It was an incredible result. I have not seen this match live. I was very surprised by the result of the match. New Zealand scored only 142 runs in 20 overs. New Zealand set a target of 143 runs with the loss of 8 wickets. But the interesting thing is that UAE reached the target of victory in just 15.4 overs. UAE collect 144 runs in 15.4 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Their batting surprised me a lot. Mohammad Jawadullah and Afzal Khan bowled brilliantly. Jawadullah managed to pick up 2 wickets with 16 runs in 4 overs and Afzal managed to pick up 3 wickets with 20 runs in 4 overs. Aryansh batted brilliantly in the first match but today he could not collect any runs. Washeem scored 55 runs off 29 balls and Asif scored 48 runs off 29 balls. Due to these two innings, UAE was able to easily defeat a big team like New Zealand. UAE did surprised everyone today and they beat the giants New Zealand. Moreover, they won the match by 7 wickets so this means that they won this match convincingly. Witness just power hitting by Muhammad Waseem, the captain of UAE who scored 55 runs in only 29 balls. And then they had Asif Khan who scored 48 again in only 29 balls. Due to the brilliant batting by these two gentlemen, UAE were able to achieve the target in the 15.4 overs. Yes, finishing third in the competition is a great achievement in itself and a reason to take the last game seriously.
Australia did take this last game seriously but Sweden team were too good and they won this match by 2 goals (2-0). Both teams had almost equal shots on target (5 for Sweden and 4 for Australia) and Sweden slightly better possession of ball ( (54% for Sweden and 46% for Australia) Now I just have to make a good bet on the final to recover that lost bet.

Great to see Bumrah bowling well again. Ireland batted like crap, but they were bowling well(Especially Young) though they wouldn't win regardless of rain interference thanks to such a low target.
Ireland can actually win atleast 1 match in this series if they bat well and provide a proper target for the Indians.
I really enjoyed Jasprit Bumrah bowling and his bowling style is interesting to watch. He took 2 wickets in his two overs and Ireland made a total of 139 runs. Ireland would have a difficult time defending this score even if there was no interruption in the match. We could not witness the batting performance of the Indian team as they won the match scoring 47 runs only on DLS Method. I found an interesting turnaround in the match when Craig Young took 2 wickets in an over (5 balls to be exact) and the rain affected the match resulting in the Indian team win. |

Criticism upto a certain limit is perfectly fine. Whatever I mentioned in my recent posts is clearly under that limit. They need to improve a lot if they want to compete against stronger teams like Australia etc. That's perfectly fine and I didn't tell this to only your comment but generally, when I see different analyses from different posters, I felt that some are treating them as if they have done a sin by losing a match and a series. Even though we know that both teams came to win the matches, the other team can also be better on the day and then we all know that one team will be a winner and the other be a loser.
