1321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tron (TRX) Discussion on: May 25, 2020, 03:59:57 PM
Yesterday, Justin Sun tweeted "TRON 4.0 is coming? He wants to compare with ETH 2.0
What do you think?

I think that Tron 10.0 will happen before Etehreum 2.0.  Ethereum 2.0 is promised for like 4 years. Maybe more. They simply dont deliver on their promises.
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zcash users need to read this and stop carelessly transferring your coins. on: May 25, 2020, 01:13:29 PM
Guess what, Zcash aka ZEC users come to Zcash not by its top notch privacy features or whatever. Sure that's a good attraction point but like many cryptocurrencies at right now, people come to invest and make a profit. Maybe they just want to keep track of their transaction too so who know.

Yup. 99% of crypocurrency users are using it to make profit by buying and selling. For them privacy is totally irrelevant. In many cases they keep their coins on an exchange anyway. So totally unrelated to the blockhain and its technology.

The very moment then more people will start USING cryptocurrencies, most of transparent ledger cryptocurrencies will be totally forgotten. When you use coins you dont want anyone that you dealt with can snoop all your transactions.
1323  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World of warcraft is Satoshi Nakamoto. on: May 25, 2020, 12:36:23 PM
World of warcraft is Satoshi Nakamoto.

World of warcraft gold is not decentralised or permissionless. You should learn about pre history of Bitcoin. There were many tries to make something like Bitcoin, but it failed at some point. What Satoshi did was to incorporate best technologies from all previous fails. And it worked.
1324  Economy / Speculation / Re: Double bottom @ 3.1k or lower low @ 2k? on: May 25, 2020, 12:12:49 PM
What is the most likely scenario, and why?

Most likely Bitcoin will hover between $6000 and $10000. If a double bottom has to happen because of all uncertainties about covid-19 recession then will happen at $4100. When? Probably at autumn this year. Maybe early winter.
1325  Economy / Economics / Re: What would a Crypto-only economy look like? on: May 25, 2020, 11:22:20 AM
Economy will simply flourish. GDP will grow a lot. Countries that will regulate crypto to much will not see this GDP growth and cry latter.
Oh wow, care to elaborate this opinion?
How crypto will positively affect GDP growth?

Most people on the world have no access to banks. and this banks will be automated. Those that have they get paid weeks or months after deal is done. With Bitcoin you can use your coins the same hour. All digital asset will get tokenised to prevent piracy. Much more that I could not think of.
1326  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Put behind Covid-19, Vietnam held a 10,000 audience-football match. on: May 24, 2020, 03:27:57 PM
Put behind Covid-19, Vietnam held a 10,000 audience-football match.

They simply tackled covid-19 well. They were first to close borders. They are bordering China. I believe they had no dead from covid-19. There was one English pilot in their hospital with 10% lungs left working and they said unless they will find a donor he will die.

A lot of countries now have very little or close to none covid-19 infected. Some countries did poor job and will struggle with covid-19 for the most of 2020.
1327  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: May 24, 2020, 01:45:24 PM
I never really understood the attention slots games get, I think they are cool and all but if you seen one you have seen all, I don't get adding 35 new slots to a casino. I mean its all basically just clicking, some stuff turning and seeing if you got a streak or not and so forth, basically all looks similar to me.

Well, you need to play more often. When you play you simply change slots when you fell so. I mean everyone have his own strategy that not even have much sense to everyone else. Someone change slot as soon as he get a big win. Others avoid slots where they never win anything big. Having a plentiful of slots in the casino is the only sane decision casino owner can make.

1329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Fate of Privacy Coins on: May 24, 2020, 12:37:28 PM
(consider the case of Huobi Exchange which de-listed Monero a while ago)

Huobi exchange did not delisted Monero. https://www.huobi.com/en-us/exchange/xmr_usdt/  Huobi Korea did.

The fate of transparent ledger cryptocurrencies is such: https://bitrankverified.com/home  Give it a try to see how your wallet ranks.

BitRank Verified®, a scoring mechanism for digital currencies.
Individuals want to be able to have a level of confidence that the bitcoin addresses with which they are sending or receiving coins have not been use by a criminal element before a transaction takes place and this is what BitRank® offers.
1330  Economy / Economics / Re: What would a Crypto-only economy look like? on: May 24, 2020, 11:16:01 AM
Imagine a world where businesses, merchants, and everyday people use crypto as the only medium of exchange. Everything will operate autonomously and decentralized without the need for third parties. In this world, governments and big corporations might cease to exist as everything will be guided by both Blockchain technology and AI. People will be able to gain autonomy over their own money, reducing corruption and fraud in every way possible. Negative events in the mainstream world will have little to no effect on the world's economy, as it lives in cyberspace. No one will be able to control people's actions worldwide, as it'll be a "free for all" scenario. Central banks will no longer be relevant, as people will become their own bank via the use of various interconnected Blockchain networks.

Economy will simply flourish. GDP will grow a lot. Countries that will regulate crypto to much will not see this GDP growth and cry latter.
1331  Economy / Speculation / Re: A shorting paradise: next target is 5.5k on: May 23, 2020, 11:52:56 AM
You are predicting an almost identical massive sell off similar to the COVID-19 scare panic dump? It will take some serious FUD for BTC to continue to drop lower than 8k.

The economy is reopening, and the bulls will be back soon.

If China and Europe and USA get second wave then anything is possible. Yes we have thicker skin now but we are out of reserves. Q1 GDP drop was massive. I dont understand how Q2 projections are so good since Europe and USA will be way more drastically hit in Q2 then in Q1.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NANO] Zero fee + Speed the useful cryptocurrency for the real world on: May 23, 2020, 11:16:23 AM
1- NANO no longer has inflation, all its currencies are already distributed around the world. total of 133,248,290.
2- NANO has instant transactions, that means you can send your coins to the other side of the world in seconds
NANO 7 000 transactions per second.
3- the fee is zero for NANOS transfers
yes, exactly there is no fee to send NANO to other people, you send 1 NANO, the person receives 1 NANO.
4- all NANO wallets are very easy and simple to use.
5- NANO has a large and very active community everywhere on social media.

Most cryptocurrencies that exist some time have very low emission inflation. They are at zero or close to Gold mining emission.
Most if not all cryptocurrency have instant transaction. When you send transaction receiver see it imitatively. It just take few confirmations before eh can use that coins.
Fees in most cryptocurrencies are very low.
All cryptocurrencies wallets are easy to use.
Many crypto communities are much larger then of NANO.
1333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: May 23, 2020, 10:49:11 AM
Sub 5000 sat prices. Last weeks when Bitcoin grew Grin did not follow so Grins BTC price suffered. Question is can it go under 1000 sat. That could be the real bottom. I cant imagine it much below that.

Why not? It is unlimited suppy against limited suppy.

It can go even below 1000 sats if there is no demand for grin. I own like 50 grins nowadays it is sad to see them going down from 250 to 20 bucks. Another lottery ticket goes down.

Because at some point there will be demand. Right now is super low because everyone expect to buy it more cheap as it is now. Everything useful have a bottom that is higher then zero. And it simply cant go below that.
1334  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed concerns about US economy are a reminder that economy may never be the same on: May 23, 2020, 10:24:16 AM
Honestly, all nations will eventually have so much debt that the crisis will no longer will be crisis according to fact that I just made all of this up. I mean looking at nations there are only few of them who do not make a debt, I do not get the idea of every single nation owing money.

Maybe there should be some sort of system where everyone who owns money to someone eventually pays with others debts to them and we will get it very very low thanks to it. Like let's say Japan owes money to Germany and Germany owes to France, instead of that, Japan will owe to France straight up. Those kinds of systems already in place but unfortunately not used or adopted widely because nations like to be owed money and not care about owing money, it creates a fake power to them.

Yes. When GDP drops 10% that means that debt/GDP automatically increase 10%.  So for country that is healthy today with 60% dept of their GDP, they will automatically have 66% and then added debt that will happen because of lower income (economy lock down) and increased spending (medical and to boost economy). And we will get 80-90% and then second wave hit us.  With second wave most healthy countries will become debt problematic. The ones with 100% debt of their GDP will become pretty much at the dead end.

Hedge Fund Manager Says Governments May Make Private Gold Ownership Illegal

That is super dumb. It reflect on ban that happened 100 years ago. But at that time USD was still on gold standard so Gold mattered fro FEDs. Now it dont matter for them, since it have nothing to do with their bills. Gold is just a commodity as silver, aluminium or copper. Dumb idea to ban commodities.
1336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple should stop dumping XRP coins!! Let's all help to stop this! on: May 22, 2020, 05:42:50 PM
Ripple should stop dumping XRP coins!! Let's all help to stop this!

Why? All XRP were printed out of thin air. All. All belonged to private company called Ripple and and were given or sold to other people and companies. Owners of Ripple company then spend that money. XRP is totally irrelevant. No one cares about it, since there is no innovation about it. Ripple and its owners can do with it whatever they want. Yesterday, today and tomorrow.
1337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: May 22, 2020, 01:54:42 PM
For sure some got sucked in and buy Grin without informing them self that Grin monetary supply schedule is very different then 99% of other coins. But that si not fault of developers, but those that blindly buy coins. I am sure they lost money also in other coins and in general in life.

Slow monetary supply schedule simply give Grin developers more time for their development. Because of its value, Grin will not be under reflectors for years. Until them hopefully Grin will be easy to use coin.
1338  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed concerns about US economy are a reminder that economy may never be the same on: May 22, 2020, 01:10:45 PM
In it’s last meeting held on April 28th Fed officials unanimously agreed that US economy will never be the same if a second wave of covid19 virus attack took place, and they also pledged to do all they can to keep the economy stable during such uncertain times.

Bigger problem I see is that USA might not get a second wave since first wave will never go away. You need to beat the first wave first to be afraid of the second wave. We will see huge GDP drops in most of countries in Q2 and also latter.
1339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling top at $16500 (Even Newer!: $2483 bottom 19 Feb 2021 MtGox said so!) on: May 22, 2020, 10:32:12 AM
The more I read this analysis, the more I believe it will eventually play out. Of course not a done deal yet, a lot of things can happen, but the resistances have been stronger than the supports for quite a long time now. What will happen when those buying into the halvening fairytale will eventually lose patience and sell?
This event could explain why the last wave doesn't look very harmonic compared to the previous ones, but the scenario still looks very possible to me.

A first target I have is 6.8k, then a bounce back, then 5.5k... then 3.5k. At this point, 5.5k looks quite safe.

With a huge depression anything can happen. But without huge depression no way.  Also bottoms happen for a short time. Same as ATHs. Very hard to sell at ATH and very hard to buy at bottom. For those that hold none of this matters much. Except being sorry not to buy more when the bottom happened.
1340  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: High Bitcoin Transation!! on: May 22, 2020, 10:10:47 AM
Halving caused it with more interest for Bitcoin and with instability with block times because of hash rate drop.  I dont understand why developers dont make difficulty adjustment more often then once every two weeks.

Difficulty adjustment happens every 2016 blocks, it's not at 2 weeks and if the things will continue like now it may very well take more than 2 weeks this time.

6*24*14= 2 weeks  or 14 days or 336 hours or 2016 ten minutes. It should happen more often than it is right now.
