i think you will get your winnings as they have plenty of BTC in there wallets
see this https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/FortuneJack.com

I wonder how accurate it is. I put one of the addresses of my wallets in and it seems to have linked it with MtGox and 40k BTC (?!) when in reality the wallet (only) has 28.09 BTC.

Running draw #9 now, lets see who won!

As for the site, the whole point of it for me was that it's a low-maintenance site. Just once a week I pay out the winner. I'm probably never going have the energy to actively market or advertise it. I really just built the site for the fun of building it, as I thought it  a neat idea, so I built it. If it spreads virally, then that's awesome. If it doesn't, oh well. But my main project is bustabit  (and with about ~150 people online right now, and ~700 BTC/wager a day, it keeps me pretty busy Tongue)

But it seems like a pretty awesome place to advertise, here's our traffic stats from google analytics:

not bad when you can get a listing on the homepage for like 0.001 BTC Tongue
1524  Other / Archival / Re: Do all casinos hold large wins for a few weeks for "fraud inspection"? (84 BTC) on: January 05, 2016, 04:54:11 AM
I think a few weeks is a bit unreasonable, unless there's something in particular they're doing that would actually require that amount of time?

Is the amount of money in your account to gamble, or is it locked in a "pending state"? If it's free to gamble, I'd start to question if it's just a cheap tactic to get you to keep turning over the money. If you're in this position, just hold on tight. Don't gamble at all.

Personally, I had a whale on bustabit that won >100 BTC net profit in a session, and made sure the hot wallet was always full enough so that he could withdraw instantly, but in that particular case I wasn't suspicious in the least (just a lucky whale) and it was my goal to give him the smoothest experience so he'd return. However, if I was suspicious about the winnings, I probably would hold the withdrawal as long as it takes me to do some investigation (but I'd make it my first priority)
1525  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game (formerly moneypot.com) on: January 05, 2016, 03:52:58 AM
And his good run has not stopped yet. His net profit on Bustabit has gone further up to 70.5 btc at this moment. https://www.bustabit.com/user/kapi18wro

Yeah, he's doing rather well. He logs in once or twice a day for a little-hit-and-run action. He's had a few near disasters, but so far managed to just keep winning  Grin He's indicated his goal is to get to 100 BTC, so I guess at the current rate it'll take another ~2 weeks if there's no hiccups.
1526  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game (formerly moneypot.com) on: January 04, 2016, 01:19:01 AM
Whole bunch of performance improvements have landed, which helps bustabit deal with the increased amount of player activity. If you were having issues beore, give the new client a try =)
1527  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet.eu -- Bitcoin never reached my wallet on: January 01, 2016, 05:43:36 AM
FWIW I saw something like this happen to user on bustabit.com once. After a lot of debugging it turned out he had some malware  (iirc it was actually a chrome plugin) that replaced the bitcoin address with the bitcoin address of the hacker. So the money was sent to the place the website saw it, but not where it was wanted Sad
1528  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any good dice site users could invest? on: January 01, 2016, 05:23:53 AM
the new moneypot team will not scam anyone. worst case they will lose their own investment.

Once a scammer, fear will always surround the domain name.

Just to be clear, MoneyPot (or rather I) has never scammed anyone, nor have I heard anyone complaining. Since selling it, I've returned like 500+ BTC worth of peoples money (and still a ~50+) to go (claim on mp.bustabit.com) and investors made (and withdrawn) >200 BTC in profit when it was under my control.

Had I intended on scamming anyone, I would've turned it into a giant ponzi rather than selling it cheap and returning everyones money  Wink

kapi18wro's aggressive loss chasing still seems to be working!

Pretty impressive, almost 64 BTC in profit!  Shocked

My understanding was that you were the only person in control of the source for Money Pot and so no one else could do anything to speed up the rolls but yourself no? I'm not saying MP rolls are slow at all. Just not sure how an app owner would optimise it.

Taking a look, he sped up the rolls by multiplexing the bets on multiple provably fair chains. (Something that if I was still running MP, I'd contact him about to remove, as it makes provably fair verification harder and subverts the internal throttling, but that's now not my problem anymore)

Im Happy to say we have reached more than 100+ BTC Wagered, in just 7 days!!. You can check the stats on https://dicesites.com/moneypot Cool

Major update:

I have upgraded the code on the dice rolls.. And i can say, the rolls are extremely fast!.. Personal test made me bet approx. 20 Bets/sec. But ofcourse this is still based on your current internet connection.

Try us out and spam some rolls.  Cheesy

ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ♪ uni

You are using MoneyPot. You don't have access to the code to improve roll speed as it is handled by Ryan at MoneyPot.
This is a blatant lie. Also there is a throttle on rolls at MP that you don't have permission to change.

May I ask what the "blatant lie" is? I read through his posts and wasn't able to find anything misleading nor unfactual.

It's not clear if you believe that the rolls don't count as being fast, because he uses a 3rd party? Or if you don't believe he optimized his code to bet faster?
1534  Economy / Gambling / MoneyPot under new ownership. Please withdraw your money. on: December 24, 2015, 06:41:15 PM
Hey everyone. MoneyPot.com is now under new ownership ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1274857.0 ), and I will no longer be involved with it, so going forward if you continue to use moneypot, it will be under the new owners control, not mine.

If you had an account on moneypot.com, the account has been carried across to the new owners. However, any sensitive information (balances, auths, deposits, withdrawals, ips, etc) has not. If you had funds when it was under my control, I've made them available here mp.bustabit.com. If you deposit to an old-address, it will appear there. Please withdraw your money from mp.bustabit.com

Thanks!

Just 3 blocks to go (~30 minutes!). I'll make sure the winner gets it in time for xmas!

Good luck to all!
1536  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCRabbit - BiTCoin Lottery on: December 24, 2015, 04:31:09 PM
Scenario 1: Number of available tickets is not constant. For that day 300 tickets sold to 300 different players. So every player has 1/300 chance of winning. In this scenario, you can not make it provably fair because you cannot know how many tickets will attend to lottery in the beginning of the day.

Actually, it's quite possible. Check: https://www.pevpot.com/provably-fair  for a concrete example   Cool

(PevPot never knows how many tickets will be sold, but has no problems being provably fair. There's a few different ways to do this too, I believe)

1537  Economy / Gambling / Re: What does provably fair exactly mean? on: December 23, 2015, 11:55:36 PM
if there provably fair in sports gambling ?

For all intents and purpose, all sports gambling is already provably fair.

Provably fair doesn't mean you can't get cheated, it just means that if you get cheated you can tell. Obviously you can't tell if a sports match was fixed or not, but you can easily tell if the casino paid you what they should've.
1538  Economy / Gambling / Re: Provably Fair Roulettes with good limits? on: December 22, 2015, 12:29:28 AM
betking.io is probably your best bet.  I believe the roulette there is backed by the investors, so it can support rather insane limits. There's also some moneypot backed roulette sites like http://sat.oshi.xyz/ which are pretty well done too, but in terms of limits they're going to be much smaller
1539  Economy / Gambling / Re: [PSA] Please *never* reuse passwords on: December 21, 2015, 05:30:23 AM
So far everyone who's account was accessed, has used the same details at cloudbet. I have no idea if this is a coincidence (after all cloudbet is very popular), or cloudbet's db has been leaked (or vulnerable to brute-forcing). As a precaution please make sure you're not reusing a password (especially from here). If you are, change all other accounts passwords immediately =)
1540  Other / Archival / Re: Question about Land-base casinos? on: December 21, 2015, 04:23:50 AM
It's not going to be a problem at all. Maybe some upmarket casinos might not allow you to, as it'll look too cheap. You could also pretty easily record them on your phone too, for all anyone cares.

Funnily enough, I've actually been in casinos that actually give you paper and pencils to keep track of games, specifically so you can develop your own superstitions. A lot of the older crowd was keeping track of reds vs. blacks, to figure out which is "due" to come. It's great for the casino
