Hey Ryan,

If a developer wanted to use your bankroll in conjunction with their own bankroll in their game, would that be possible?

It would, but it's not super clean. Effectively they could just use us to hedge the bets. So the bets go directly against their bankroll, but if they're uncomfortable risking that much they hedge it against us (by placing the opposite bet).

I'd recommend however just using our bankroll, it's quite a reasonable fee structure (especially so when the bets are small, which are the ones you'd probably want to bankroll yourself)

Just added a faucet which can be claimed every 5 minutes (regardless of balance) and a minimal chat. Hope this improves your DustDice experience while we continue to improve on it =)

Warning: The Chat has no moderation features yet. There be dragons here.
2283  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Generation Social Gambling Dice Experience on: April 18, 2015, 02:58:02 AM
When I am on DaDice's site I can see that in my address box. What is going on? Why https is not working? Is this only my problem?

You can click on that little lock to get some more information about why you're getting that warning
2284  Economy / Gambling / Re: WIN88.ME - BITCOIN DICE | LOTTO | RPSLS on: April 18, 2015, 02:54:58 AM
It's not a "shill" that we reserve auto-bet for real depositors.  Why would we give free BTC and then allow people to autobet this it?

What's the rationale behind this? I guess you have a roll-over requirement, and would likely people to get there by hand?
2285  Economy / Gambling / Re: What dice sites do you use? on: April 18, 2015, 02:46:39 AM
Have you given DustDice.com a try? We're still missing a few things, but it's a pretty fresh concept if you're looking for a bit of a twist on dice gambling =)

Also , how much would you estimate that this might cost me if I ever want to get it made by a good developer?

As a fellow Spartacus fan, I'd be happy to code this up for you entirely free (as a patch on-top of bustabit). I think it's a good idea, and would like to see someone do it. However, I am not in the position to host it for you, do any design changes or do anything admin related, you'd be on your own for that.

You'd also need to formalize the exact logic for the bonuses before I coded it up =)

Not to bad of a week.

Well deserved! A nice run indeed
2288  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin casino friendly wallets on: April 16, 2015, 01:43:11 PM
Interesting. So is that 1 % charge a single-time fee or a charge on every transaction?

It's on every cold address deposit. Deposits that go into the hot wallet are free, and withdrawals have a static 100 bit fee (just to pay mining fees)
2289  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing DustDice.com (beta) on: April 15, 2015, 08:03:01 PM
i just make account on dustdice the design of site is nice and layout is user firendly very simple, what about referral system about your program for bustabit and dustdice?

Thanks, we have a big list of improvements we're making but unfortunately a referral system isn't on the near-term roadmap. We already cut the money pretty thin between our investors, app developers and ourselves. But it's something we can definitely revisit after the most important improvements are made.

Finally spend the time and ironed out some performance bottlenecks. Hope you guys enjoy faster time between games =)
2291  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game (formerly moneypot.com) on: April 14, 2015, 01:10:39 PM
I'm kinda tried of reading much today.
But can someone tell me if it's copy of moneypot or moneypot and bustabit are same websites?
Bit confused.

Just a rebranding. Same site, same owner, same team, same database just a different domain.
2292  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin casino friendly wallets on: April 14, 2015, 01:08:49 PM
We designed the MoneyPot.com wallet specifically for this use-case. The problem with using blockchain.info's wallet or even a local wallet, is in general it doesn't make it any more difficult to see that you're gambling. Coins go from coinbase, to your address and then straight from you address to the casino. There's not much obfuscation going on here.

A much harder to trace way, is instead to withdraw to an exchange (localbitcoins is my favorite for this) and then withdraw from there. With small amounts of money, it's quite improbable that your spends even have your deposits as inputs.

If you're willing to pay for the service, we took the idea even a bit further on MoneyPot.com with "cold addresses" which go direct to our cold storage. As such we can guarantee no withdrawals will use these as inputs (at least for amounts less than a couple hundred bitcoins), and it has the benefit of not looking like the coins were mixed but just transferred to an address where they don't move for a while. The only real draw back here, is we have to charge a 1% fee on cold address deposits or it would be the preferred way to deposit money in moneypot.com and be almost impossible to manage
2293  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game (formerly moneypot.com) on: April 14, 2015, 04:26:51 AM
I would have gone with "BeatTheBust" rather than Bustabit.  Wink I am just glad, they decided to keep the game in any form or name.  Roll Eyes

There are too many cool Bitcoin sites that just dissapear into thin air, without prior warning. {Eg. Battleship Game}

I hope idle accounts will not be deleted... I have been quite busy at work, and did not have time to login lately. See you around the crashes soon.  Grin Grin Grin

You have nothing to worry about, we're not going anywhere =)

Just a reminder for everyone to please make sure they are pre-paid, or otherwise willing to trust snailman. My understanding is that snailman used and lost the campaign money gambling, but intends to continue to fund this campaign using his future earnings.

2297  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game (formerly moneypot.com) on: April 13, 2015, 02:08:03 AM
Op so many questions as to why the name change but no response from you..

I wish there was a great motivations but it's just as simple as we thought "moneypot.com" was a better domain for our new product. It's a bit painful rebranding, but ultimately I think it'll be worth it. MoneyPot is a great name for our bitcoin gambling wallet product, and bustabit.com is more suitable for this game!
2298  Economy / Gambling / Re: The new MoneyPot.com -- A bitcoin gambling wallet on: April 13, 2015, 02:02:57 AM
it looks that the added value of your online wallet is the ability of moving bitcoin between apps.
But I can't finally understand the concept of apps, which apps do you refer to? you mean gambling sites like bustabit? Explain details, please

There's a few benefit's of using vault, but that's a big one. Right now the only MoneyPot.com app, is dustdice.com If you play there it should be more obvious how it works, and the idea is we're going to support more and more apps, making it easy to play with them
2299  Economy / Gambling / Re: The new MoneyPot.com -- A bitcoin gambling wallet on: April 12, 2015, 11:42:48 PM
To demonstrate solvency, Vault provides a proof of liabilities.

Shouldn't you prove you own the assets to demonstrate the solvency. Proving you have liabilities and owe other people bitcoins doesn't mean you are solvent.

See the FAQ, where we sign an address that contains more than the total liabilities of the site to demonstrate solvency =)

waiting for my withdrawal for a long time already  Huh

queued for a long time
smaller withdrawals are instant
WTF is happening here  Huh

My apologizes, you're the first case of a non-instant withdrawal as the hot wallet got emptied. I try keep the hot wallet with enough money, but it's tough balance and this case I fell short of the mark. I processed the withdrawal and credited your account with 0.1 BTC for the 30 minutes or so it took me to get around to it =)

I'll work on improving this system, so it will be a very rare event. =)
