremacy. Is your trade (coins) Quantum resistant? on: October 24, 2019, 03:02:56 PM
Quantum supremacy. Is your trade (coins) Quantum resistant?

All or most are. Current quantum computers cant break 20-30 years old encryption. It will take many years to break today's encryption.
2266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going down...now at $7,654.85 on: October 24, 2019, 02:36:52 PM
So, who is the culprit this time?

Grayscale.  They made huge campaign for people to drop gold. Since Bitcoin is digital gold, people started dropping Bitcoin.
2267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 24, 2019, 01:44:35 PM
^  Lol.  Didn't think there was a way to make XMR's chart look any better.  I was wrong.  The power of denial is strong with this one.  Grin

It plays on past events. I see many similar charts that predict 2017 will repeat again. Some even predict it next year instead in 2021. But yes, Monero was best top100 performer in 2016, since before that had high emission. So even if cycle will repeat we should not expect it to be as strong as 2016 and 2017 were.   But the chart is legit. Nothing different then million charts on this forum.
2268  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 23, 2019, 02:48:27 PM

OK so people can stop panicking & cuckolding, selling all their coins. The Grayscale news was positive, stop dumping & BTFD.

People were brainwashed Bitcoin is new Gold. So when Grayscale investments told them to drop Gold they drop Bitcoin.
2269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin cross $50,000 by Dec 2020? on: October 23, 2019, 03:50:49 AM
With so many good altcoins around, do you think Bitcoin can cross $50k by Dec 2020?

It definitely can. But will it? No one knows that. I would give like 20% chance that it will. By Dec 2021 that chance is way higher.
2270  Economy / Economics / Re: Credit organizations and privacy policy on: October 22, 2019, 07:38:02 PM
I found in privacy policy of one particular exchange that it transfers data about me to credit organizations. Actually the same is true for banks.
In what cases do they do this thing? If I make big enough trade volume at exchange, say $50,000 for year, is this information transferred as well? I suppose it happens only if you do margin trading or something... don't know much about it, except that you take loans from brokers...

Yeah I realize $50k is not big for you

If you agree with their rules then they just do what they want with your information's. They for sure have all written down so you cant do anything about it.
2271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 22, 2019, 07:12:00 PM
Some long term hopium from reddit. I dont think it can go better then this Smiley

2272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE reaches 30sats! Do you think it could go higher now? on: October 21, 2019, 07:05:03 PM
Following its listing on BitMax, DOGE has reached the 30sats mark. Do you think it's the beginning of a bull run or it will go down now?
In past you wee to buy DOGE when under or close to 30 sat and sell when close to 100 sat. Maybe things changed maybe all is as it always was.
2273  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: "Maybe Is a Partial Store of Value" on: October 21, 2019, 06:15:21 PM
He also told Tone Vays he is holding and supporting shitcoin. I listened this video yesterday. Let me find it for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WORkYsg2I4
2274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] What anonymous coin will succed? on: October 21, 2019, 04:36:17 PM
It is funny you darkcoin or DASH have 208 votes or 25% of all, while things like this happens: https://old.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/dl0egn/blockchain_analytics_company_scorechain_now/

This only shows how much lies their team were feeding us over last 5 years. And they still do.
2275  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: October 21, 2019, 04:15:48 PM
In other words, this cleanness is definitely at someone else's expense, whether we like or not. And while we are at it, Europe is the most suicidal region in the whole world (with Scandinavian countries closer to the top of the list). So much for "happiness" (perhaps, they feel guilty, or something)

Suicidal goes by how dangerous life is. In countries where is war or lot of criminal and poverty no one will suicide. Because they see dying and what comes with that all the time. In countries with high living standards there is tones of suicides, because people simply dont cherish the life.
2276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this right time to invest in Bit Coins on: October 21, 2019, 03:46:55 PM
Is this right time to invest in Bitcoins

Answer is pretty simple.  Bitcoin price have little chances to go under $6000. We are now at $8000, so like 30% above that. You can gamble and try to get lower price sub $7000. But what if price never go that low? Will you just forget about Bitcoin then? Not care that one day will be worth a million?

Best to buy Bitcoin is every month a bit. Buy $100 a month ( I dont know your income. So you buy as much as you can normally afford). Do this for few years and then see what you did.
2277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling top at $16500 (Even Newer!: $2483 bottom 19 Feb 2021 MtGox said so!) on: October 20, 2019, 08:47:05 PM
2020 is going to be hell for the average BTCer that doesn't know what a real "crypto winter" feels like. The confusion and anger, the sense of betrayal.

Predicting bear winter through the 2020 halving, a gutsy move! I usually like taking contrarian positions but it's too early for me to take that bet.

My thinking is the market is near a major decision point. Either we've entered a new bull market and are now finding support in a higher trading range, or this is the slow bleed at the start of another bear market.

Crypto winter will soon finish, but that dont mean any serious bull run will start. We survived this winter at unreasonable high Bitcoin prices.  Bitcoin price at last halving was 1/2 of previous ATH. In halving before 1/3 of previous ATH. So transplanting those prices to upcoming halving that will happen in 7 months price should be from $7-10k. That is what is now. And lower then previous months. So please dont be to optimistic. Same as to pessimistic, but winter is over!

Cryptocurrencies Pose Risks to Banks, Warns Basel Committee

Cryptocurencies pose highest risk to central banks. Risk to banks is small. Risk to central banks is fatal.
2279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ton has big problems? on: October 20, 2019, 06:59:59 PM
I think that SEC will not ban Telegram Network, but they will be fined, just as it happened with EOS cryptocurrency.
If this happens, then it will show how stupid TON team is that they have not considered this problem.  Lips sealed

It is different because EOS ICO happened already, TON not yet. So there is no fine to pay since they did nothing wrong yet. They just need follow the SEC rules when doing the ICO.
2280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: October 20, 2019, 05:38:35 PM
@Febo. Half of that if on $0.50 hehe. Also, I speculate that Grin's pump on the next bitcoin all time highs might not be as strong as some of the coins, for example Aeon.

Grin might be a slow and stable accumulation of value, I reckon.

Well holding always pays off at the end. But thing is that no mater how bad emission looks now there is actually high chance to profit in short 2 years.  I personally dont buy to sell. I buy to spend.  And I dont plan to spend much in next 10 years. So this two years dont matter that much to me personally. But It was just something that crossed my mind yesterday.
